So instead of Germaine having to take the form of a "stranger" like I thought before, he really takes a physical form based on the person that sees him. How they feel about him.
I wonder exactly how he looks to Tsubaki's eyes when he shows up. I wonder what "mentor" or "savior" or whatever Tsubaki thinks of him gets shown as.
...And I'm sure that Mahiru has seen through him a little bit thanks to Kuro's memories. The way he cried digging up Adam from his early grave. I wonder what he'll look like to him? Something completely different and perhaps more accurate to Germaine himself. "A grieving man", may be how Mahiru sees him, how he understands him as.
Also, on another note that I'd been meaning to write before... Will anybody really be able to remember the ritual when all is said and done?
There have been two points that make me believe that the only proper documentation of the rituals that have been done by him are written by the Count himself, stored in C3's archives under heavy protection. The only reason others know more than eight rituals have been done. As we've seen in an earlier chapter, Lawless witnessed Ildio's ritual. He was there and watched it all go down but a bit earlier than that there was a panel in which the question of "How did he do it" was brought up to Lawless, in which his response was more or less "I don't know and I don't care, leave me alone."
I believe that the ritual can only be remembered by the caster and the victim.
And yes, I know the victim is usually dead for this but I have a reason for saying that:
Simply, Touma and Tsurugi.
Touma has tried to recreate Germaine's rituals to turn Tsurugi into a Servamp he could control. He failed. Tsurugi woke up surrounded by the bodies of those he killed, people who were also helping in the experiment and Touma has said that "Even those who were watching from a distence, their memories were unnaturally erased." Only Tsurugi and Touma remember the ritual being done at all, everyone who knows about it after having to learn through the reports.
It makes me wonder just how many rituals Germaine has done. How many people have seen him in different, personalized forms, how many bodies he's failed to resurect and how many in-canon historical disasters covered up by his memory-altering spell were really him.
I'm extremely excited to see him again. (And somewhat more excited to see Lily cut him away from the vessel he ends up choosing. I do not think it will be Tsurugi though.)

INTO THE GAME
I don't know how to start this, and with that in mind, I'll just be frank and get right into the point—
Servamp, but it's in a universe where the Servamps and Eves, apart from Mahiru because of plot purposes, are characters in a Doki Doki Literature Club styled visual novel entitled "Come Join the Club!"
I've had this idea stored in my drafts for far too long, and I'm convinced I'll never actually start writing it.
Honestly, it's disheartening.
I know I'll end up deleting it at this point. I truly just lack the motivation and I know I'll come to regret it; trust me, it's from experience.
So, as some kind of a band-aid fix, I'll share it here, just so I can have the satisfaction of knowing that it'll finally be free from the confines of my mind.
Anyway, please do enjoy this amalgamation!
The overall summary is like this in a nutshell: Mahiru tried playing the game, but before he could start with the second phase of the gameplay, plot happens and Mahiru transmigrated into the game.
I know it's vague, so let me try to explain it some more—
In this universe, "Come Join the Club!" is the newest gaming sensation in the country. It's marketed as some kind of a typical multiple choice interactive game where the player has to befriend a colorful cast of characters; which are the 8 Servamps and the 6 Eves.
While the game itself is intriguing, what catapulted it to eminent fame was the so-called 'Phase 2' of the gameplay.
Before that, let me first throw in some info-dumping—ahem, allow me to explain what 'Phase 1' is first.
This phase serves as the player's introduction to the game, particularly focusing on the characters.
It's the section where the characters' personalities are elaborated upon, and while their backstories remain somewhat superficial, they are fleshed out enough for the player to engage with.
Think of it as more of a 'get to know each other' kind of thing, I guess.
Phase 2 begins at the end of phase 1.
In the structure of my non-existent story, phase 1 closes its narrative with a bonding activity I call 'Carnival Fun Times'.
(What a creative name, isn't it? Yes, I know it's terrible)
I'll keep it short—as the title suggests, it's basically a bonding activity. More specifically, it focuses on the reconciliation of the Servamp siblings with the help of the player.
I won't talk in detail about their pasts and the big fallout they have because I haven't really had the chance to flesh it out yet. But something did happen, so I guess I'll just leave it up to your interpretation?
Yeah...
Anyway, some excerpts from phase 1 cause why not?—
Here's a bit of background information to help you understand the scene a little bit better.
Everyone is touring through various carnival games, and there's this one stall that caught Kuro's interest. It's a shooting game with the objective of hitting black cats made of cardboard so that a prize can be won.
Kuro played the game and won a giant black lion.
And Tsubaki kind of goes like this: "You sure took quite a shot. You've been dying to try it for years, right? Ehhh, isn't that interesting?"
"I guess I was a little curious," says Kuro as he nuzzles his face into the lion's furry mane.
After that, they went home.
"And then, the subsequent phase will commence," says Syuhei Tsuyuki, one of the main developers of the game, says in an interview.
"While it remains a multiple-choice game in its core, the modifications are significant enough to transform it into a completely different experience."
"As an early warning, please be advised that this phase is particularly... disturbing, for a lack of a better word, and may not be suitable for everyone."
Phase 2 starts with a warning screen: "This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed"
The narrative begins with people searching for Jeje's gun. He has forgotten where he left it and is now retracing his steps in order to find it.
Tsubaki says something about seeing it back at home, however, before Jeje could make the choice of going back, he was urgently needed elsewhere.
Because the plot demanded it, the player was forced to go to the Servamp siblings' home.
Kuro was believed to be left home alone because he said he wasn't feeling well, but he isn't answering his phone.
And I don't know if you already realized it but—
Example excerpt continuing the scene from above:
The late afternoon sun cast long, slanting shadows across the small, somehow claustrophobic walls of an empty home devoid of any artificial lighting.
The heavy scent of blooming chrysanthemums wafted through the open window. It's usually faint, however, for some reason, they seem quite overwhelming today.
"Kuro?" I call in the silence.
There's no response.
There's dread gnawing at my insides and I'm truly expecting for the worst to come.
And boy, did it come. I don't think it's clear enough, but yes, Kuro unalived himself using Jeje's gun.
And cue Tsubaki filling the role of Monika where he's aware that this world is nothing more than a simulation—where nothing is real.
And you might be wondering, 'what about Mahiru?' and to that—I know. I kind of accidentally posted this while I was editing it in drafts. And it's currently 9:00 p.m. and I'm honestly tired. So I guess I'll just continue this tomorrow with a reblog.

For the Disney day of the event, I definitely spread the beloved topic around to all my fandoms! For Servamp, I decided to write about what the Servamp’s favourite Disney treats from specifically the Disney World park would be and I hope you’ll all enjoy the weirdly specific, but hopefully interesting, headcanons!
The Servamp’s favourite Disney Parks treats:
Kuro can’t pass up the popcorn carts and really loves Mickey pretzels. However, his absolute favourite treat exists in Disney Springs. He’s a huge cola fan so it’s no surprise that he definitely considers the ‘Tastes Around the World’ international tray from the Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar a must during every Disney trip.
Hugh is actually a really huge fan of pineapple flavours so he can’t help loving Dole Whip. While just the Dole Whip is fine, his favourite treat are the Dole Whip floats, especially when they have the specialty orange flavoured ones since orange soda is his favourite among the soda types and to have it topped with delicious Dole Whip? Heavenly.
Jeje’s favourite Disney treat is only available seasonally, around the autumn and Halloween season. He’s a bit of a basic bitch in how much he enjoys pumpkin anything and especially pumpkin spice anything. Rosie’s All-American Café in Hollywood Studios does a pumpkin bread tiramisu around that time that Jeje absolutely thinks is one of the most delicious things on earth.
Freya has grown to really love the taste of apples, and while there’s a lot of delicious foods available at the parks, her favourite treat is a drink. She really love LeFou’s Brew, especially in the souvenir glasses. She definitely has multiples of those cups.  For those unaware, LeFou’s Brew is just a frozen apple slushie with marshmallow flavoring and a passion fruit-mango foam.
Lawless likes a lot of the Disney treats. Most of them are served in some over-the-top presentation and that really appeals to him. In terms of taste though, he’s a big fan of the Cheeseburger Pods served at Satu’li Canteen in the Animal Kingdom.
Ildio can really get behind those massive turkey legs served at all the Disney parks. It’s a little disturbing just how many of them he can eat in a row. His siblings have clocked it and it’s sixteen. Sixteen of them in a row and he said he was still hungry, but they’d all run out of money.
Lily is a huge fan of Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie in EPCOT. It’s a must on any trip to Disney. He always gets coffee as a drink and likes to try out the different bakery treats. His favourite from them though is their macarons, especially their Macaron Lime Raspberry.
Tsubaki likes to try all of the different treats and foods you can only get at Disney World. He finds a lot of them tasty, yeah, but he’s never been able to settle on a favourite. However, Disney World recently released a treat that he tried, and it became his favourite right away. The new Everest Cupcake from Animal Kingdom just fully won his heart over.

Tsubaki appreciation post.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This man is so heavily under rated in terms of being a husbando, a yandere or just a character in general that I cannot verbally express how much it pains me. HE'S UNHINGED; a dom that you would NEVER suspect at first glance- I MEAN HE LITERALLY STEPS ON FREAKING KURO his older brother and the strongest among them and IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN KILL A SERVAMP. Let alone the fact that this man weilds a KATANA as his weapon! And that's not even STARTING on how he would literally be SO FREAKING DOTING WITH HIS S/O! Or the fact that he's also a sweet dork sometimes who just likes spending time with those he considers his family and those who are precious to him. This man just deserves all the hugs and WAY more attention and yet it just feels like...He's just been left on the wayside. Also again!

AND OMG TSUBAKI!?!?!?!?!?
Details I saw:
He looks like he's bout to kill somebody
His face shows pure hatred or frustration?
Both of his arms are now black.
The black thingy seems to be spreading all over his body, Maybe its due to collecting too much jinns??
AHHH I CANT WAIT TO SEE MORREE!!

Tsubaki grabs the curse medallion and no one even notices that something is wrong, they just think Tsubaki thought of something funny again
Later, at the temple.....
"Will you bear my curse so I can move on?"
Tsubaki: There was a curse???? What curse???

Another reason Tsubaki and Mahiru are alike: they're both waiting for the saviors they love and look up to to come home to them while their savior's hearts are taken by another, thus never giving them the love they need send tweet

For day 16 of the prompt, I used the word ‘red’ from prompt 1 for Tsubaki and Berukia from Servamp! I hope you all enjoy the headcanons, my loves 😊
Tumblr media
Red: Five facts about my best friend
While Tsubaki considers all of his subclass as friends, as his precious family, he does consider Berukia as his best friend. Berukia is the one who is not only most able to adapt to all of Tsubaki’s moods and his changing nature, but the one who is most able to keep up with him energy wise and amuse him the most.
Berukia was the first of the Tsubaki’s subclass to call him ‘Tsuba-kun’ and though it’s caught on with some of the other subclasses, Berukia was the one to start it. Tsubaki might pretend to dislike it at times, but it actually meant a lot to him, as it was the first nickname that didn’t put him on a pedestal, a nickname for an equal friend.
Tsubaki really enjoys how open and honest about everything Berukia is. Berukia can lie, yeah, but he’s not great at it and with Tsubaki, Berukia doesn’t bother to lie or hide anything. He’s always openly and honestly himself with Tsubaki and it’s relaxing in a way because Tsubaki never has to guess at what Berukia wants, needs, feels, or thinks.
Berukia hates those conveyor sushi restaurants that Tsubaki so loves. He liked it the first time, but the novelty soon wore off. Tsubaki knows this but still drags Berukia to them and Berukia always goes because hey, it means he gets to spend time with Tsubaki.
When Tsubaki gets really depressed, Berukia always tries to cheer him up with simple, human magic tricks. Berukia’s actually really good at it and the ones that rely on illusion will normally entertain and intrigue Tsubaki enough to snap him out of whatever funk he’d fallen into.
