(copied from @dxckiii on Twitter) this could literally change everything.
They have begun a recount process. WAKE UP YOUR NEVADA FRIENDS AND MAKE SURE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM CHECK iwillvote.com to make sure their ballot was counted. if it says it was denied, they need to call immediately.
Don't scroll past this. If there's any chance someone from Nevada is following you, they need to see it. Get this as far as possible. Be loud. I know it's easy to feel hopeless right now; god knows I was crying my eyes out for a good chunk of last night, but if there's even a shred of action we can take, we can't let it slip by.
If you know anyone in Nevada, please share this with them. Reblog it. Spread it far and wide, ASAP.

Always the same story with him, if he doesn’t win, it was rigged against him, as opposed to Republicans rigging everything for him! No neutral playing field in his mind.

"In the lawsuit filed in Hennepin County District Court in Minneapolis on Monday, the DHL eCommerce unit alleges that MyPillow is in violation of a contract that requires the Minnesota-based company to pay for all parcel delivery services within 15 days of being billed. The lawsuit says they reached a settlement in May 2023 that required MyPillow to pay $775,000 in 24 monthly installments starting in April of this year.
But the lawsuit alleges that MyPillow has made only partial payments on that settlement, totaling $64,583.34, with the last one received on June 6. DHL says it notified MyPillow that it was in default on July 2. The lawsuit seeks $799,925.59, plus interest and attorney fees."

I can't imagine being anywhere near as insane as Trump supporters because my dad told me that he, earlier, drove past a guy putting a "Harris Walz 2024" sign outside his house and decided to yell out at him "TRUMP 2024 YOU COCKSUCKER" and flip him off. And he laughed when he told me because he thinks that yelling at a man (emphasized man because he thinks men should be "better" than women, and "better" would be voting for Trump in this case) who is voting for a "whore who slept her way to the top" (his exact words) is funny. And expected me to laugh with him. And got angry when I didn't and just stared at him in disbelief. Even though he already knows that I don't like Donald Trump. These people fully expect others to find their weird ass derogatory words and behavior FUNNY. Donald Trump is leading a cult of old people who he brainwashed into being delusional with him.
#vote blue#harris walz 2024#kamala harris#tim walz#i know some fucker is gonna be here saying like “it's true i was the tree”#i didn't see this with my own two eyes but i've lived 21 years with my dad and i HAVE seen him do shit like this#but it was mostly just honking at random people on the sidewalk or yelling “WHERE Y'GOING” in their direction out the window#like it's still embarrassing and weird but not derogatory#and since being retired and having nothing to do all day except watch trump and more trump and more trump he has gotten worse#not a day has gone by in the last four months where he hasn't insulted joe biden or kamala harris#and every single time he has expected my brother and i to laugh at his insult even though he knows that we don't like trump#it's so depressing watching your own parent become a worse person#he was already one of the insufferable republicans before trump and now he's a trump republican which is even worse#and yk what's even worse it's that my mom has no spine against men so if her boyfriend asks for her to vote trump she'll be like “okay”#she's not a republican she just doesn't care because she thinks voting doesn't matter#my aunt who i have always loved so much now calls up my dad to talk about trump with him and i never heard her swear until this year#my other aunt makes talking about trump her entire personality when she has a gambling addiction she should be treating instead#my dad's side is a bunch of trump supporters and my mom's side just doesn't give a fuck#and i can't vote because i'll get kicked out of here faster than the speed of light the second my dad sees#the paper in the mail saying that my voter history has been updated#even if it's not public who i voted for because he knows that whoever i vote for will never be trump#sorry#tag vent#this sucks#please vote

The lack of knowledge Americans have about their own politics is STAGGERING. There's no way a felon, rapist and racist piece of shit actually won. Are Americans just brain dead? People will die because of this choice and y'all care about cheaper groceries (which was Obama's economy fyi). Disgusting.

not even saying this in an individuality complex sort of way but mainstream culture in the US is so poison right now. pop culture has been shoving hyperfemininity down everyone's throats for a year or so which i'm finding more and more alienating as a woman who has decided i don't want to actively perform femininity most of the time. the political climate is increasingly dysfunctional. the leading presidential candidate has a laundry list of positions and statements that should have made him unelectable in the eyes of voters, yet an enormous chunk of the electorate doesn't seem to mind. meanwhile, for the first time in history, a woc has a real shot at winning the presidency, and her supporters and campaign team have memeified her and turned her into a caricature. even the people on her side don't seem to take her seriously as a politician, which is disheartening to me as a woc myself. people are polarized. the middle class is shrinking. fast fashion is ubiquitous. every single book and youtube video seems to be about productivity and self improvement, which are valuable pursuits, but entertainment media feels completely oversaturated with content from the self-help genre. the death of third spaces. the manosphere and the popularity of misogynistic male podcasters. the death of subcultures, and the resulting tendency for young people to seek community by defining themselves with identity stereotypes. and it's hard not to notice how advertising is getting more invasive on every social media platform. and how a lot of our celebrities have a similar look, establishing features that are uncommon without cosmetic procedures as the beauty standard. i feel like i'm swimming against the tide just by existing as myself and not subscribing to the parts of the political and social climate that i don't fw. it's exhausting.

Don't fucking blame Palestinians and the people who support them for this. Don't blame people who couldn't bring themselves to vote for a genocide-loving centrist for this. Even if all of them voted for Harris it wouldn't have changed the outcome.
The blame you put on the people belongs on HARRIS for refusing to explicitly promise an end to weapons and money to Israel, and end to America's enthusiastic support of the genocide. She refused to listen to the bipartisan majority of Americans who want an end to the genocide! This is not democracy, there is no choice and the people don't have enough leverage over our president if every single election is a choice between the rapid end of the world and a slightly slower end of the world.

what's pissing me off most about the election is how many people who have similar opinions are absolutely tearing into each other in search of someone to "blame" for the trump win. It doesn't matter what we could've done differently because at the end of the day it's done. blaming each other and turning on each other is only gonna help the white supremacists who want to run this country. so instead we need to focus on creating community so that we have a network of resistance and care built into our lives. tear into trump supporters all you want but if you are anti trump, if you were discontent with both options, if you were/are whatever, focus on people who share the same ideas as you and how you can build each other up and make your community stronger. that is where revolution begins. not yelling about ballots that have already been cast.

Hey you.
Are you also upset and angry about the election? Are you concerned about the likely election tampering and collusion that won* Trump this election?

EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN who voted blue in this election needs to do this. Don't lie down and let fascism take hold of this nation even more than it already has.
Call (202) 456-1111 Tuesday—Thursday 11:00AM—3:00PM and demand an investigation.
Check the status of your ballot at vote.org. Report any issues to the DOJ voter fraud hotline: 1-800-253-3931 for those whose ballot isn’t being counted.
Here are some state-specific hotlines as well:

Here is an in-depth guide to effectively contact your representatives (lik is different from pictures below).

Here is the submission form to submit concerns the the White House as well as instructions and sample text ideas below (not pasting the actual text as incentive for people to write their own—if you submit a message or multiple messages, make sure there are differences so that nothing gets flagged as spam).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm not advocating for her as some kind of savior; she's a politician, but I also would urge you to consider donating to the Harris-Walz campaign fund which has been updated to include a ballot recount in its terms
There was a longer bit here but I didn't like how it sounded lol. Basically consider it if you want—but contacting reps is more important in this case.
I'm not saying all this to be a shill for a politician who's still a basically-centrist politician at the end of the day. I'm doing this because I'm pissed off and desperate to not see my home become a totalitarian dystopia.
I know that as more time passes, it can feel hopeless to fight. It isn't. January 20th is still months away, but each state has a deadline for vote finalization. If there's a snowball's chance in hell to change anything, we can't let it slip through our fingers.
This is not the time to submit to apathy. The bystander effect is how a movement dies, and when affirmative action has to be done remotely like with contacting reps, it's an even bigger factor.
Don't be these guys
Tumblr media
Call your reps. Track your ballots. Defend and report those ballots if missing, and call/submit those White House comments.
This is no time for half measures. Please reblog

the problem in usamerican politics is the lack of diversity to choose from because if you showed the working class republicans what the MPP sector in my country is most of them would switch to the far left so fast, when you actually hear what they want their demands and train of thoughts are reasonable (except when they begin to go off the rails with religious extremism and racism of course) but if you keep treating them as uneducated rural beasts you will never meet in the middle ground, meanwhile a lot of so called progressive voters in the US would be supporting the more conservative candidates here when you see all that they are willing to overlook just to mindlessly keep supporting a certain party, so while yes those crazy "we interviewed trump supporters" videos are funny, you have to dig a little deeper into what is being said because a lot of times the people you call mad are scarily closer to the truth than you are, like when republicans where calling H. Clinton the mother of ISIS... they were right, sure they were probably focusing on the wrong reasons to hate her, but it was the truth, and the so called most progressive sectors were willing to die on a sword for her, and don't even get me started with the one currently running. At the very least you should hear what your fellow citizens have to say about your government officials imo
