Meet the two arch enemies of Crescent and SolarFlare

Alt Eclipse look. The poncho is based on the shirt Ballora gave him in EAPS. Under his mask, he's missing an eye after a fight with SolarFlare and Crescent, where Sun destroyed his eye in the fight, and he's never been able to repair it.

His mask, which is heavily inspired by Slade/Deathstroke's mask, has hooks on it to hang off his rays.

His boots are black, red, and gold and have a little eclipsed sun symbol on them.

Jester may not be as lethal as the Joker in the comics

(Ruin here takes more of after Ceasar Romaro's Joker from the Adam West Batman show. He's a prankster, not a killer)

But that doesn't mean Ruin/Jester isn't packing some heat. He has special X-ray glasses that allow him to see through walls so Crescent and the others can't sneak up on him, and he also has a cannon gun that can shoot confetti or actually cannon balls.

He's also packing a non-lethal joybuzzer that, while shocking, just renders the opponent unconscious for a while. It causes a system restart.

I'm really loving this au and will continue to make more for it. I already have a few ideas for the other heroes and villains in this batfam au.

I do plan on making Ruin become Two-face as the story progresses but for now he's the Joker.

Let's just say it will be sad when he turns into Two-face. That's gonna be a lot of people's darkest days when that happens

2004s The Batman Joker. I love the straight jacket suit he's got going on.

Ruin's suit colors are orange, green, and purple, while Eclipse's dark red, black, and gold

It All Started On A Cold Winter Morning by Varmint

When he had first opened his door up on the cold morning, he certainly had not been expecting a blast from the past; much less had he expected to find himself wrapped up into the familial drama of a bunch of people he had no real ties to half a country away. That story in which events are set into motion unexpectedly and when the Batfamily figures out about Bruce's budding feelings for a handsome cowboy, they force everything into high-gear.

Not technically Duke-centric but he is the main focus of the first chapter. Also it isn't complete & a rare pair of Bruce x Greg Saunders, actually really cool.

As you can tell I was very anxious for someone to ask for Duke Thomas recs. He is our sunshine boy & he deserves to be appreciated.

Absolutely wild to me how people will write Duke out of stories and give bits of his character to other members of the Batfamily. I've seen this happen the MOST with Tim. And it's not a crime to write a fic without Duke in it— not every piece of writing needs every member of the Batfamily in it— but come on. Sometimes it's so painfully obvious that authors are only excluding him.

His colors are the same as Lunar's but with a lot more gold and white tossed in. (I seriously need to start coloring these guys in)

Moondrop A.K.A Crescent

(Moon + Batman)

Sorry for the bad lightning and if the camera angles are poo worthy but anyways he's Crescent's design I drew up a few months back.

-weapons of choice Star/Moon-a-rangs (Basically star and moon shaped batarangs) and bell bombs, the bells that are actually bombs.

-Has loose tassles that he used to swing with like they're a grappling hook.

-Cape lightweight yet durable and can be used to glide (Makes a crescent moon shape when in glide mode)

-His gloves are made of a durable plastic/metal hybrid that can take a few hits and still protect everything inside, plus they have a built-in moon-a-rang gun that fires moon/star-a-rangs in a pinch

-Colors of the suit would be dark blue, gold, and purple, with some grey thrown in there to for good measure.

I will make designs for everyone else. That might take a bit, though. See you then, and I hope you all had a Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ✝️ and a happy holidays, too.

The Birth of Cresent

Moondrop or 'Wane Moon' (<-The alias he took once he left the Sven's side)

Was built to be the son/apprentice to the mysterious Owlghul, a fearsome criminal mastermind who wished to quote on quote 'Fix the world' Owlghul built Moon with the specific purpose of being the bringer of his not-so righteous fury. Moon was trained in all forms of combat, battle tactics, escape, detective skills, and many other skills. Moon was the ultimate killing machine and was ready to fix the world. However, he had just ONE flaw... He didn't like to kill. Which is a problem when your sole purpose is to kill all who stand in your masters way of peace.

At first, Moon blamed his brother/other half Sunrise, the more calmer, the gentle side of Moon that Moon despised, but over time, Moon came to realize it wasn't a problem with Sun it was himself. Something in HIMSELF just wouldn't let him kill. Moon began to dig deep in himself (literally) and realized it wasn't a flaw in his code, but in his morals, something just didn't feel right about killing... or Owlghul's plan. After some digging, Moon discovered the horrific truth... Owlghul wasn't plotting to 'Fix the world' he was plotting to destroy it! Burn it all down and replace it with one in his image!

Moon and Sun, of course, were against this, but they had to play it smart so as not to let the Creator know their plan to stop him. Unfortunately, he learned about their plan to stop him. A great battle issued and in the fight Moon mortally wounded Creator nearly killing him, he almost did, but Sun thankfully (or unthankfully) stopped him. Moon and Sun destroyed Owl's lab and escaped, feeling into the night and starting new lives in completely different town countries away.

Sun and Moon stayed in hiding for years till something in Moon kept poking at him, telling him to go out and actually help people the right way, unlike how Owlghul had them 'helping' people. Moon tried to fight against this sense, but at the end of the day he decided to give in and become the hero he was always meant to be.

Crescent, the watchful guardian, the Crescent crusader, the moonlight vigilant, the true dark knight!
