Severinka Milla Kidsroom - 4t3 conversion

Okay, apparently Severinka's TOU got laxer and now only forbids frankenmeshing and selling her meshes for other games as far as I understood, which, fine, super fair. Also, 4t2 conversions of her stuff already run rampant in TS2 Simblr (hell, even 3t2 in ye olden days...), so if anything happens after this upload, someone really has a thing against me :P

Time to test the waters with this kid's room. Yeah, kids (and teen's) room, a category that I don't enjoy much, but this set is super pretty and matches an adult bedroom set I've already converted privately and I will make it public if everything goes right 8D

I didn't include the bed blanket and the other wall presets because they didn't look very good in TS3, sorry. Also, the decorative clouds (and they're that diaphanous) work as ceiling lights + what Severinka categorized as a coffee table, I categorized as an end table because it personally made more sense.

Everything is recolorable except the last rug preset. BGC. Wardrobe has slots, bookshelf has geostates (half-full and full are the same, though) but I forgot to clone from a bookshelf that had slots, so I owe you guys this one.

Bedframe is compatible with any single mattress, decor birdcage is in Misc > Decor, the rectangular ottoman only fits against the wall my pressing ALT no matter which kind of footprint magic I did.

EA Kelp as Edible Raw Meat for Vampires (Nona Dried Food Mod REQUIRED)

If you use the Nraas Hybrid mod to make mermaid-vampire sims, it's a headache getting them to eat a effing thing that's not plasma-based. So I took EA's Kelp mesh and slapped Nona's script on it, to make it "raw food" that can fill a vampire's Thirst need. (I HIGHLY recommend also using Nona's other raw foods--there's a nice juicy fish vamps can eat, which I used in my IWTV post here.)

Severinka Hippocampus as IP EP Jetski (IP EP REQUIRED)

(The harness mesh was shamelessly ripped/reshaped from Mermaidia's Seahorse Taxi. I didn't place the handles as well as I probably should have, but oh frikkin well.) I was too lazy to make this fully recolorable (you can kinda sorta recolor it, since I put the textures in the Multiplier not the Overlay)--but it does come in 4 color variations:

TheVintageSim Fringe Hammock REDONE (Functional Loveseat)

I've been wanting this decor hammock as a functional loveseat for frikkin ever. This gameplay gave me the perfect excuse to bite the bullet and make it. The mesh is rescaled to fit EA loveseats. Fully recolorable, comes in multiple variations, like the original.

Pocci's Jellyfish

I was so jealous that Pocci remade their TS3 Jellyfish ceiling lights for TS4 without the obnoxious strings dangling from the ceiling, so I went and made their Jellyfish 01 & 02 stringless myself. Then I made the Jellyfish as a Teddy Bear. The clipping & joints aren't great, but it works and I'm tired.

Venus Girdle Inspired Table Light

It's amazing, the kind of IRL deep-sea critters you learn about, just by reading mermaid fanfiction.

Wall Mosaics 1x5

They come in a bunch of variations. Two are based on IRL portions of the Madaba Map, for no good reason, other than I just needed a medievalesque mosaic map #ForReasons.

Ivy as Ceiling Light

I made sure there were no backfaces on the ivy mesh, so you could still see inside the lot from a bird's eye view. (I used these with the TW3 Bulb Lights I converted here.)

Simszoo Tree REDONE (RECOLORABLE as Outdoor Light)

I made this tree recolorable and an outfoor light--I wish I knew how to make only the leaves glowe, not the whole frikkin trunk. Ah well.

Pocci Sakura Vase REDONE (Translucent)

All I did was change the texture of the flowers so they were crystal/see-through.

Huge thank to @marioneves2 since I copied his makeover for this lot and he help me to find walls and fences.

I changed a few things so that there would be as few cc as possible. For example, the fireplace chimney wall and the garage walls are maxis, not life stories walls, etc. The house is empty, there is nothing inside, not even the walls, light etc..

these are buydebug objects love! maybe you're new to the game so I'll explain, you need to open cheat console and put testingCheatsEnabled true first, then buydebug on to see hidden objects (some sort of question mark will appear in buy mode), you can find these lights in misc category! I use these almost exclusevely for ceiling lights, all the other lights in room are just for decoration at this point

** I've changed a bit around since my first post with all the screenshots, and I apparently didn't save that earlier version, my apologies. Nothing that would be difficult to change/add back yourself if you wanted to! Most notably I removed the family unit's kitchens and they just have the one kitchen in the main middle floor living area now, and I just moved some of the skill items into those empty spots for now cuz I was too lazy to keep sending them downstairs. I also added some very basic en suite bathrooms to those units for the same reason, and a chapel type room on the bottom level. I am honestly thinking about removing the bottom level all together and adding more beds to/rearranging the 2nd level family units, because I feel like it's a bit too much now that I've played in it for a while. ** There are some weird empty spaces/rooms I just haven't decided what to do with them yet, or are just there to prevent lighting issues or hide things, etc. I'm not a very good builder, so you'll get to see behind the curtain so to speak lol. ** The whole thing is a bit close to the road/edge of the grid. I tried to move it back on the lot to have a little more building space in the front (mostly because the kid's play area is a really awkward room,) but the game wouldn't let me without moving each level individually and I didn't want to do that again, but you could if you wanted to. Just know that it is frustrating with all the stairs and open ceilings. ** There's no cc, but I do own all the packs and kits and I think there is a lamp from a TS3 thing in there, so if the game tells you something is missing when you load it up for the first time, it's probably just that. ** I have to shift-click and set the growth stage on most of the plants in the garden area pretty much every time I log in. It's annoying, and sometimes their harvests go into the household inventory when that happens. ** There's a mailbox behind a tree on the surface if you need it for cheats or whatever. ** The stove may catch fire a lot. You have been warned!
