Hand-tufted rug, a product of my residency at AiR Sandnes, emerged from a research on forms and landscapes. The exploration, however, took an unexpected turn, leading the artwork towards a more abstract representation.

A little “in progress” shot from my latest custom mushroom rug.

I’m obsessed with the colours, the dark colour is a khaki green but it looks more brown so it has a very mint choc chip vibe to it. Just need to finish off the back and it’s done!
