As a Singaporean, my only issue with Jitter's backstory is the inaccuracy of the Singaporean school where the teacher and the students speak Malay language in class. In many Singaporean schools, the people speak in different languages (though they mostly speak English) depending on their race. While most of the lessons (science, math...etc) are spoken in English, the students are taught in different languages like Chinese, Malay or Tamil on Second Language class depending on which language the child or parent chooses. If Jitter's Second Language class is taught in Malay, then the teacher would be wearing a Tudong (the Malay version of the headscarf worn by Muslims) instead of leaving her head uncovered for a Malay teacher. Also, Jitter's classmates look more Chinese instead of a mix of Malay students and Chinese students. Though the only accurate part about the Singaporean school portrayed in the comic is the competitive nature of the Singaporeans.

hey!! I saw your pride meiker, so cute!! Just curious, I want to make a magical girl meiker with some hijab options, is there any specific hijaboptions you'd like to see in dress up games?

Hi! Thank you so much for reaching out! I generally love any and all hijab options in games, though obviously I've got some favorites.

I'm partial to face-framing scarves which are draped over the back of the head with one flowy piece pinned next to the face. It's a style that I included in my pride maker, but here's another reference image for that:

There's also a style called tudong/tudung in Indonesian. I'm not too familiar with it, but I sometimes see it in photos and think it looks so good. It has a way of draping the headscarf in a very prominent arch over the forehead, sometimes using a sown-in curved visor to achieve the look. This product video shows the style beginning at second 12. (It also shows the non-rectangular shape of the scarf, in case that's a useful drawing reference.)

Also, I think it's really great when games include a niqab option (face-veil). There's so many niqabis out there but they get so little representation.

Then there's also the very simple style of just taking a scarf, placing it on your head, and flipping one side over your shoulder. Like my profile pic. It's a timeless classic.

I'd also advice to include at least one "hijab friendly" outfit in your game, meaning one outfit with arms and legs covered. Hijab is more than just the scarf, it also includes covering the rest of the body, though each hijabi decides for themselves how much is right for them. (For example, some show a bit of hair/neck/short sleeves/etc., while other's opt to wear a burqa or niqab.)

Ja Pa Ga Sa Cabalistic Writings

Ja Pa Ga Sa is called “Khata Salak” in the Vajirasaratta Sangglaha, the ancient Thai Theravada Buddhism Texts composed by Pra Rattana Panya Tera says that the Ja Pa Ga Sa originates from the highest Buddha’s teaching of 38 kinds of practices that bring auspicious omens to oneself.

Ja is a short form of Jacha tuchuchanasa which means avoid socializing with bad people.

Pa is a short form of Pacha Sadhusamakom which means always socializing with good people.

Ga is a short form of Gara Poonyamahoratut which means to be a good person, and do good things every day, every night, and every breathe.

Sa is a short form of Sara Nijangjamanijangjati  which means everything is changeable, nothing is permanent, and we should not be attached to anything.

Pra Archan Man Phurithatto

Pra Archan Mun Bhuridatta Thera was a Thai bhikkhu from Isan region who is credited, along with his mentor, Pra Archan Sao Kantasīlo, with establishing the Thai Forest Tradition or “Kammaṭṭhāna tradition” that subsequently spread throughout Thailand and to several countries abroad.

Biography

Pra Archan Mun was born in Baan Kham Bong, a farming village in Ubon Ratchathani Province, Isan.

Ordained as a monk in 1893, he spent the remainder of his life wandering through Thailand, Burma, and Laos, dwelling for the most part in the forest, engaged in the practice of meditation. He attracted an enormous following of students and, together with his teacher, Sao Kantasīlo (1861–1941) established the Thai Forest Tradition (the kammaṭṭhāna tradition) that subsequently spread throughout Thailand and to several countries abroad. He died at Wat Suddhavasa, Sakon Nakhon Province.

Forest meditation

Pra Archan Mun’s mode of practice was solitary and strict. He followed the vinaya (monastic discipline) faithfully, and also observed many of what are known as the 13 classic dhutanga (ascetic) practices, such as living off alms food, wearing robes made of cast-off rags, dwelling in the forest and eating only one meal a day. Monks following this tradition are known as thudong, the Thai pronunciation of this Pali word.

Searching out secluded places in the wilds of Thailand and Laos, he avoided the responsibilities of settled monastic life and spent long hours of the day and night in meditation. In spite of his reclusive nature, he attracted a large following of students willing to put up with the hardships of forest life in order to study with him.

Anna Mathovani (lahir 7 November 1955) adalah penyanyi terkenal dari Bandung dan sangat berbakat seangkatan dengan Tetty Kadi, Erni Djohan, Vivi Sumanti dan lainnya.

Lagu-lagunya banyak dikenal sampai kini seperti: "Pertemuan", "Angsa putih", "Gita malam", "Di Keheningan Malam" dan masih banyak lagi.

Lagunya "Di Keheningan Malam" ciptaan Wiyarsih, yang populer pada akhir 1960-an, menggambarkan suasana Konfrontasi antara Indonesia dengan Malaysia.
