not directly related to tsp, but i was thinking about how "normal" things feel when your anxiety is all ramped-up, and it occurred to me that maybe stanley doesn't really like buttons all that much? maybe the narrator is just being mean, or wishes stanley liked them, even though he doesn't?

sounds like him anyway lol.

(*i wasn't even going to do the controller because games as a concept seemed too much fun to draw like this, but someone i'm fond of likes the controller in the 8 room and asked for something like it aaand now it's my favourite lol.)

now, people are free to think whatever they like, i won't tell them that they're wrong, but i'm not sure i entirely agree with the idea that 432 is responsible for the skip button ending happening the way that it did,

rather... i think, quite literally, that they had no hand in it.

huge project from 2022ish that took over a year to finish!

I was honestly expecting The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe to stay in development hell forever but when it came out I fell in love instantly. the original game was one of the first video games I'd ever heard of/watched a gameplay of online so it felt so so awesome to witness the release of its follow-up and experience it as a player this time!

had to make something to pour out my love for this game and I decided on depicting some of my favorite moments in 3D! never made something like this before so I severely underestimated how long it would take, haha (all of the layers in this were cut out by hand with an x-acto knife).

Hi hi so this super cool human person called @voidsnarrator posted a *beautiful* story and this scene of the narrator waking up in the post-skip button ending was too haunting not to recreate.

The static and sand and the broken hopelessness is just 👌👌👌 I loved it. Brilliant work. I hope I did it justice
