Sometimes I go trawling through house-hunting websites looking for houses for my characters to live in and then I decide to recreate those houses in TS4 based on their listings. Is it reasonable to decide to make things just to fit into these builds? No. Did I do it anyway? Yes.

The Bishop's Rest is a dining chair that looks like it should be an arm chair. Named for the Bishop's Avenue, a posh street in Hampstead where the house I'm building is found, it fits neatly into the kitchen.

The Bishop's Rest comes in 25 swatches and is Base Game Compatible. Most of the colors were chosen to match the "Squarely There" base game items, with a few extra blues and a green thrown in. As such there should be decent mix-and-match compatibility with other base game items.

For some small tweaks TwistedMexi’s T.O.O.L. mod was used, but you don’t need the mod in your game for this to show up the way I built it.

Known issue: While I was playtesting, my sim sometimes couldn't wash any dishes in the kitchen sink. Any other interactions with the sink would work without problems though (like taking a glass of water or washing their hands). Deleting the lamp above the sink seems to be the easiest way to fix this. Alternatively, you'd just have to drag the dishes into the sink manually. Sorry for this inconvenice, everything else should work fine though.

(I know I could have swapped out the lamp right away before uploading the build, but the whole issue was somewhat confusing (as I sometimes got the sink to function without having to delete the lamp, so I wasn't sure what was actually causing the issue). I'm also trying to explain it in the video, but yeah, at some point I just gave up and left the lamp where it was... Sorry again...)

More things EA does that baffle me: they like locking mirrors to one height and they mainly make small mirrors. Either the mirrors are like medicine cabinets, or they're long and rectangular. There aren't many which cover a dual sink without seeming terribly small, and so I've gone to the trouble of making this. It's a fairly plain mirror, but it works in a lot of places.
