Someone sent me this post the other day and I thought about it again, so I wanted to discuss it.

Because anon has a point! I have A LOT of good artist friends who would love the same opportunities I get. I would love to see more artists getting picked up by ccs! But I also think people are giving themselves the Mandela effect? Like, I've actually seen similar opinions a couple of times (anons complaining in my asks) and people are thinking I work for like a dozen ccs when I've only worked with a small handful. So here's a list of the ccs I do art for regularly:

Martyn: All thumbnails + video assets

Grian: Second channel's non-Minecraft thumbnails

That's it. Those are my main mcyt clients. No one else comes to me regularly. And if we count smaller jobs:

Ren: 15 emotes (so technical only 2 commissions in the last year)

Tubbo: 9 thumbnails for a DnD campaign (but this was for the Tubathon and I wasn't the only artist commissioned for thumbnails)

Owenjuice: 1 thumbnail

???: I can't say who this is yet but I only did 1 thumbnail

And that's it. 6 isn't actually that many, plus all of these ccs have commissioned other artists recently. Grian + Ren have gotten TCG card art from other fan artists. I'm not even in the Hermitcraft TCG artist pool and I'm pretty sure all the artists working on it are fan artists. 3 of my clients listed here have also worked with my friend Noxlotl, and I could name a couple of other fan artists who have probably gotten to work with more ccs than I have.

I just don't understand why I'm getting labelled as "the fan artist that does all official cc art" in a negative way when it's just not true. Idk. It's not a big deal, I just want people to stop thinking I'm this giant fan artist who has been commissioned by a million ccs when I'm just not.

imm be a a lil hater but i'm getting sick of seing cherrifire's art used by every cc

like don't get me wrong, supporting a fan artist is great and cherri's art is amazing but i think it's getting overused a bit

i liked it when it was only martyn's thumbnails, it gave them a distinct look but it's like she's the only fanartist in the fandom and it kinda makes me sad

i'm glad she's able to get so much recognistion and support off of block guys drawings but i think diveristy is alway a win

I feel like even if this girl is very sus right now, and possibly leading them into the trap, tubbo still would bond with her, protect her and even be an apologist for her(also me being like "i miss sunny so much, I'm gonna project them into this little girl")

Oh for sure. He would let her kill him if it meant she would be safe :( especially because Sloevi failed to protect Panic in his mind and he won’t let anyone else die if he can help it.
