Player, Narrator and Stanley decided to make a truce for once to enjoy the lovely light show. Wanting to experience happiness altogether regardless of their past disagreements.

Neil is having a bad time (ignore his smile, he definitely disapproves of the Player and Protagonists shenanigans)

On the other side is an old OC of mine, the God of Despising, the opposite and reflection of Eros. Her duty is to break couples apart.

This is just some lore I wanna tell for my au lol. [J uses They/Them, Stanley uses He/Him, Narrator uses All]

Now J and Stanley have and always will be best friends. Both understand each other, but not out their own will.

Narrator created the Parable, including the workers themselves. This includes Stanley, J, Caz and many more. They purposely created J's and Stanley's friendship to be tethered together. She wanted them to be two peas in a pod. It sounds wonderful yes, but he didn't realize what that would cause them to separate them.

When Narrator started their story with Stanley, she didn't want J to be apart of it. But failed to realize that Stanley, needs J. Stanley was miserable, and would never listen or respond. So, Narrator gave Stanley J back.

Now J is confused, concerned, and upset. Caz is no where to be found and Stanley looks terrible. J at first listens to Narrator, Stanley following suite since he now has someone. But soon, J rebels and does their own thing.

Now Narrator is more interested in J now by this point. They love Stanley but J has more concept than she originally realize. So he takes Stanley out and leaves J. All alone, without Stanley. J breaks down. From all the distress that Narrator has put them through already, this was the breaking point for them.

J isn't listening, they aren't even moving. The last thing they did was move themselves to the zen room. The colors were the last comforting they had left in this shit hole. Narrator kept trying everything to get them do something, anything. Insults, harming them, threats, praise, tears, compliments. Nothing worked!

Finally, she gave them Stanley back. But, he's different now. Stanley doesn't remember anything before the office. He's confused why Jax is crying, didn't he just see them? And where is Caz?

Narrator will realize that both are attached to each other. One cannot work without the other, and she uses this. He'll make them separate for different endings, causing distress to both. They'll threaten to take one or the other away for an unknown amount of time.

This cycle repeats, they never know a moment of peace besides the two of each other's company.

Maladaptive Daydreaming Paracosm version - Creator, ancient god that was waken up from it's slumber. As it's name suggest they created the Universe that the story of this Paracosm is happening.

And Tsp oc - Employee 727, idk if I made some lore for them before, but now they are just an Player that got somehow trapped in The Parable and observes everything from the shadows :3

TSP ramble: TK and the Narrator's relationship

@stelar-time was thinking about TK and The Narrator so I decided to make a small ramble about one of the ways I see their relationship

TL;DR Narry and TK might actually tolerate each other and have found a common enemy

The Narrator seems to look at everything in his Parable as his original creation. TK is no different, as we already have the admission from Davey himself that TK=432. But just like you change the lore of your OCs, the fact the games could be stretched for 10 years does show how much could have been changed in The Narrator's perception.

We meet TK in the form of The Settings Person but the way TK presents himself later - it seems the 432's travel beyond dimension gets him beyond the Narrator's reach too...Which is fair, as we never see the Narrator really interact with the menu- or...does he.

Bumpscosity. One small tiny gag but the implications of it are massive. Like sure - the Narrator and Cookie9 maybe forgot you can mute the Narrator in-menu, but Narry reacts to the level of Bumpscosity you set and has a full achievement for checking all the settings.

Now why would he know only that and not TK's existence? There is that issue of Narry not being omniscient and often showing he doesn't know shit (Broken achievement) but...he made the world of the Parable, possibly. He made all these NPCs and he, in some way, made Stanley, too.

So - why since TSPUD is overall a love letter to both Player and Stanley, let it be to Parable, too? To a representation of the most tormented OC yet? But now - the thing about Memory Zone is that it wasn't meant to be decay. It's what the name says - a sanctuary for memories.

Look *where* it is though. This part isn't in the original Memory Zone. There are reviews that weren't there before and that proves something - that the Narrator purposefully put them. And at the end, at the very end of the road - there it is.

The only room not covered in sand.

And yet somehow - this is the computer TK is in. It could have been any computer at all in the Parable but TK is there, waiting for you patiently, in the room best preserved, with its own light.

For me - the Narrator doesn't hate TK. Even if TK seems to resent him.

The Narrator knows he can't escape. He wants to move on yet - seeing how long he was in the Skip Button, I think he already tried everything. So, when he was waiting for us to return - that was plenty of time to get out of the bounds. To revisit old projects and make new ones.

But look at TK's lines in this part.

Did you read what the developers said?? "Preserve the integrity of the franchise"?! You see, that was the Narrator's problem. He was so obsessed with what people thought of his work. Don't make his mistake. Don't cling to the legacy. Let it burn.

He talks about the Narrator in the past tense. This can be seen as a critique but I think it can also be seen as a warning of something he and the Narrator talked about since the Narrator wanted to let go. He learnt from his mistake.

Why was Narry then so surprised about the broken achievement? He possibly worried about the devs being brought back. About him thinking he got everything in control by making new versions of the endings and already discussing it all behind the camera with TK and then leaving them

But that's just a theory. A shina-way-too-long-once-again-at-2-am-fuck-me-why-do-I-do-this-to-everyone theory.

The Stanley Parable Worldbuilding

How do you worldbuild for your TSP blog? Remember that these are all just guidelines NOT rules. You can change anything, twist things around, delete or add stuff to your heart's content!

Important Note: You do not have to know all of these things immediately. Take your time discovering who your muse is and the world around them, answers might come to you hours, days, weeks or months after you started roleplaying!

Who is your protagonist? If it's not Stanley, did they replace him or has Stanley ever existed to begin with? How did they end up here? How much do they know?

Who is your Narrator? Why do they narrate? Do they have a choice? Did they write the Parable? Are they the only Narrator? What is their relationship to the Protagonist?

What is your Story like? Is it the same Story as the Game? Is it a Game, a Story, a TV Show, a dream, a pocket reality? Does it have more or less endings than the original? Is it about Stanley? Is there a Story at all or did the Narrator stop telling it?

What is your Office like? Is it a normal Office? Does it restart people who have died? Does it wipe memories from its inhabitants? Does it have a Line™? Is it sentient? Does it open doors on its own or does the Narrator control everything? Is it like a video game or like a haunted house? Does the exit work? Can people leave whenever they want?

If you want, you can also go into more details such as

Do you have a second Narrator (female or otherwise)?

Is there someone controlling the Parable and the Narrator(s)?

If it's a game, are there developers? Players? An audience?

What happened to Employee 432?

What happened to the Protagonist's coworkers?

What is the driving force behind the Parable, if there is one at all? Does it demand to be told?

(Author's Notes: Despite the fact that Computer Head has no gender, the Narrator says that some man once worked here (in some dialogues and endings, he says that an unknown woman worked here), however, in one of the endings he admits he doesn't know Computer Head's gender..)

And here is my tsp oc

It is not known exactly who Computer Head was and what happened before The Stanley Parable event, but it is known that "they" was an employee (like Stanley), however, "they" never liked this work.At first glance, it seems that Computer Head is very friendly and cheerful, however, in some endings, "they" is very cruel and cunning (since Computer Head can deceive the player himself, using the Narrator's fake voice and lure him/her into a trap).Computer Head doesn't really like the Narrator (because they say he's the most unpleasant and boring character of all).Sometimes they like to play pranks on the Narrator (which he doesn't really like).As for Stanley, they are neutral towards him (and depending on the endings, Computer Head will either help him (as a best friend) or make fun of him)

Damien does have more personal beef towards the Player directly than Stanley alone. Not fond of their typical shenanigans to be a terrible influence to Stanley to rebel and detach himself from the game. Plus he just extremely jealous to the bond Player and Stanley had made through each playthrough.

The Narrator being bitter towards Player to even call them a parasite in a insulting manner. He always hated their desire for chaos. But at times they rarely cooperate whenever they have to put their differences aside.

haha no tumblr just decided i was and they’re relatable to me most of the time so i reblogged them. currently i am thinking of my utdr and tsp crossover. however!! i will not pass up this opportunity.

hmm… who should i talk about this time… *shuffles papers* ah, sure, Lotus

Lotus is a character who was just supposed to be Nox’s (from dimension jumper) mother. However, when I was consumed by Appetite of a People Pleaser, I decided to base her backstory on that and she is now going to be a part of Crystalshade.

Essentially, she got lost in the multiverse and met Iifu, who was recruiting people for his new world jumping group, the [name in progress]. He took advantage of her being at a lost and miserable place and wrapped her around his finger. She tries desperately to make everyone happy and loses both herself and her home world in the multiverse.

When the [name in progress] disbanded, she was lost for a while. Eventually, she landed in a world, and a man around her age, Grynn, was kind to her. They fell in love and on their honeymoon, she smashed her Crystalline (item that let her jump worlds) and made sure she could never put it back together. She wears it as a necklace, still, to remind herself of her past.

She can’t have kids, so she adopts Vivi and Nox with Grynn and they raise them together. Nox remembers the system more than Vivi and is cold to people he doesn’t know, but Vivi is sweet as she was a baby when she was adopted and doesn’t remember what happened before. A few years after that she meets the player of Dimension Jumper and after they leave she always wonders what came of them.

But she’s happy in this world, even if isn’t her home one.

(It is. She just doesn’t remember.)

26 — Character you’re most similar to: The MC from An Everyday Love. I too am stressed and want to become an author OTL Also “It’s too early in the morning to talk to attractive people” and “I will take my disappointing ass and leave...” and “Adorable/Adorable/Adorable” and PLAY AN EVERYDAY LOVE!!

27 — Create an OC!: Well I did create a game so I think that counts ;) I really like chaotic OCs so I’m looking forward to making content with more of those (and also ace ocs... all the ace ocs...)

28 — Fondest memory: There are too many small moments in each game to just pick one O.O I particularly love ~romantic tension~ and humour

29 — Yandere: I just can’t vibe with yanderes. It’s not my thing, and I’ll never write a character like that, but to each their own 

30 — Favourite game: Hmm well I did answer this with 17, but aside from indie games, even though Girlish Love Revolution is problematic (like so many otome games, let’s be real) and a stat-raiser (not really my thing), I found the protagonist really likeable & have a lot of nostalgia for it. I still need to play most of the big name otome games lol

31 — Favourite LI: 707 ♥ I love funny & sarcastic characters like Alistair, TFTBL Rhys, Garrus, and Geralt which is why I tend to prefer English games, as translating that humour can be difficult at times. Lord Laurence Amesbury from The Lady’s Choice, Bloomic’s xyx, Mr. Bandages from Halloween Otome, and Veris from Heroine for Hire are all top contenders as well.

And the ultimate question... if I were to play TSP as a totally non-biased player who would I pick... I think I’d be stuck between Flint & Lark. As much as I love Rico, he’s probably a little too passionate for me. I’m more about that low-key life B-)

He’d be the one swinging his arms whistling. he’s not one to just stand around.

30. What topics does your oc know the most about? Are these obvious or would these be surprising to others?

Survival skills and treating injuries. 

He’s done extensive research into brain injuries and the care required to take care for someone in that condition.

Herbology

31. What time of day is your oc most awake? What about most tired? Do they get up at the same time every morning without need of an alarm, or is their sleep schedule all over the place?

He doesn’t sleep much but he’s most awake at night and most tired in the morning. He sleeps as long as his dreams let him. Once he’s awake he won’t be able to go back to sleep so he may as well start his day.

32.What five ingredients would you throw into a cauldron to make a potion based on your oc? How would you cook/mix them? What would the potion do?

Ground Chameleon tail

1 lb Fresh Kelp

Tsp of Salt

Great white Shark’s tooth

1 cup Beach sand warmed from the setting sun

Cook kelp until it becomes slimy and slightly gelatinous. Add salt and ground chameleon tail bring to a boil.  Grind shark’s tooth to a fine powder add to mixture. Let simmer for an hour stirring occasionally. Add warmed beach sand, stir until well blended.  

The potion gives the ability to change one’s appearance at will. Effects will last for five hours unless reapplied. 

Warning. Consecutive use is not recommended. After the third time you will be stuck in the last appearance you changed into and will be unable to change back.

I'm honestly glad you liked my Narrator sona. I honestly got inspired from thinking a Alice in Wonderland scenario to make Damien human before spicing him as a half centipede and half man. But completely omnipotent to run his parable.

Okay now I'll ramble with my TSP of lore.

Player:

• Player is what control Stanley and is the response to create the choices throughout the parable. Player goes She/They/It. They're curious yet a bit rebellious towards Damien from being expected to follow the script.

• Often has the mischief mindset to screw the Narrator over. Even if they had tried to break the game.

• Capable to appear in a silhouette to be disguised as Stanley's shadow, but over time Narrator became aware of their existence from the aftermath of one the endings. Now having to permanently reveal themselves to Damien. Being the reason why Stanley grew more rebellious through each Parable.

• Player is emotionally vulnerable at times to let Damien take over in certain routes. Surely they simply shrugged whatever insult tossed to them specifically at their choices. Even they spoke up for Stanley most of the times.

Stanley:

• Stanley was previously a quiet man who doesn't stand up to himself. Often listen to whatever instructions he has but order to follow. Rarely socialize to anyone before the office became empty. Mostly introverted to not bother himself with socializing. But with Player, he grew to become more vocal and bolder by the passing playthrough. Developing not just a bond, but his character growing throughout each experience.

• Stanley doesn't see Narrator eye to eye much when Player because involved. Being blamed on choices that weren't his control to begin with. He wasn't happy on the Apartment ending that he never had a wife or a relationship at all. Even if it was a harmless joke from Damien, it just rubbed him the wrong way for not having a potential and meaningful relationship.

• Stanley nationality is Welsh. His accent being more clear that people mistaken him as American. His most comedically phases would be "Mate, when did I piss in your bloody cereal?" Or "You sure this isn't the time for you being a twat, Damien?"

Damien/Narrator:

• Damien can manipulate his size to shrink and grow. He only grows in size to display his authority over anyone. But he does shrink whenever he is scared or caught off guard.

• His antennae does flutter whenever he's happy or having a moment of praise. He does have yellow arrows tattooed on his upper body, but it's covered by his blouse. Regardless of his size, he is extremely fast to catch up due to his centipede legs. Capable to rush over like a bullet train even if he struggled a little during tight turns. Damien does change his appearance from his usual omnipotence form to humanoid or pure centipede.

• Often been bullied by Player since he does slander Stanley for his own amusement. But it has been a harmless gag within the three.

• He actually enjoys playing Minecraft and Portal during his free time. Damien often play Minecraft in Peaceful mode to enjoy the experience. Has experienced since the Beta Era of Minecraft.

• Lonely yet is actually desperate for company to keep Stanley. Although knowing Player would log off from the game, leaving the Narrator having the chance to talk with him. The Narrator honestly doesn't like to admit that he can be a little clingy towards Stanley.

Their Dynamic:

• Surely they're not the most functional trio, but it's only through each playthrough or route that shed their moments little by little. Player not often trusting Damien to suspect it's just a trick to focus on the main route countless times. Stanley having to expose himself to trust Player's judgement on their choices, even if it resulted his death or worse. Damien needed to understand the Player's purpose to explore and uncover new routes to proceed the game. Each has their own flaws, only time will tell on who is willing to reveal their vulnerable side first.
