haven’t been playing it recently but i love Tsuki’s Odyssey, so i decided to draw Chi in my artstyle!! will eventually draw some other characters from this game too bc they’re great as well

1. I completely forgot about the Halloween update and started a lot later I’m sorry!!!

And I’m sad to announce the shed has become storage again instead of being decorated

Maybe if I buy more furniture I’ll get decorating but for now it must store my chicks

18 Tsuki’s Odyssey Tips & Tricks You Might Have Missed

Tsuki’s Odyssey is a passive adventure game where you can decorate homes, interact with the characters of Mushroom Village, and make a life of your own. Unlike other games where you get to control every movement of your character, Tsuki is a free spirit. He will move as he please so you as a player is there to observe and guide him.

Created by HyperBeard Games, the same creator behind Pocket Love, Tsuki’s Odyssey is the second game which follows Tsuki, the rabbit. The first game with a similar concept is Tsuki’s Adventure. 

Personally, I preferred Tsuki’s Odyssey more as the graphics and interactivity is much better here. With that let’s hope into the world of the Mushroom Village as we uncover the tips and tricks I’ve discovered while playing Tsuki’s Odyssey.

This tips and tricks post will cover how to get more carrots, fishing queries and other fun tricks! Let’s start:

How to Get More Carrots:

Handpick the Carrots 

According to some online sources, handpicking carrots instead of using the scythe will yield a shorter cooling time, resulting in more carrots. However, this is only applicable when you just started the game. Once you hit the 2 hours mark, there is no growing back. 

Take note, as this was not a mechanism that is supposed to happen in the game, it is unsure if the developers have removed it.

Put the Fertilizer in the 3 Little Spots on the Carrot Farm

Once you’ve unlock the fertilizer, up it in the smaller spot on your carrot for more carrots. For you to make a profit, you have to harvest at least 4 times a day. You can purchase the fertilizers from Rosemary later in the game.

Fun tip: Putting the fertilizer in Moca or Chi’s home will unlock exclusive dialogue.

Search for Camellie the Chameleon 

One of the ways to get carrots quickly is to search for Camellie the Chameleon. Most of the time he is camouflaged on the roofs but sometime, you can find him on the grass or noticeboard as well. Once you find him, watch a 30 second ads and you will get 300 carrots. You can do this multiple times a day.

Get 250 Carrots from the Agents Outside Your House

Another way to get carrots quickly is through the agents outside your house. These agents will offer you 250 carrots for watching a 25 seconds video. They will appear multiple times a day.

Bounties

After a few days, the bounty section of the game will unlock. There, you can get rewards for getting a certain type of fish per day. The noticeboard will refresh daily so be sure to turn your fishes in before the day refreshes at 8am.

This is also the only way you can get high prices for your fishes as Yori’s will only buy your fish for half the price it is worth.

All About Fishes at Tsuki’s Odyssey:

Keep 2 of Each Fish

As mentioned, bounties are the only way you can sell your fish for a high price so it is good you can keep two of every fish you catch. You can sell the rest to Yori’s.

Limited Number of Fishes

There is a limited number of fishes per fishing spot. Thus, you should head to another fishing spot after catching 10 fishes in 1 fishing spot.

Fish at Different Times of the Day

Different fishes will appear at different fishing spots. They will also appear at different times of the day. For example, axolotls will appear at 2am to 3am at the fishing spot near Rosemary’s shop.

Thus, you should hop into the game at different times of the day and fish at the three fishing spots available.

One of the ways you can search for the fish you want is via this fandom wiki here. Another way is to manually record them down every time you fish.

Unlock Fishing in Tsuki’s Odyssey Quickly

To unlock fishing quickly, purchase the fishing stick for 1,000 carrots from Yori’s. This fishing stick is made by Pipi and it will help you jump into fishing quickly.

The next time you’ll see a fishing equipment is a fishing rod. It retails for 7,500 carrots but it gives your a shorter waiting time between fishes. It is also 40% more efficient than the fishing stick. 

Purchasing Items from Yori’s:

Storage Expansion - Backpacks

Expand your storage buy purchasing a backpack from Yori’s. You will start off the game with 50 storage space and it could be expanded by getting a back. Here are the bags available: 

Backpack - 80 slots, 1,000 Carrots

Mountaineer Backpack - 120 slots, 3,000 Carrots

Schumaker Backpack - 200 slots, 5,000 Carrots

Gold Ball in the Gacha Machine

If you are look for the alternative / rare Gacha set, keep your Gacha tickets and wait for the gold balls to appear in the machine. If you are planning to buy out the whole machine, you need 10 tickets.

You can purchase the tickets from Yori’s or get them from your punch card. The Gacha machine could be found in the Town Hall.

Store’s items refresh every 3 hours

If you are not liking the limited selection in the stores, check back in 3 hours. All store items refresh every three hours. As Yori’s, Rosemary and Dawn have different opening times, the refresh rate are different. 

Next, don’t feel pressure to purchase the furniture item if you are undecided about it or do not have enough carrots for them. The same furniture will appear eventually.

Get the Yoga Mat, Glues and Wires

To trigger some events, certain items are needed. One of them is the Yoga Mat. The glues and wires are needed for future events so stock up on those too.

Invest in Smaller Items First

Unlock more Parsnaps by purchasing smaller items from the second floor of Yori’s. These items are cheaper and it can unlock certain events and cute actions. 

Other Tips:

Hold the Phone Down for Shortcuts

A quick way to access the map, punchcard and Parsnap is to hold down the phone icon and slide your finger to whichever you are trying to access.

Tsuki’s Odyssey is A Slow and Casual Game

Take note that Tsuki’s Odyssey is a slow and casual game which you don’t need to commit to hours on end. The game is made for players to check in every now and then. 

Although you can bring Tsuki from place to place and decorate its home, Tsuki is not your pet which obey to your every command. You as a player is there to observe his actions and interact with the other characters.
