What Is and Isn't a Fish: a List
A list of the animals I discussed in my fish essay, but for those who don't want to scroll through paragraphs of text to find out if an animal is or isn't a fish. Just CTRL+F your way through here!
I'll add onto here more animals whenever I get asked about them being fish. See my fish essay here!
Some notes before you proceed:
Yes, all tetrapods are fish! We are phylogenetically fish, as we are and our ancestors were lobe-finned fish! "Fish" in the phylogenetic sense is a paraphyletic group if you try to exclude tetrapods, so it is frankly impossible.
How come tetrapods aren't listed as fish then? Long answer, read my essay. Short answer, me and other fish accounts tend to operate on the morphological definition of fish, so does most of the world. Here I use the morphological definition of "fish".

Pardon me, had a little adventure in the ol' wizard library to learn the spell i needed to send you the stuff you asked and it took a while, but BADABING BADABOOM! It worked!
Tumblr media
Or so i hope it did, but i'll share some details on what's to arrive.
Tumblr media
I had fun collecting materials that almost filled two double chests! I apologize if it's a bit much, but i'm an explorer at heart, so i like to roam around and hoard loot and necessary items :p
Here's what's inside those chests: ( when i uploaded the image it got blurry so i'll note down the items and quantities)
Tumblr media
To the left (now y'all!):
1728 Sandstone Blocks;
576 Wood Logs;
256 Blue Concrete Powder Blocks;
64 Glass Blocks;
16 White Wool Blocks;
18 Tube coral Blocks;
1 Tube Coral Fan;
1 Horn Coral;
4 Sea Pickles;
9 Blocks of Amethyst;
2 Nautilus Shells.
To the right:
24 Pumpkin seeds and 64 Pumpkins;
3 Melon seeds and 64 Melons;
64 Sugar Cane;
64 Cookies;
28 Cocoa Beans;
64 Eggs;
64 Seeds, 64 Potatoes, 64 Carrots;
14 Beetroot seeds and 41 Beetroots;
64 Bone Blocks (good to help start a farm);
22 Hay Bales;
6 Oak Saplings, 5 Birch Saplings, 4 Jungle and Acacia Saplings;
4 Bamboo, 4 Cactuses, 5 Glow Berries;
7 Red and Brown Mushrooms + 38 Mycelium Blocks to grow more;
64 Pumpkin Pies, 11 Apples, 5 Golden Apples, 10 Honey Blocks and 3 Honey Bottles.
As extras i also added some ores that might come in handy: 64 Coal, 64 Iron bars, 18 Gold Blocks;
64 Lapis Lazuli, 10 Diamonds, 16 Glowstone Blocks;
20 Flint rocks, 1 Flint and steel and 20 Obsidian Blocks (If needed, now you have a way to access that pesky lava dimension)
And finally 9 Potions of Regeneration. From what i remember, i saw you having a few rough days. Though you already possess incredible powers of regeneration, i thought these might come in handy :D
Again, I hope this doesn't come off as too much, but at least i think i sent enough sandstone.
Tumblr media
Welp, that's all for now. If you ever need anything else, just ask. Have a nice day and see you later!
OH GODS YOU ARE MY HERO THANKYOU SO MUCH HOW CAN I EVER REPAY YOU
Anything you need you got it

Some information on adopting Captain Caviar and Candy Diver? I don't want to adopt the two apart :(
* Of course, one essay just for you, dear watcher!
* Captain Caviar Cookies and Candy Diver Cookies were discovered around the same time as eachother, and as a result, both cookie types seem to enjoy and cooperate well with eachother. Captain Caviar Cookies can act as translators for a Candy Diver Cookie, converting the bubbles, clicks and sloshing into coherent speech for their human (or otherwise) housemates as well as being capable of picking up their Candy Diver Cookie companions without making them panic, making them quite valuable in a Candy Diver's care is the caretaker is of the worrying sort.
*As indivuduals, Candy diver cookies are quite bubbly (heh) and cheerful in most cases, but are always the happiest out in the sea, exploring the sand and seafloor for pretty rocks or seashells, but can also be just as happy with those silly gemstone dig kits you could find at walmart and the like if a large body of water is not avaliable where a caretaker lives. Candy Diver Cookies can be serious when need be, and won't hesitate to put their foot down if children are involved and their safety is at risk, so its very, VERY important that children are told about it beforehand, and to always moniter your children if they are playing with a candy diver cookie.
* Captain Caviar Cookies, on the other hand, are loud, proud, and particularly sturdy cookies dispite coming from The Elders line of cookie types, they are capable of withstanding alot more stress than a good handful of other cookies and even waterproof! Due to this nature, Captain Caviar Cookies are most popular with sailors and divers, just like Candy Diver Cookies, and are extremely loyal to those he deems as his 'crew' (Even when hes just in a normal household...), however, due to a captain caviars headstrong nature, he may get into more than a few scraps against any perceived threats to his family, so make sure to remind him to not stray too far away from time to time.
*Now, as for preparations you could do for the two cookies, its mainly just the basic cookie needs, a room (or at least some semblance of a private space, though Captain Caviar Cookies don't mind sharing rooms), jellies stocked, sugar and flour in case they get severely injured, etc. Some unique things you will have to prepare for is some entertainment for the candy diver cookie, who love treasures and sparkly things, and captain caviar cookies would appreciate a key to the house so he can routinely exercise thoughout the years.
*As for cookies that both would enjoy, many of the npc brand cookies that were discovered alongside them, such as Tube Coral Cookies (Republic Sailor Cookie 2), Horn Coral Cookies (Republich Sailor Cookie 1) and Rookie Cookies, and all those cookies together including a candy diver can bring tears to a captain caviar cookies eyes. As for indivudual likes, Captain caviars do enjoy some of their fellow elder line cookies, but enjoy Oyster Cookies the most and oftentimes get concerned about a Black Pearl Cookies wellbeing (though the hatred can be a tad bit one sided in terms of the Black Pearl Cookies opinion on things), and Candy Diver Cookies LOVE Squid Ink Cookies, who share their passion with shiny treasures, and are known to swap their shiny things between eachother like kids trading candy during Halloween.
*thats about all I can say! If you have any further questions that i may have missed, do let me know in an ask or a direct message!

Some Candy Diver Cookie headcanons!
Related to them being a ghost:
They were so shocked when they found out how long coral reefs last- that should give them an idea of how long they've been awake for... right?
Nope, they're still clueless
They don't question a lot of suspicious things, like how they've been 'living' for so long, how they can take off their head, why their body is just a suit... it's all normal for them. Why would they question it?
They drowned inside their suit because the breathing tube got cut while they were still alive :/
They have recurring nightmares. They can't remember them, but they always wake up in distress feeling trapped
They literally just woke up one day and went '... I don't think I'm a deep sea creature' and started exploring to figure out how they got there
More general things:
They're time blind
Because of this, they're not aware that they've been awake for thousands of years
Their sleep schedule is a mess because they're not used to sunlight and day-night cycles. They just sleep whenever they're tired
They're neurodivergent
They do the t-rex arms thing
They like hugs! But they hate being touched without permission
They stim! They like to wave their arms around and feel the water/air move around them (water is better for that), and they also wiggle to make noises!
They do their best to accommodate for everyone's needs
They communicate their basic needs with more-or-less universal body language, but they prefer sign language to actually have conversations
They tied their flashlight to their wrist so they wouldn't have to hold it all the time

Her Portal Tree.
What if, in a timeline faraway, a young girl in her blue mud splattered boots, jumps over a stream, takes a few turns and comes face to face with a large and old tree, with broken trunks with cascading mosses, and with sprawling branches that just seem to beckon to be climbed on. What if she enters its domain, and the world seems pristine and serene? What if upon each branch hangs or rests an item with a hole in it? Hollowed tree cookies, hollowed acorn caps with popped stems, shells dotted with boring holes, leaves perfectly rolled into little bead like tubes, twigs assembled and held together by a grape vine, leaves with delicate circles carefully eaten out between the veins , old honey combs, pieces of coral, partial skulls of all sizes with at least 1 eye orbital intact or a chiming arrangement of hag stones? What if, with each peek through, she enters a new world, fills it with giggles and love, and leaves behind dozens of grieving brothers?

Muak!
✦ Ignis Scientia x Carmen Mirabile . : Word count: 2507 . : Warnings: Slightly No-SFW. Romance. Spicy Fluff. Established relationship. Canon x Original Character.
Summary: Ignis and Carmen share some kisses. The special thing that differenciates each display of affection is marked by what lip product the lady is wearing, or not.
Tumblr media
.   . . . .   . . .
✤ Bare, in the bedroom.
It was still too early.
Somedays, it would happen like that. They would wake up when the sun had not even deemed it the time to rise, the sky and indoors painted in the lightest of palettes.
It would all begin with a murmur or the hiss of shifting blankets. The sound of a smooch, a sigh or a giggle. Rustling of hair that would call upon caressing noses, before a peck came. One and other and other. It would become a competition of stealing kisses.
The phone was ringing…
A groan would cut through the noise of their kissing. Carmen would stop him, cupping his cheek with the only intention of continuing a second longer, time that would grow as he complied…
They would roll in bed with a hint of a giggle being heard in the process. The caller ID would pronounce in monotone a name they both recognize.
“I have to answer…”, Ignis would interrupt with a raspy tone before he kissed her once more. His hand would already be moving to grab the protesting phone, making her smile in the kiss and surrender his lips in favor of a cheek.
“Carmen-”, he’ll protest kindly, amused by her intentions, so similar to his own.
“Only one.”, she calls, pressing her lips one last time before letting him go.
Ignis catches the movement of her finger coming to caress her own lips, all while she watches him move away to answer the call. The polite and even tone in his voice betrays all the rushing passion in his veins.
.   . . . .   . . .
✤ Chapstick, for a chocobo ride.
The day is hot and the breeze, when it comes, it’s refreshing. They’ve been crossing the valleys, mounting happy and eager to run chocobos. It’s quite the exhilarating date, chasing each other, competing and flying from top hills or rocks. It’s all laughter and kwehs most of the time.
They stop for a while, intending to eat a few snacks and rest. The chocobos gourge happily the beans and drink plentiful of water. They pet their feathery heads to thank them for their never ending kindness.
The shade of a tree is the perfect spot to extend a blanket and set the basket down. They sit, and mid bites, Carmen points at the corner of his mouth were sauce has stained him. He tries to clean himself with a napkin, to no avail. He tries once more and huffs in annoyance when the white napkin comes clean in his hands.
Carmen moves closer, shaking her head with a smile on her lips, and carefully wipes the small dollop with the path of her finger, taking it to her mouth instead of the clean napkin.
Ignis scolds her out of embarrassment, only to end up rolling his eyes with a chuckle as she shows no remorse. She is a little too happy with her little stunt to fluster him.
He decides to get her back.
As soon as her hand moves back to wipe itself clean to grab a sandwich, Ignis’ eyes follow her every movement. The bite she takes in is small and she is very careful with the sauces, but that won’t stop him. He waits a second until she has already swallowed before diving in to steal a kiss. Her whole body tenses and she grows some inches taller as her back straightens. He is positive she would have shrieked with how sudden he attacted but only a whine comes out.
Ignis pulls back with the hint of his tongue licking at his own lips. Carmen’s face flares and they both know it’s not from sunburn.
“Tasty”, he declares.
Carmen’s lips are parted but no words are encouraged to leave and defend her. She is stunned into silence.
Her strawberry chapstick left a sweet taste in his mouth.
.   . . . .   . . .
✤ Gloss, at camp.
Cooking at camp is both relaxing and stressful. For every time he chops a veggetable, seasons meat or mixes the stew, there's a lovely mosquito or more practicing their singing by his ear or they're hungry for his blood.
However, he gets to enjoy some time alone to focus on more mundane things, read a magazine while he cooks and let his mind drift away from worries for a moment.
He hears the chatter of the lady bunch around the chocobos resting by the campfire. They discuss beauty products and while they talk, his eyes come to look at the way Carmen pays attention. She has been fond of skincare and cosmetic products since forever, so her eyes have a special gleam to them when they search and rumage in their own make up pouches to show a tube of mascara, a bullet of lipstick or a cushion foundation.
Ignis is quite delighted with the fact that Carmen gets to bond with others that share her passion in the lonesome times that the journey had thrusted upon them.
It isn't until he hears laughter from the girls, overpowering Noct and Prompto's own battle cries over Kings Knight, that he stops and glance at them. A blonde mass of curls stops his gaze from reaching Carmen, but he more or less understands that Iris and Honey are putting some kind of product on her.
Shaking his head, Ignis focuses on the meal at hand only to pause a few minutes into it when he hears giggles anew. He turns to look at them, only to notice that only Iris and Honey are seated and leaning on Aloe's green feathered body to look almost directly at him.
His ears easily pick up the noise of Carmen's boots on the rocky ground, coming from behind him. He sets the spoon besides the pot and the magazine on the table as her hand comes in touch with the expanse of his back. He turns in time to see her blushing face, enveloped in the orange light of the lamp hanging by his cooking station, making her skin glow and highlighting the very prominent way her lips look. Plumper, redder and shiny with lipgloss. Carmen looks bothered by the texture of the product, because it certainly makes her lips juicy and eye catching, but the stickyness is a hideous feeling.
"Ignis, dear. Do you need any help with supper?"
The man stands transfixed, caught in the spell of her lips moving and shining so delectably even when she seems notably flustered. Her position is the best to keep the lamp light on her face in a very flattering way and Ignis can't help but think of maraschino cherries, but snaps of his reverie rather quickly when she presses her lips together and hides them for a moment.
Now they are both dwelling on their shyness.
They spend a good ten minutes randomly chatting, not really colaborating together on the meal. Ignis is quite capable of managing the cooking on his own and he is well aware that while Carmen's kindness is always there, she hasn’t exactly come to help but to attempt something. Ignis can't quite place what it is yet. They sneak glances from time to time and it's maddening.
Carmen palates the stew with a graceful move that inclines the small plate to her lips. Her tongue comes out to swiftly cleanse the inner side of her lips and when they stretch in the curve of a smile Ignis has to breath in and control himself.
It isn't until Ignis requires a plate that Carmen moves, swiftly manifesting she could get it. Being a gentleman, the least he wants is to see the lady croaching to get them from the lower compartment of the station, yet no one moves away, meeting halfway instead.
Hiding behind the bulk of the portable cooking aparatus, Carmen takes the opportunity to rest a hand by the nape of his neck, fingers playing with the longer locks of hair there, to pull him in firmly onto herself to kiss him. Ignis makes a noise but doesn't pull back, and he can remotely hear the booing that comes from the girls at camp.
When Carmen pulls back and her lips show some resistance to let go of his due to the nature of the lipgloss' formula, Ignis' thumb moves to wipe it off her lips, enjoying the ignited light and gratefulness on her eyes.
.   . . . .   . . .
✤ Tint, before a meeting.
Ignis had called Carmen to his office with the intention of reviewing a document that had to be presented for the next council meeting. He had prepared himself accordingly to receive her, knowing full well she didn't have too much time to spare on her schedule. He thought that a nice plate with cookies and some coffee would serve as a nice gesture for her visit and time.
He conceals his excitement quite well as she is announced and he moves to open the door soon after as to not make her wait. She greets him with polite words and straight posture, walking elegantly into the room and leaving behind the nice clicking of heels over the polished floor. She takes a seat and waits patiently for him to start the review, ever so professional.
At one point, Ignis can only focus on the soft, feathery look of her plump lips as she bites into one of the chocolate crinkled cookies he had served. The contrast of textures is sharp. The airbrushed coral tint of her lips against the rawness of the cookie makes him stare for a touch longer than it is polite.
"Darling, please. Let us finish the task at hand.", she murmurs after chewing, certainly amused by his distracted state. She leans in a little to whisper purposefully. "I'll indulge you with one kiss once time comes and I have to take my leave."
A pink blush blooms on Ignis' cheeks but he nods, somehow managing to smile while being flustered.
The meeting ends shortly after that, with marked lines within the paragraphs, comments on the margins, the plate empty besides a few crumbs and their gentle gazes connecting with the promises of a kiss lingering in their minds.
Carmen rises from her seat in one fluid movement, taking the folder with both hands to hold it softly to her chest. They walk to the door and before Ignis can open it, Carmen turns to look at him.
"Thank you for your time. I'll make the corrections accordingly."
Ignis nods and with the twist of the doorknob, comes a gentle press of lips against his cheek. The door remains closed as they share the brief romantic moment. He closes his eyes as her fingers caress his jaw, Carmen standing on tip toes and with one leg raised to match his height. A hand of his moved to steady her by the waist.
The kiss was as soft as the powdered sugar atop the cookies. Velvety, gentle, and as she pulls back, Ignis notes the color and softness remained everlasting on her lips. Their eyes meet for a few seconds, lovingly and easy as the display of affection.
"See you later..."
Ignis bids her goodbye with a smile and a fleeting touch on his own face when he closes the door of his office.
.   . . . .   . . .
✤ Rouge, for a date.
The night is lovely, the event even more so. The food was delicious and the red wine served was rich in texture. Ignis couldn't avoid comparing it to the smooth and vibrant shade of lipstick Carmen had decided to wear that evening. It had his eyes straying to her lips more often than not.
She took each sip with delight, savoring the liquid with interest while listening to the table engaging in pleasant conversation. As she spoke, Ignis' eyes did his best to not blatantly stare at the meticulously lined lips, so plump and noticeable now that the color made them pop up more than usual. Carmen was quite delighted with the reactions it produced.
Later, the dancefloor invited them to engage in the music and dance.
They sway, gently, to the compass of the ambient music being played by the live band. The lights are low and everything seems ethereal, bathed as it is by fairy lights and the candles on the tables.
The couples dance all around them, moving as slow as them. It's quite the romantic setting and neither Ignis or Carmen can't stop the need to look into each other's eyes. It's mesmerizing.
"It's a lovely night. Don't you think?", Ignis whispers into her ear. His hands moving carefully. He is feeling brave enough to ghost finger pads over the exposed skin of her back or the soft fabric that covers her hip.
Carmen chuckles, cheeks tinted a beautiful light pink as she hums in agreement.
"It is. Now, don't distract me. Let us enjoy this moment a touch longer.", Carmen teases, her voice just as low in tone as his when he spoke before her. Is Ignis' turn to chuckle, nodding in agreement.
Being part of a mass of dancers on the barely lit ballroom had it perks, and neither of them are going to let the chance of discreetly showing just a bit of their love then, in their gestures, in their closeness, in their actions. They stay focused.
Carmen squeezes at his shoulders at one point. Their face leaving all smiles to focus seductively on one another. Their foreheads touch, as do their noses, and it's a coordinated movement when her arms circle his shoulders, his close around her waist, and their heads tilt and they meet halfway, all as smoothly as they dance.
Ignis and Carmen kiss without rush as the backup singers’ voices come together for a beautiful harmony. It takes a lot of concentration to keep moving with the crowd while they still on their own personal moment, but they manage, albeit a bit slower in pace.
A few seconds or minutes later they part, and Carmen is the first to smile at him, hand gently cradling his chin. It's an image that burns into Ignis' mind with the strength and finesse of a forging fire, yet it is as brief as a dream, because Carmen's soft expression melts into one of surprise soon after. Her body vibrates with barely concealed amusement and she at least takes it to herself to laugh onto his shoulder, muffling the noise for others to miss.
"What is it?", Ignis asks in a hurried but hushed tone.
They keep dancing, but the song will endsoon, Carmen can tell. That's why she pulls back, his pocket handkerchief fetched from its place on his coat and ready in her hand to clean his lips of the rouge stain, so obvious and scandalous.
"I made quite the mess on you. Forgive me."
Ignis understands then, blushing profusely as she diligently cleans the lipstick from him. Hers looks as impeccable as always, maybe a tad muted, no doubt the result of being transferred to his own lips with their kissing.
They bask in that still foreign and yet so familiar feeling of complicity, of team work.
The music shifts and so do the lights.
"Once more?", Ignis asks.
"Yes, of course.", Carmen concedes.

Figuring out what to put in a bridesmaid box is a pretty big decision—after all, these are gifts for the people that you eventually want standing by your side on the wedding day, and it’s important to show them just how much they mean to you. The bridesmaid proposal box (a.k.a. surprising someone with a customized gift box) is a sweet way to ask your closest friends or family members to be in your wedding, but deciding exactly what to include in a bridesmaid box isn’t always an obvious answer. The good news is that you have plenty of options. Another plus? You can find bridesmaid box ideas for nearly any theme or budget on websites that you’re probably already using for your big day, like Amazon and Etsy (and while you’re at it, check out the WeddingWire Shop, our latest go-to site for all things wedding-related).

A cute box
Last but not least, don’t forget about presentation! Deciding what to put in a bridesmaid box is important, but you should also pay attention to the appearance of the gift itself as you’re choosing items. For the most cohesive look (i.e. a box that doesn’t just look like a random assortment of items), stick to a general color palette and theme. Don’t worry about being too matchy-matchy—it’s okay if not everything is the exact same shade of pink, for example—but remember that the overall goal is to create a curated box.

This Seawater Is 20,000 Years Old, and Has Remained Untouched Since the Last Ice Age
Twenty thousand years back, life in the world was a lot cooler. It was the tail end of a 100,000-year glacial epoch — likewise called the Last Glacial Optimum — and enormous sheets of ice covered much of The United States and Canada, Northern Europe and Asia. (If they had actually been around at the time, New york city City, Berlin and Beijing would all have actually been entombed in ice.)
Researchers are utilized to studying this cold spell in Earth’s history by taking a look at things like coral fossils and seafloor sediments, today a group of seafaring scientists might have discovered a piece of the past that blows all the others out of the water: a real sample of 20,000-year-old seawater, ejected of an ancient rock development from the Indian Ocean.
According to the scientists, who explained the discover in a research study to be released in the July 2019 problem of the journal Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, this discover represents the very first direct residue of the ocean as it appeared throughout Earth’s last glacial epoch.
The scientists discovered their watery reward while drilling sediment core samples out of the undersea limestone deposits that comprise the Maldives island chain in South Asia. After carrying each core onto their research study vessel, the group sliced the rock like a tube of cookie dough and put the pieces into a hydraulic press that squeezed any residue wetness out of the pores. [Photos: Traces of an Ancient Ice Stream]

When the scientists evaluated the structure of these fresh-pressed water samples aboard their ship, they were amazed to discover that the water was incredibly salted — far saltier than the Indian Ocean is today. They did more tests back on land to take a look at the particular components and isotopes (variations of components) that comprised the water, and all the results appeared out of location in the modern-day ocean.
In reality, whatever about these water samples showed that they originated from a time when the ocean was considerably saltier, chillier and more chlorinated — precisely as it is believed to have actually been throughout the Last Glacial Optimum, when ice sheets drew up ocean water and dropped water level to numerous feet listed below existing levels.
“From all indications, it looks pretty clear we now have an actual piece of this 20,000-year-old ocean,” lead research study author Clara Blättler, an assistant teacher of geophysical sciences at the University of Chicago, stated in a declaration.
If these outcomes certainly hold water, the brand-new samples offer the very first direct take a look at how the ocean responded to the geophysical swings of the last glacial epoch. This understanding might result in enhanced environment designs to assist comprehend our own shifting world, Blättler stated, as “any model you build of the climate has to be able to accurately predict the past.”
Keep in mind: At the time of this post’s publication, no one had actually yet petitioned to consume the ancient ocean juice.

I just spent forty minutes looking for matching earrings and did NOT find a matched set, but I DID find: -All of the make up that I don't wear (ie, all the make up I own) -my unfinished and very horrible crochet practice square -lip balm that is older than my school-aged nephew (juicy fruit flavor) -Two tubes of tinted lip balm, different shades (herbal blends) -FUCKING THREE tubes of lipstick;; two very shimmery, pale coral tones, and one candy apple red -waaaaaay too much lip stuff for someone who doesn't even wear chapstick -multiple chains, very dainty and very tangled -six different fortunes from fortune cookies long gone -my time turner -nail polish -an ear cuff that has a turtle on it -a million pennies (one with a hole punched in it, and one from 1927) -LITERALLY EVERYTHING EXCEPT FOR TWO MATCHING EARRINGS

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I slept in today. I was up pretty late last night working on my Beauty Haul post and didn’t get to bed until around            2:45 am. I really loved the way my makeup came out today!! Also I received the 2 items that I was waiting on from my Beauty Haul post so I will do a quick haul post showing you what I received. Well…. let’s jump into this Face of the Day, and as always I will review the new products used in Final Thoughts …. *Side Note* I have decided to include my perfume of the day in my Face of the Day posts, also please ignore the very visible eye lash glue on my right eye lashes …..
This was a 2018 Limited Edition Release by Marc Jacobs. I purchased mine off Amazon for $55, currently on the Amazon website for $53…. It has notes of has a blend of red berries, violet leaf, violet, white flowers, and white woods. I use this one sparingly. I never want to run out. Out of all the perfumes from the Daisy line …. this by far is my favorite one. The scent lingers for hours and is such a soft feminine scent that has a perfect balance of sweet and demure.
Base: I primed my face using the NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer ($11.20 at Ulta). I color corrected just the very inner and outer corners of my under eyes using Believe Beauty Brighten Up Color Correcting Concealer ($4 at Dollar General) in the shade Light/Medium. For foundation today I have a combo of 2 dropper fulls of  Loreal True Match Lumi Glow Amour Glow Boosting Drops ($14.99 at Ulta) in the shade 507 Day Break and 2 squeezes of Loreal 24-HR Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation ($12.99 at Ulta) in the shade 202 Creamy Natural (I only needed to use 1 layer so I put out way too much product on my face palette, so 1 of each would have been more than enough). I lightly concealed my under eyes using Loreal Infallible Pro-Glow Concealer ($9.99 at Ulta) in the shade 01 Classic Ivory (the coverage was a bit low so I added just a tiny bit more on the inner corners where I have deep circling since I didn’t go to sleep till late yesterday). I set my full face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Translucent. I warmed up my face using Benefit Hoola Bronzer ($30 at Ulta). My skin looked so beautiful with all these glowy items on that I opted not to bake the high points of my face.
Eyes: I primed my lids using NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer ($30 at Sephora) in the shade Medium 1 Custard and set them using RCMA No Color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website). For today’s eye look I used the Profusion Cosmetics Eye & Cheek Artistry Palette ($10 On their website). For my transition shade I went in using the color Honest (a dusty peach matte). As my crease shade I used the color Cookie (a terracotta brown matte). On the first 2/3 of my mobile lid I used the color Mic Drop (a bronze metallic). I then deepened the outer v and outer 1/3 of my mobile lid using the shade Come Back (a deep camel brown matte) and then went back in with more of the shade Cookie over the middle of the outer 1/3 and inner 2/3 of the mobile lid to blend the harsh line away. On my lower lash line I dusted lightly more of the shade Cookie and buffed the edges using more of Honest. I used the highlighter shade called Heartfelt (a champagne highlight) from the same palette to highlight my inner corners of my eyes. I lined my lower waterlines using ColourPop BFF Creme Gel Liner ($6 on their website) in the shade Get Paid (a rose gold metallic). I set my brows using the Tinted Brow Gel from the Profusion Cosmetics Good Brow Day 2pc Kit ($8 on their website) to set my eye brows and then I filled in my brows with the matching Ultra Fine Brow Pencil all in the color Dark Brown. I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the made side and set the brow line using the shade Whipped (a bright cream matte). I popped on a pair of the Profusion Cosmetics Iconic 3D Faux Mink Lashes ($7 on their website) in the style Big Tease and coated my upper and lower lashes using Profusion Cosmetics Lash Out Loud Mascara ($4 on their website) in black.
Cheeks and Lips: For blush and highlighter I used the Profusion Cosmetics Eye & Cheek Artistry Palette ($10 On their website). For the blush I combined the shades Lush (muted peach… in the pan it looks like a satin, on the skin it’s actually a matte) and Breath Taking  (a mid-toned coral again in the pan this one looks like a satin but on the skin it’s a matte). I used the shade Heartfelt (a champagne highlight) to highlight the tops of my cheeks, center of my chin, bridge of my nose, Cupid’s bow, and above my brows. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6) in the shade BFF 3 (deep brown nude) and filled in my lips using MAC Matte Lipstick ($19 at Ulta and MAC) in the shade Velvet Teddy (deep toned beige).
Final Thoughts:
Loreal True Match Lumi Glow Amour Glow Boosting Drops: A+++!!!!                                  These glow drops are amazing!! They do not change the consistency of the foundation and they do not change the tone of the foundation either. Combined with the Loreal 24-HR Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation this is a deadly beautiful combination. There is no scent to these drops and they are not sticky or greasy. I will go out on a limb and say these drops are my favorite glow drop formula ever. I will most definitely be repurchasing them.
Loreal 24-HR Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation: A+++!!!!                                                           The shade I chose is 202 Creamy Natural and this is a spot on match for my skin tone. This foundation is so stinking beautiful! Truly it is. It’s also full coverage. I thought I would need 2 squeezes of the tube but I didn’t, 1 would have been more than enough for my neck and face. This foundation looks amazing. My skin was glowy and looked very healthy. I am so in love with this foundation that I ordered a backup today.
Loreal Infallible Pro-Glow Concealer: A+                                                                                   This is a pretty concealer. I’m glad I got the chance to try it. I would grade this one higher save for the fact that it’s not that high of coverage. It’s light weight and a bout low medium coverage.  Don’t get me wrong… just because I didn’t grade it higher doesn’t mean that I don’t really like it. I definitely will be using this a ton more, and I may even repurchase it when I run out.
Profusion Cosmetics Eye & Cheek Artistry Palette: A+++!!!                                                      This is a great face and eye palette. The shadows all went on super pigmented and blended out welll and did not muddy when buffed into other colors. There was very little bit of kick back in the pans for the eye shadows and there was zero fallout on the face. The blushes, however, are not the same. There was heaps of kick back in the pans, so much so that I had to wipe down my vanity after I was done my makeup, but the color payoff is amazing. Theses blushes are not chalky or patchy and the buffed into the cheeks wonderfully. The highlighters are  good …. not the best I’ve tried…  but good enough that I would use them again. This is a great palette to travel with and to have in my collection… and the price point is a great value. I liked this palette so much that I think I may pickup their Siennas Palette also.
Profusion Cosmetics Good Brow Day 2pc Kit: B-                                                                       Out of all the Profusion products I purchased, this was the least impressive to me. In part this is because the brow gel didn’t wow me. It doesn’t hold the brow hairs in place that well and it’s so gloppy that it gets all over the skin around the brows, it’s also deeper in color than the pencil which means I would have to do my brows first and then set them…. I prefer to set my brows first and then fill them in. Now, the pencil is hard pressed…. meaning that it takes more presser to get the pencil to coat the brows. It didn’t skip but I did feel as though it did pull at the brow hairs a bit. I liked the way my brows looked with this product, but it was hard to get a crisp outline and it does fad around the 3 hour mark around the outside of the brows. It’s still a good brow kit for the price point it just didn’t wow me. I’ll continue to use the pencil but i will not use the gel again and I do not see myself repurchasing this product.
Profusion Cosmetics Iconic 3D Faux Mink Lashes: A+++!!!!                                                      Out of all the Profusion products I purchased this is the stand out winner for me. These lashes do not need to be trimmed down or worked over to get them to shape around the eye shape. The bands look as though they would be stiff and heavy but they’re not. They are very flexible and I can barely tell that I’m wearing them. There’s no pinching at the ends and they flair out so beautifully. I already placed an order for more pairs of the Big Tease style and also ordered one box of the Oh Darling style. I can already tell I will be repurchasing these lashes again and again.
Profusion Cosmetics Lash Out Loud Mascara: A+++                                                                        I can’t believe this mascara is only $4. It’s a great quality mascara. The wand shape is like the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara wand except a bit longer. My lashes don’t feel crunchy or clumpy and the length I got on my lower lash line was amazing. I can see myself repurchasing this mascara again.
  Well that’s it dolls… Hope you have a great rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits. Stay tuned for my mini beauty haul. As always remember… save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO
