I adore top only dresses and pantless heels! Endless mixing and matching to suit different styles :) A while ago I came across these heels originally by Semller converted by @alwayssims2, that I thought were super cute. I wanted different shoe colors, and the shoe has such an autumn/winter vibe that I felt stockings would be perfect. Always Sims fortunately had set it up so that it was super easy to add stockings, you rock Always Sims!

I don't consider myself a good recolorist, but occasionally I make something that I think is worth sharing, and these shoes came out nice I think :) Shoe recolors by me, stockings are a combination of existing recolors by others, see credits below :)

There are 8 shoe colors and 4 leg options. Bare legs set as everyday, stocking options everyday and outerwear. Shoe sound is heavy boot. Not townified. Mesh is included, 3003 poly. Filename added as tooltip. Swatches for easy picking included :)

have a request made by my beloved bestie @zeta_reticuli on the simscord! i'm not usually a fan of making bottoms for ts2, but i did my best for this one... have @trillyke's silver light jeans converted to ts4 to ts2, paired with their newtopia strap sandals, which also come as pantless bottoms!

everything is very much low-poly, and both bottoms have all morphs for teen-adult females only. i hope you enjoy these, i did my best to bone-assign the jeans 🙏🏼 psa: the following download links lead to a folder in which i'll be uploading my future conversions of trillyke's stuff, individual and direct downloads are under the cut!

Splatoon games have loads of cool models so these are probably not the last shoes I've converted for TS2. But it takes a lot of time to do right.

Light tan is the original recolor, I've added the other three.

As mentioned above, Desert Chukkas 5gd mesh for AM is available as creator resource here (SFS) - a little larger than AF, not too much tho, 'cuz I think large shoes look absurd in TS2. These have bone assignments and are ready to use.

‘Bastian’ Knee-High Boots for Adult Males (TS2)

I ‘harvested’ these boots from a character model from the game LOST ARK, which was extracted and shared by the user :Dim0s: on Pack 3d Models. Cue their title of the ‘Bastian’ boots.

Though I mostly wanted to share these for other creators’ use, I’ve made them into a ‘pantless’/skintight bottom as they might fit into a historical or fantasy game. I’ve borrowed VampireKiss6661‘s “Aris Vest Skirt” texture for the leggings, but the only recolour included is the one pictured.

The mesh (legs included) weight about 1k triangles, and has fat and preg morphs.I’ve remapped the boots to fit onto regular Maxis body textures. They and the legs form a single mesh group, though the alpha bows form a second one.

Summer Breeze Dress w 18th Sandals + 50 Followers TF Pantless Bottoms

Another creation with an absurdly long title which I've shortened and included a note file with proper credit:

This is @applewatersugar's Summer Breeze Top Only Dress made into a Full Body Dress because I'm not a fan of Top Only/Pantless things. The shoes are @imaginaryboutique's Pantless 18th Sandals.

Credits to @trillyke and @mmsims for the original ts4 pieces that applewatersugar and imaginaryboutique converted. 💕💕

✨ Then as a 50 followers gift I've age converted the Pantless 18th Sandals to Teens using underwear borrowed from one of @deedee-sims Pantless Bottoms. (Idunno if DeeDee made the underwear or not but may as well credit regardless since I used them). The irony of me not liking to use Pantless Bottoms and then sharing one I made with you. Tbh I don't know if I needed to make them for teens in order to make the teen fullbody dress but that's the way I did things, and it'd be silly to not share them with you.

Adult dress has preg and fatmorph, teen dress has fatmorph. The fullbody dresses come in ALL 40 colors that the original top only dress came in, and the TF Pantless Shoes come in the original 16 colors the AF ones do. My obsessive brain made me use all 16 shoe colors with all 40 dress colors so hopefully you like the color shoes I chose for each dress.

a combination of suggestions from @yomiine and @favoritetextures: @miikocc's daisy dress, in long and short versions, converted from ts4 to ts2 in fullbody, top-only, and pantless bottom versions paired with @arltos's banding heels 128 😍 it's not perfect (is anything i release, really?) but i did my best and am super happy!

the short version of the dress has a top-only version, the longer dress doesn't, but both have also been made fullbody with the heels. i ended up just making recolours of the heels to match the dresses, so there are 8 swatches for the dresses and 6 swatches for the shoes. the highest polycount is the fullbody long dress and 9k and the lowest are the top-only short dress and heels, at 3k.

bear in mind that there is some clipping with the legs of the long dress when sims walk, i tried to fix this but bone assignments (especially with slits) is just my forte, so sorry 🙏

You know what would be really cool to have?

a directory of ts2 outfits that have been shoe swapped, separated, or remixed with links to download. Similar to the defaults page. Links to recolors for all the new stuff and game stuff. In a nice standard bodyshop thumbnail sort of image.

It’s hard to find stuff with tumblr’s shitty search function, most pictures being gone on LJ, DW, or GOS, and dead links.

ah well. a girl can dream.

I wouldn’t have the energy to run something like that. I’m tempted to close my current pantless directory and link to the better one, if I can find it again, lol.

EDIT: Maybe I won’t get rid of the pantless directory. I googled ts2 shoe swaps, and found a MTS post that links to the directory. Which... that’s pretty cool. The other directory is here.

Had some energy and motive so I have a couple goodies for the sim kiddies :)

The Tank Decal from the Kids Stuff (SP07); there’s three options - barefeet, sneakers and jelly shoes. The barefeet option is sleepwear only, sneakers show up as everyday and gym and the jellies are everyday only. It’s available for both genders and comes in all the TS4 colours.

And part two of this little upload is the Jelly Shoes also from TS4 Parenthood (GP05). These were a little experiment since I’ve never tried make alpha shoes, so this was a fun thing to try :) These are pantless bottoms and are available for both genders as well and only show up in everyday. Enjoy~
