Ttte yard sale headcanons

Thomas: doesn’t really care about yard sales, only goes because his aunts do.

Edward: buys entire dish sets because he likes one piece but didn’t want to separate them.

Henry: buys things that he could turn into a plant pot

Gordon: doesn’t do yard sales

James: went to one, bought a nice looking wool jacket that fit him, found out that it was infested with fleas two weeks too late, never went to a single yard sale again.

Percy: gravitates toward the toys.

Toby: buys the most junkiest thing he could find because he’s worried that no one will see the beauty in it and throw it out. Totally is not projecting his past onto it.

Henrietta: makes Toby take the junk back to where he bought it.

Duck: is only interested in buying certain things from yard sales.

Donald: is chewing the seller out for scamming his twin out on a cheap cereal bowl

Douglas: got scammed out of his money over a cheap cereal bowl.

Oliver: haggles with the seller.

Emily: is more interested in clothes than other stuff

Whiff: grabs random stuff off the side of the road and regularly shoplifts from yard sales.

Toby grumbled softly as he struggled to button up his new work jacket "Come on...why is this so hard?" He wheeshed quietly to himself.

Henrietta came up beside him, her ears twitching "Toby? What’s the matter?"

"It's these clothes, Henrietta! They're too fiddly!" Toby replied. Henrietta chuckled "It can't be that bad, dear". Toby huffed, steam blowing out his nostrils "Well, that's easy for you to say. This humanoid business feels a bit much. I feel so...strange" He replied, reaching up to feel his horn.

"Well...there's a couple good things about this"

"Like what?"

Henrietta smiled and stepped closer until she was towering over him a bit "Well, we can hug much better now, and..." Suddenly, the humanoid carriage pulled the tram engine in and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. Toby's eyes just dilated and his face flushed pink.

After breaking their kiss, Henrietta purred "We have a lot more space to do that".

Suffice to say, Toby was a blushing, smiley mess for the rest of the day.
