headcanons for the celestial family in svens au because i started thinking and couldn't stop:

sun, moon & earth were all made to be equals. moon had his intellect, sun had his magic, and earth had her compassion (and she's good with IT :] feel the need to include that since she's learning it in canon and !!!!!!!)

mercury & earth have tea parties together :] sun usually helps them with the baking for it - sometimes joining in

moon, mars & mercury regularly prank the other siblings. they have prank wars on each other. saturn gets caught in the crossfire a lot-

actually speaking of saturn, i imagine they'd really like jewelry. yes this is solely because saturn has rings but hush i like it

neptune is just the chillest dude ever. they got very little problems and is usually the one to calm everyone down during a stressful event

sven's the type of dad to send a really outdated meme to the family groupchat and laugh about it. neptune eggs him on. the other siblings hate them for it

jupiter's the tallest cause. yknow.

jupiter regularly makes fun of suns height because sun always talks about how he should be the tallest since he's the sun - which is the biggest thing in the solar system.

eclipse was either not that big of a problem or /was/ a problem until his redemption arc (also i'd like to imagine he was sort of a failed creation by moon by using his own code to make another animatronic???)

earth and eclipse are besties in this universe too. anyone else & he hisses like a feral cat. i accept zero criticism.

jupiter & saturn are best friends as well and idk how to explain my reasoning for this they just are

i'd like to imagine venus is very like. flirty?? charming?? mainly because of venus from roman mythology. they're also the most hot-headed because. planet temperature yknow

Okay sorry I had 2 this ep 10/10 everything was amazing I love how the family handled it because it’s true sun, moon and solar cannot afford to have a loose cannon anymore not when they have kids in the house.

They’re not over looking what Lunar said to Moon good.

I’m glad their leaving this decision up to Earth when she wakes up because girl did not deserve this like wtf is this supposed to teach Earth: when you commutate your feels and problems you get dark stared in the chest wtf.

Also glad Lunar didn’t fight and accepted it cas I think we all would have thrown hands if he did. Aww and his promise to get himself under control omg.

Oh god not thanksgiving talks that’s gonna be awkward is Lunar’s not there. Monopoly is not a good idea 😂😂.

I think it's very funny that people get mad Kidscove shippers exist and cite the show making fun of it as a reason why they shouldn't exist. As if the show has never made fun of and even seriously shut down prospects of the Celestials being a big happy family with a redeemed Eclipse/Bloodmoon or hell just Dadcode in general, yet people eat that up every time lmao

Man, I've been talking about ships a lot so I'm gonna take a moment and appreciate the family because I love the family they mean everything to me and are the reason I stick around for canon even when I have a headache from it.

Eclipse and Lunar? Even if Eclipse doesn't want to be/isn't comfortable with being family anymore (and vice versa with Lunar), I hope that one day they fix their relationship enough to at least be friends. I know they've done a game play together with Earth recently (I watched it) and it was so nice to see them laughing together. Even if they can never really be brothers again, not in a way that would be healthy for either of them, I hope they can be friends.

Solar and Nexus? They were best friends your honor. He was Nexus's only real friend, and his emotional support person because Sun pushed him away to the point he wasn't comfortable turning to Sun. He was tired of being treated like Old Moon and Solar never knew old Moon, so he couldn't treat him like him. Solar knew him for him, and that's why Nexus wanted to be his brother so badly.

Sun and Nexus? Sun is trying, and he's been trying, but he's so tired and broken that it's hard to put in effort to develop new relationships and he's really just isolated himself from the entire family in his apathy. But Nexus loves him, and has kept trying to be his brother, the brother he thinks Sun wants without realizing that Sun doesn't want him to be like Old Moon. Sun didn't even want him at all, to start with, but Sun's trying because he wants to love his new baby brother and treat him the way he wished Moon treated him. And I hope they also fix their relationship, and Sun can explain these things to him, and Nexus can explain feeling pariahed by Sun and they can be happy (with Old Moon in the picture too).

Speaking of Old Moon I want them to have the happy ending they deserve. Sun and Moon and their little brother Nexus and Lunar and their sister Earth and maybe even their estranged cousin/brother Solar. It's not the ending they thought they would end up with but it's one that would literally fix me. They're together, and they're a family, and they're happy. And Eclipse is a family friend, and Ruin's paid his dues, and they don't have any massive threats anymore and they can just relax and learn what everyone is actually like, instead of what they assumed or wanted them to be like.

This could LITERALLY also turn into the classic situation of, like. "enemies forced to work together to a mutual goal which slowly sets off a chain of events that leads to their friendship." Even if it doesn't go that way, this means we'll probably see Eclipse interacting with the main cast more which is huge to me!!!!

I am both so relieved and so thrilled it went down the path, hooray for tentative and strained truces <3

okay so solar's dead in cannon but yknow what guess what i will NOT be emotionally shattered by this i REFUSE to be emotionally shattered by this and so in response to this i need to properly explain my dentist au because honestly that one's just for the sake of fixing the show but uh

yea so solar does actually exist in the dentist au-he only shows up at Eclipse's place when he has to pick up or drop off Lunar cuz the others are too busy to do it. He and Eclipse are veeeery cold towards each other, something Lunar is trying to mend by showin up more and more at the place in hopes of Solar understanding the situation. This one time he drops lunar off and leaves and one of Eclipse's neighbors mistakes him for Eclipse- and ofc as all Eclipses do for some reason instead of actually explaining that he's not Eclipse and is i dunno his relative or smthn he pretends to be Eclipse. Which means he's now nodding along and pretending he knows why on earth they're associating him with a dentistry (when did Eclipse get a medical degree???) and it's from this that he learns that surprise surprise! Eclipse has somehow managed to get people to like him! And they're not even evil people either!

Anyways this gets Solar to basically go 'well if the old lady next door isn't fearing the active threat to her life and instead making it cookies then i guess it can't be ALL bad' and so he ends up being a little more respectful (barely so) and lets lunar go more often, seeing as he's completely okay with it.

Eclipse is pretty baffled by this entire thing, but he tries to maintain the cold persona-he wants to scare Solar off because he's secretly afraid that his neighbors and everyone else (Lunar especially, though he will never admit it) will like Solar more than him. He does eventually realize that the people he cares about aren't gonna just up and leave him and they manage to develop a better relationship. though it's still a little tense, it's not outright hostile, something lunar heavily appreciates.

(Also when Lunar isn't dropped off by Solar and doesn't stop by on his own accord, Earth takes him-which has resulted in strange interactions with his neighbors as well. She accidentally knocked on the wrong door and ended up making friends with Alma, the old lady next door, and her own opinion on Eclipse increased after hearing the lady go on about how sweet of a boy he is and how he's always offering to fix her pipes for her...when earth gets back to the daycare and moon and sun ask her about how it went, she tells them this-eclipse doesn't know how lucky he is that he hasn't seen moon yet or else this would be held over his head for all eternity.)

Sven is kinda like Solar. The way he apologized to Sun and Moon for their Creator's actions like Solar did with Lunar

He is one of the "what if" characters that I hope and pray will be part of the main story line. Please keep him in, I beg

Figured this is a good time to remind people of canon since a couple friends sent me these clips. Featured post.

Anyway, I'm bringing this up because I'm seeing a lot of people saying that Eclipse is canonically part of the celestial family when he's explicitly asked to not be included in the family. He's not "Sun and Moon's brother" (And I'm saying TSAMS Sun and Moon, not EAPS). He literally left the dimension so they could have Solar back because that's their family. Not him.
