Senator Chuck Grassley is one of the #TrumpRussiaObstructors who continues to push to discredit the #SteeleDossier.  Sen Grassley is also one of the Republicans who continues to try to deflect from the Trump Russia collusion investigation toward Hillary Clinton, FBI Director James Comey, and Loretta Lynch. Now it seems a Grassley was aware of a covert operation linking the disgraced and twice fired Gen. Michael Flynn and one of his staffers, whose husband was involved with the Iran Contra scandal.

The Grassley Memo Takes Center Stage

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) released The Grassley memo on Tuesday. Grassley's memo contends that associates of the Hillary Clinton campaign had been supplying damaging information to the Richard Steel, author of the controversial “Trump dossier.” The FISA Memo released last Friday shows that the "Trump Dossier" was later used to justify the surveillance of Carter Page and in turn Trump campaign officials during the election. “It is troubling enough that the Clinton Campaign funded Mr. Steele’s work, but that these Clinton associates were contemporaneously feeding Mr. Steele allegations raises additional concerns about his credibility,” the statement read. “…there is substantial evidence suggesting that Mr. Steele materially misled the FBI about a key aspect of his dossier efforts, one which bears on his credibility,” it claimed. The allegations substantiate accusations made by various allies of the president that the Clinton campaign had some culpability for the faulty intelligence that was used for the FISA authorization. Democrats have argued that the surveillance ordered against Carter Page, who had been a member of the Trump transition team, was only in part justified by the information in the “Trump dossier.” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), who helped author the FISA memo, responded that if there were a stronger case against Page that they would not have used the dossier as the central and first piece of evidence against him. The Democrats, more to the point Adam Schiff (D-CA) have drafted a 10-page rebuttal memo that will be released pending authorization from Trump. Late Tuesday night a new story made the rounds that show Schiff Colluding with Russian Agents in an attempt to barter for compromising pictures of Donald Trump. The Two "Ukraine Politicians" talking to Schiff turned out to be a couple of Russian comedians playing a prank on Schiff. If Schiff The Minority leader of the House Intel Committee did not report this contact to the FBI he could be in trouble not only politically, but also legally.
