most of that’s just carpenter, i haven’t even mentioned the Teens who do Genocide + shrue being a weird pathetic little guy the whole time. there’s also faulkner, who actually attempts to do his job and care for others for once (doesn’t last long) hayward and paige also have some of the best arcs and cutest scenes together aaaaggujhhhh

tbh, I think The Watcher In The Wings has to be my favourite horror so far. I am in love with stories using their medium for their advantage to do something creative and break its boundaries a bit. Loved how Hembry's lines always had an echo to it, as if he was standing alone on a stage (which he was). It contrasted so well with Paige, who at the beginning still had the normal ambience sounds fit for a radio play, but at some point she also gets the stage echo, which signifies that she has fallen under the influence of the Watcher too.

So... Now when arcane ended almost two weeks ago i have something to tell... Why Viktor is soooo Silt Verses coded???

I mean his life was full of suffering and it keeps getting worse, he died, he was reborn with some powers that supposed to help but actually became even bigger problem, he started a cult, people literally called him "The Machine Herald", he died AGAIN, but then was reborn AGAIN with even more power and grotesque body, he made a whole army of his own followers with his glorious evolution, and then he finally died, and all people will always remember him only as a villain no matter how much he try to make the world a better place.

I mean... Am i going insane or...???

The Silt Verses my absolute beloved: I'm relistening and was so excited to get back to Chapter 17, and the way that most of the episode just sweeps over you with an unexpected degree of kindness. Important to be reminded that kindness — or something like it — is possible, even in this brutal world.
