💬 EIGHTEEN (18) Deformer Maps that control the shape of our bodies were broken with Update 7/23/2024, resulting in our spines deforming horribly.

💬 All sims aged TEEN through ELDER are affected by this but you will only see it under certain circumstances:

The deformities are not visible when wearing Frame-appropriate clothing.

Cisframe sims will see it when wearing clothing that was made for the opposite Physical Frame.

Transframe sims will see it when nude or wearing "default" underwear and also when wearing clothing that was made for the opposite Physical Frame.

Castor Body Hair Updated (+ More Swatches)

I always use "Castor Body Hair," but after the Body Hair update in the game, I wanted the body hair I use to integrate more seamlessly with the game mechanics. Therefore, I updated some of my favorite options by separating the parts and adding more swatches. I also created some new options, like "Armpit Only." Maybe in the future, I'll update all the options Castor created. All credit goes to the original creator, @castorsims.

I made some changes to Mae's home. I did like the way it was decorated before, but it did not feel like it belonged to her. It feels more vibrant and inviting now. She's always kept surfaces pretty cluttered, so I added more of that too. Also, I took these in build mode, and it reminded me of how much I prefer the base game lighting over Seasons. The only thing I like about Seasons is thunderstorms, but since the weather is broken, I turned all of it off.

Here's your friendly warning to backup all your CC, Saves, Tray Files… well, your entire Electronics Arts folder really. The update coming tomorrow will be big.

Seriously, with how bad For Rent was in terms of corrupting saves and lots that people have been building for years, I just wouldn't play your most important saves with the new patch for a few weeks until the community confirms what's broken. This goes for people playing without CC too. The last few updates have caused bugs that affect the game at its core, and simply removing your CC will not fix it.
