The date was going so well! But, before she could even react, he had transformed into a beast. How unsightly! And, most importantly, how painful. The transformation process hadn't looked nice in the slightest. Tski could tell he was embarrassed, as he promptly left the date without a further word.

The phrase "modern music recs" has lead us to check our music library and discover that apparently like half of the songs we consider "new" are actually from like ten years ago and we're just skewed in perspective because they were new when we first listened to 'em.
#and also all of our music taste needs to come with a grain of salt the size of jupiter#though that one's mostly just an Us Thing because we're a fan of songs that flavor blast our ears#“this song is pretty new we think- oh right its from 2014 we forgot that was nine years ago”#(repeat with roughly 90% of our collection)#we speak#...for further context on music taste we got recommended 100 gecs a bit back and the person recommending them was bang on#which we feel is some sort of like. extremely telling phrase but we have no fucking idea as to what popular music is like these days#bc last time we tried to listen to something popular we listened to mi tski for like three minutes and did not like it#(artist name censored here bc we don't wanna be an ass and show up in people's tags where they actually enjoy her music)#its music and you listen to it. unfortunately some of it sucks but thankfully some of it sucks in a way that we like#we know like three band names total and for half of those names its bc they got recommended to us#and for one of them its insane clown posse and for one of them its caravan palace which we're aware of half bc of their music videos#lone digger irreversibly altered our brain chemistry we're afraid

i spent like 20-25 min getting ready 2 leave the house n go 2 goodwill 2day only 2 see my body in the bathroom mirror, immediately hate myself, talk myself out of going 2 the store, n proceed 2 sit back down n put on m!tski music while feeling depressed n overwhelmed instead ghsdnm
