CK's Mustang Template (v.1.1)

Notes:

Created via overlaying reference pictures and WIP CAS shots, so the conformation is as close as possible within Sims 4 & slider capabilities

UPDATE (19/10/24): Contains two versions! One at the default EA horse height, and one adjusted to be ~15hh as per PW&Walnut Hill's height slider.

I've done my best to ensure that this template doesn't clip with any of SchrodCat's Western saddles, but there might be a little bit of clipping somewhere

May clip with Schrodcat's Dressage/Round/Square Pads

Optionally, you can add Walnut Hill's Sloped Croup overlay for that slanted bum look

Has a slight cleft lip, which is unfortunately not fixable until Morphmaker is updated

that first touch had seemed to be the big breakthrough. the next couple weeks seemed to fly by and while progress was slower than lot had been expecting, it was consistent. defeating the big scary tarp, working through having the rope bridle put on her for the first time, her first very basic lunge. the mare hadn't been took keen about the farrier but she'd mostly stood still through getting her really combed out, a wee tidy of the mane that had started to really grow out, and given a proper bath to help shed the last of her thick coat. lot hadn't properly sat on her quite yet though they were getting there. but she was more than confident that the bond had really been established now, the mare while still a bit skittish, seemed to be happily seeking her out. following her around the property and very content to be lead or ponied around. she was a smart girl and seemed more than eager to work with lot once she'd worked out what was being asked of her.

We just got these 2 in for training at Serendipity Equines.

The Arabian will be trained for Endurance and the QH/Mustang will be trained for Barrel Racing.

We are so excited to see their progress.

Rare leopard gene Mustang, loved this one! And I'm planning on revising the coats as I go or doing different variations slowly (it takes a while to paint these even with the help of amazing custom content creators). (@kebbe-sims @maeveywaevey @objuct @minervamagicka)

Wild Blue is a book that features a blue roan appaloosa mustang. She goes on an incredible journey to find her way home. I have such fond memories of staying up late when I was little during a power outage and reading this cover to cover by candlelight at my grandma's house. I did my best to replicate Blue, but overall I think I let my imagination take over of what I pictured her like in my head when I was little - but I was able to resist giving her a bunch of socks and stripes. She should have an undercoat color that can be changed in cas should any of you want to breed or customize her :D
