things i always have on set in my FAME DR.
✶ PERSONAL TOUCHES.
⋆ custom director's chair. my, my, !!!my!!!! name embroidered in gold script on blush velvet, with a small pocket on the back for scripts and personal notes.
⋆ signature scent: a soft, alluring perfume (i’m a sucker for nina ricci’s bella perfume. the rhubarb, mandarin, lemon thing going on mushes my brain in astronomical levels) fills the set wherever i go, making my presence (hopefully) unforgettable.
⋆ lucky charm. my stuffed elephant, donnie (named after, yes, donnie darko), perched on a nearby table as a comforting presence during stressful moments.
⋆ vintage polaroid camera. always taking candid snaps of the cast and crew for those everlasting memories.
✶ SNACKS ’n’ DRINKS.
⋆ parisian-inspired snacks. a tray with macarons, pain au chocolat, and fresh berries is always available. or. or, or, or, if iyky, those brain-mushing walnut-shaped cookies with caramel filling (russia mentioned 💣🔥)
⋆ coffee. freshly brewed lattes with soy milk (i continue spreading soy milk propaganda) and a drizzle of honey in ceramic mugs.
⋆ chocolate truffles & candied fruit. a little dish of artisanal treats that rotates flavours weekly (berries, pistachios, and champagne-infused ! i'm a fun gal).
⋆ herbal teas. picking the most soothing blend of chamomile, lavender, and rose available for calmer, slower filming days.
✶ MOOD-SETTING MUST-MUST-MUST HAVES.
⋆ playlist for the set. gooottta curate the vibe with dreamy indie tunes (twin peaks soundtrack, solange, or upbeat parisian jazz).
⋆ bouquet of flowers: a fresh arrangement of peonies, roses, and lilies decorates my trailer or desk, adding romance to the chaos.
✶ TRAILER ESSENTIALS.
⋆ throw blanket. a soft blanket in a muted shade for quick naps or moments of reflection. besides, a very big essential when i’m in the make up chair for two hours.
⋆ skincare station. dior prestige skincare and hermès lip balm to stay glowing between takes.
⋆ my kindle. which, by now, is almost ruined to death. but also very much an essential when my location for the past 3 hours has been the hair 'n' make up chair.

PAC: Your unnecessary self doubts
PAC: YOUR UNNECESSARY SELF DOUBT
Hello, I’m back again after a big rest (rest? Focus on material aspects of life? It’s been busy).
Ironically, during Mercury retrograde, I was thinking I should get back on the reading wagon and get out there.
Happy birthday aquarius people, also.
Wasn’t sure what to do straight away, but I saw this idea of mine from a while back and thought, hey, we often doubt ourselves far too much. It can really hurt us in life, and get in the way of what others might think are simple acts or decisions. If you struggle with doubt, worry, or decision making, I see you.
So there we go, we’ll see what the cards want to say. This could be how we expect, or not at all.
We have 3 groups here, and I would like you to breathe deeply a couple times. Try and make sure things are fairly quiet for a minute. You can choose one of these lip balm pots from anything. It could be a favourite flavour, or colour, or a word, or number. You could ask your guides, angels, deities. Do your thing, yo.
From left to right: group 1 - salted caramel. Group 2 - chocolate truffle. Group 3- strawberry sprinkles.
GROUP 1: SALTED CARAMEL
I wonder if you’re detail oriented or observant people here, because I picked the item up and inspected it.
So your self doubts… We have the star, 7 of cups, and 7 of pentacles.
You know, the two sevens here remind me of something I read once. It regarded true love. I wonder, if this comes to mind for me now, does this mean you doubt your ability to obtain, or keep true love in your life?
I also got a sense of slowness. This could be regarding my point above, or general worries that you are slow as a learner, in terms of development, or in work. With this, this could literally be doubts that you would be able to take action on a dream or idea of yours. (I know, cliche, right? They all talk about following a big dream). The fact is, 7 of cups here is allllll about creativity and ideas, but I got the thought block that creativity is bursting out of the seams of you. You have all the ideas, bay-beeeee.
Things happen in their own time, yo. Just like how creative you can be, the universe can be just the same in how it allows life to unfold. Things work, they don’t work, they bring you to something unexpected, they remind you oh yeah I don’t actually want that yeah nevermi-.
You know what I mean?
Now, we have Dress of Alchemy - Release your power.
I see a lot of insecurity bottled up inside, and I feel a lot of pent up anger actually. I feel the need to protect people, or nature. You have ideas no one could ever take on as their own, because it was born from your own unique feelings and experience.
If you fear anyone would take your idea, or think it up before you, I want you to know, the way you would execute it would be so different from what they would ever do, You have value, inherently.
You know those stories, where someone is put down time and time again, and they win or succeed despite it? Ironically, those things are what made the story so much more intriguing and inspiring.
If someone just got up and did something and everyone clapped for them immediately, all the time, straight away with no problem, it wouldn’t be something so… full of depth and connection for others.
I just keep getting the idea of, hard time in life, put downs, but this is your special story, and your special contribution.
Ps. do you cry when angry?
You don’t think you work hard enough? Have you seen what you’ve had to traverse through, pal?
Angel of time - working too hard.
With 7 of pentacles, this is too perfect.
I feel like there’s some unnecessary self doubt surrounding this because you appear to take a lot on, or think over many different things or have multiple priorities in mind. So when you think you’re being slow, in reality, you’re using a lot of brain power and generally completing many things long term.
Pps. you probably need a break. You deserve rest. With the power card, I wonder if you need to express the word “no” to others a bit more.
YOUR time, YOUR pace, YOUR journey.
It’s special, I know it sounds weird, but we need it. We need to see it, and you. I feel like it helps people to see something, about life, about themselves. You don’t have to air your life out, or blog, or anything, it’s about people who connect with you, every day. Any day.
Everything is going to happen at the perfect time for you. There is nothing wrong with you, everything is right with you. In the most cliché ending I can muster: Trust in the universe. Trust the timing. I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Trust yourself, too, and your development pace, both personally and professionally.

GROUP 2: CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE
I got the energy here firstly while I picked the cards of “that’s it. I’m not going to ask for more and more, or go over it. That’s it.”. Perhaps this means there’s an emphasis here of needing to, or learning to, leave things be, not worrying as much when something is done.
So we have 2 of wands, ace of wands, 4 of cups, and the tower. How interesting. I got the thought about worrying about mixing things up.
2 of wands can be about decisions, ace of wands is taking action definitively and in a passionate, direct way. But 4 of cups here talks about disinterest, and I got the word denial. Do you deny yourself your passions? Projects, hobbies, job or study opportunities? The tower is like saying “I shouldn’t, I’ll only mess it up.” or these cards saying “why would this employer or whoever be interested in me anyway”.
You should do the thing anyway! Stuff gets messed up in all sorts of quirky ways, the world is a ball in space and us humans have literally made society up out of our imaginations. Crazier stuff could happen, so what the hey!
Don’t allow yourself to feel unhappy or bored for a minute longer if there’s something you know could help it.
There’s also a branch meaning here as well of finding it hard to choose between options because what's the point if it doesn’t work out. The point is you get out there and develop in a new way, whether short lived or not. You’re here to live, my amigo.
If you’re worried about disaster, the real disaster would be not giving yourself a chance. Don’t shoot yourself down before you’ve even made a decision. Or before anyone even has the chance to.
Sea beacon fairy - Guidance: but where will it lead you?
You-wha-what did I just SAY?! Just do the things! You might be right, you might be wrong, sometimes you’ve just gotta see. I feel like your guide wants to like, SHAKE you, this is hilarious to me.
The point isn’t to be RIGHT. It’s to experience, and your guides or those in spirit you connect to, want to assure you right here, that they will assist in making things the most pleasing it can be.
And if something does ever go pear shaped, what’s that friends reference? “PIVOT!” ?
Then we’ve got the three witchy sisters - The power of three.
Are you worried something bad would happen again? Or that you would make an ill fitting decision after having one happen before? You must trust yourself. Give yourself the chance, to prove to yourself, that you can make a good one. And if you feel you didn’t go for something you should have, perhaps there can be another chance. Let yourself have this chance, what ever it is for you. Study related, relationship related, work related, anything.
Don’t hold yourself back. You can trust you, and spirit has your back too. If things move and shake, let them, and take the next moment.

GROUP 3: STRAWBERRY SPRINKLES
Do you worry about having fun, or if you’re fun enough? I just suddenly felt a little joy.
I feel a bit clearer with this group than the others, so I wonder if you’ve been trying to actively raise your confidence lately. I also find myself shuffling the cards quite harshly, so there’s a lot of energy and force here. This might mean something such as feeling the need to put their all in things to prove themselves, or you’re the type of person that really cares about what they do.
You can’t leave things alone, can you lol. I didn’t get a card for a bit and felt more forceful about getting it to happen. I feel like you’re being advised already to be more easy going.
Accident prone gang here?
2 of cups, queen of pentacles, and 7 of wands.
This makes me think of connections, but also boundaries. The queen reminds me of practical matters such as upkeep of the home, management of money.
This gives me thoughts of partnership, or family/home matters. With my original impression and 2 of cups, it does suggest to me that you worry about being able to make friends or connections as well as if people might like you.
This makes me feel that it’s unnecessary, because I see like… bubble popping. You know when you destress by getting bubble wrap and doing that? It’s like you’re that for other people.
I get the self doubts regarding keeping things in order. Being pragmatic. Maybe you also worry that you’re not strong enough, or that you might be seen as a pushover. However, with the queen of pentacles I really feel that this is your energy. Someone who is more firm, but still helpful and still there for others.
I get the sense of feeling tired or dizzy. Are there worries regarding health or the maintenance of a condition?
There are people you can count on, it appears, if this is the case.
Mildew fairy - clean up time
Fairy of the divine hand - intoxication, distorted view, overindulgence
There may be a couple here who literally have struggled with intoxication. Addictions and so on, and there may be self doubt here about your ability to get clean of whatever it is, to begin, or to keep clean.
There is reassurance here, that you have seen more of yourself much clearly. No, you are not ruined. You are your own unique individual with your own quirks of life. Much like a cat that has a missing piece of its ear, you become aware that they have fought. And that is it - a history.
For others, this might literally be about being able to keep your home clean, or your body clean health wise. Perhaps there is anxiety about health in general. This could be like still asking for a 3rd examination, after being told something is fine.
For any of these scenarios here, you guys are doing better than you think you are, and a lot of it is due to the fact you have more self awareness than you think. I believe you are especially hard on yourselves. You are holding yourselves to higher standards than before, and for that, I see pride regarding you from spirit.
You are doing better than you think, and you CAN do better than you think.
Faceless ghosts and the haunted girl - ghost people.
You worry something will come back and take over? You have grown too much.
Even if the person, thing or situation does try and return, know you can refuse it. You can handle a situation or concern much better, and with far more education.
I feel you guys have opened your eyes so much.
There are some here that may have mediumship skills also, because the boundary point I made can connect to protecting yourself spiritually. There are many techniques you can use such as cleansing your home, using an energetic shield of white light, calling on archangel Michael to protect you, and much more.
I can't help but think you might be wondering, is there something you're missing, what am I not seeing. But I think you guys know everything you need to. Please try not to get paranoid. You're doing great.
I feel like this is a very “know thyself” group. Trying to ensure they don’t make a mistake again, or that they manage things more wisely. You have support, it might not seem like it for some of you, but there are 1 or more out there who think kindly of you. You have a lot going on inside that brain of yours, let yourself step out of it a minute and experience life. Take the walk, enjoy a healthy meal, listen to music you connect with. SMELL THE FLOWERS. Something like that.

My current happy place is imagining SnowBairdPlinth + Livia Cardew on a hiking + camping trip. That shit slaps.
Corio:
Regrets all his choices.
Didn't know what he was in for.
It's beautiful. Except the sky is on fire, his legs are on fire and his skin is on fire as he is in fucking hell.
Wore his "jogging shoes" and has fallen in the mud for the 4th time.
"Ah...another stream. Wonderful."
"how far can the fucking place be (tears up)"
Will claim that it's an allergic reaction even though no one asked.
Did go to a secluded corner at the campsite to have a cry because he hates it here. But so happy that it's over?
"There's a reason why humans created civilization, you know"
Tore a ligament on his way down.
Claims it was a "Learning Experience"
Will never go again.
Sejanus:
"Oh I've done a lot of camping" (doesn't mention he was 8 and with his dad).
Honestly nearly as fucking clueless as Corio.
He does make up for it with his ✨Optimism✨
Highly Curious/Observes every little detail.
Wants to be of help, really.
But it's a hit-or-a-miss kind of situation.
Wanted to display the "Plinth Method" of salmon roasting and now poor Livia has a marble-sized hole burned through her cashmere shawl.
Will be doing a lot of the grunt work with Lucy Gray as they set up/take down the tents.
Has a swollen knee from the trip as it was him Corio clung onto as he slipped in the mud the 5th time while they were coming down.
Wants to go again though.
Livia has categorically refused to come if he is called.
Lucy Gray
The official 👑Camping Queen👑
She is the leader of the group, she picked the site, set up the plans and gave the basic instructions.
Needs like a lighter and a swiss knife to sustain herself here but doesn't brag.
Carried homemade trail mixes for all her friends. Gave Corio a little bit extra after his "allergic reaction"
Honestly kinda little bit pissed about their slow pace.
Happy to watch Sejanus bouncing with joy at the sight of ferns.
She and Livia found an actual truffle by sheer fucking luck.
Their squeals of joy must have scared the animals in their perimeter.
Lightened the mood after the "Plinth Method" debacle with a host of songs.
Did enjoy the trip and have a great time.
Secretly recorded Corio slipping in the mud.
Will use it forever to have a laugh and blackmail him.
Livia Cardew
The literal definition of "Unbothered. Hydrated. Happy. In her lane. Focused. Flourishing"
Does have a fairly good idea of how camping works.
Brought the "black alkaline water" as she is uncomfortable drinking stream water.
Refuses to share any with Corio.
Brought a shit ton of stuff that will not be used.
She likes to be prepared for all eventualities
Still won't share anything with Corio
Official SPF/lip balm supplier
Will make lots of videos and take lots of pictures
A perfectly edited reel will be posted on her insta hours after she reaches home.
Did genuinely enjoy the trip but would like this to be like a bi-annual thing and never with Sejanus fucking Plinth.
She will eventually go on the next trip with him though
Honestly not a fan of the outdoors but willing to make an effort for her friends.
That and to watch Corio, that little fuck, suffer.

It was well past the holiday, but Khaeris never had much use for calendars when it came to celebrating. Giving would always be something she enjoyed, even if she had never had much use or attraction to the common sort of gift. Pyraelia and she had made those confetti eggs, so each basket had gotten at least a few of those. They were prettily dyed in bright saturated colors. There were cookies and candies she’d made--some ‘medicated’ and some not. There were pretty ribbons woven into the reeds and then some personal touches to each of them. Pyraelia’s had candied fruit and a pair of fuzzy socks Khaeris folded to look like rabbit ears. The ‘grass’ was a green throw blanket and the basket itself was white and filled out with chocolate and tea tins. She’d put the skeins of yarn around the back half of the basket for a pop of color and filler. The little box held a blank puzzle and a set of gouache paints to decorate it with. Lastly a silly clay whistle in the shape of a songbird and glazed in a pretty pearlescent that caught the light--the kind of whistle you put water in and it made bird-like calls. Khaeris thought that Pyraelia would grin that infectious grin before blowing as loud as she could on it. Ahuatli’s basket had flavored lip balms nestled around teal and aqua colored confetti eggs. Khaeris grinned to picture her friend smashing one on her lover’s chest. Ahua’s laughter rang in Khaeris’s mind as she tucked in a gauzy silk scarf with tassels. There were Silvermoon truffles and some Kul Tiran treacle tucked next to an enchanted ‘buzzy ball’ -- originally sized and made for a Quel’Thalas lynx, Khaeris thought that a snow leopard would also enjoy it. Tied on as a ribbon was an anklet woven through with Quel'thalas seashells she’d picked up on the beach.
Pollux did indeed get ‘flowers’ made of tools. Sometimes you’d need some strong imaginoscopes to see the ‘flower’, but Khaeris had simply painted a tiny flowers, chicks, or rabbits on the tools she couldn’t arrange in a bouquet. She wasn’t sure what he’d do with yet another set of wrenches and ratchets and the like, but maybe he could find a use for them or give them to a student. There were metal nuts on the dark blue ribbon and thin stacks of washers wired together in patterns. It was much, much heavier than the other baskets. It was also much -louder- as she hefted it onto the kitchen table with a grunt. There were a few little vials of a well-known-to-them potion.
The other two baskets were on the bookcase by the door, ready to go out tomorrow in personal deliveries, but the heavy one sat in the center of the table. Khaeris herself perched on the edge of that table with her legs crossed and bunny ears on, bangles chiming as her legs swung lazily.
She was late, but it was the thought that counted, right?
When Pollux arrived home a few minutes later, she thought about throwing a confetti egg at him. She had one hidden in her hands behind her back, after all. There were at least two problems with that, though: Most importantly, you probably shouldn’t do that in surprise to someone with his past! But also, she would never hit him. She was a good throw, but he was faster and more dextrous. She could throw it NEAR him, but again, it could too easily be construed too similar to a grenade in the subconscious mind. No. She couldn’t throw it at him.
But when he looked up he saw her next to a ridiculous Noblegarden basket that couldn’t be for anyone but him. He smiled and she melted. The kiss was sweet and she almost felt bad smashing the egg on his head.
Almost. mentions: @pyraelia @darkspear-dancers @polluxhale

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
you better watch out / you better not cry / you better not pout / i'm telling you why / 'cause santa claus is coming to town
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! I managed to save some money to be able to get some gifts for each of you, just as a token of gratitude for tolerating me throughout the year. Firstly, you all get a box of chocolate truffles from Cassidy’s Candies.
@docolives @chetang @lcrcmcrie @stellylee @valentinadiaz @rian-bax @darpow
To Dr. Hartman, thank you for all you do! You’ve really made me learn a lot about myself, and I’m glad that we’ve become closer. As a little treat, I got you a box of truffles. I saw this ornament while walking the market and I just knew I had to get it for you. And even though it’s not quite beach weather yet, I got you a beach bag that will be perfect for gathering all of your things when you want to have a beach day. Happy Holidays!
To Chetan, you’re a pretty cool guy and I think our conversations are pretty rad. I saw this book at the local record store, and it looked like it was right up your alley. Look through some of music’s iconic record covers. And you may or may not see our beloved Fleetwood Mac in it, as well. Along with that, I saw this poster at the market and somehow it just reminded me of you. Happy Holidays!
To Lara Marie, I really enjoy our conversations! I know you probably work a lot as a teacher, so I got you a care package that’s full of relaxing goodies (soap, socks, candles, wax melts, faux leather journal). Along with that, I hope you’re able to to watch a holiday movie during the holiday break, so I got you a popcorn set for whenever you want to have a movie night with your daughter! Happy Holidays!
To Stelly, thank you for allowing me to be one of the housemates! I adore our house, even if I feel like it might be haunted at times. I got you a care package because #selfcare, right? But it has tons of goodies (bath bomb, candles, matches, lip balm, body butter, soap, body spray) and a bracelet. You can make a wish on it, and it’s supposed to grant it during the next year. And lastly, I got you (and the rest of our roomies) matching PJ’s. Don’t worry, I swear I got all of our sizes! Unless you do want to try to fit into the kid size... Happy Holidays!
To Valentina, I’m glad you’re not one of those roomies from a horror movie or a Reddit thread! To celebrate you this holiday season, I got you a care package which includes a lot of things that I hope you’ll enjoy (bath bomb, candles, matches, body butter, lip balm, room spray). And because we’ve got a full house, I wanted to get us all some matching pajamas. I got you your size, but I’m sure we could make a kid size work if needed (kidding!). Happy Holidays!
To Rian, thank you for completing our house! I know you’ve worked really hard this past semester, so I wanted to get you a care package that will get you through the winter (bath bomb, candles, matches, body butter, lip balm, room spray). And I got us all some matching pajamas, so I hope you don’t mind wearing the toddler one! Kidding, kidding. I swear I got the right size for you, hopefully! Happy Holidays!
To Darrius, I heard that you’re a music fan, so I got you a book that talks about the art in jazz’s album covers, posters and more. In addition to that, I got you a beach chair for when you want to people watch at one of the town’s beaches when it gets a little warmer out (it also doubles as a cart, too!). Happy Holidays!

Illipe Butter in Food Industry Market : Advanced Technologies & Growth Opportunities Worldwide By 2030
Illipe butter is a type of vegetable butter derived from the nuts of the Shorea stenoptera tree, which is native to Southeast Asia. It is commonly used in the food industry for its unique properties and benefits. Here’s an overview of Illipe butter in the food industry market:
Composition and Properties: Illipe butter has a high melting point, which makes it suitable for applications where heat stability is required, such as baking and confectionery. It is also rich in fatty acids, particularly stearic and oleic acids, which contribute to its solid consistency at room temperature.
Chocolate and Confectionery: Illipe butter is often used as a substitute for cocoa butter in chocolate and confectionery products. It provides similar texture and mouthfeel while offering a lower cost alternative. It can be used in chocolate bars, truffles, coatings, and fillings.
Bakery Products: Illipe butter is used in the production of various bakery products, including cookies, pastries, and bread. Its high melting point helps improve the stability and texture of baked goods, allowing them to maintain their shape and structure during baking.
Margarine and Spreads: Illipe butter can be used as an ingredient in margarine and spreads. Its solid consistency at room temperature provides structure and stability to these products, while its fatty acid composition contributes to the desired texture and flavor.
Skin Care Products: Apart from its applications in the food industry, Illipe butter is also used in the cosmetic and skincare industry. It is valued for its moisturizing and emollient properties, making it suitable for creams, lotions, lip balms, and soaps.
Market Demand and Trends: The demand for Illipe butter has been growing in recent years due to increasing consumer interest in natural and plant-based ingredients. It offers an alternative to animal-derived fats, such as butter or lard, and appeals to customers seeking vegan or vegetarian options. The market for Illipe butter is influenced by factors such as the growing preference for clean label ingredients, sustainable sourcing practices, and the rise in artisanal and premium food products.
Sustainability and Sourcing: The sustainability of Illipe butter production is an important consideration in the food industry. Responsible sourcing practices, including supporting fair trade initiatives and promoting sustainable agriculture, are increasingly important for both consumers and businesses. Ensuring that Illipe butter is harvested and processed in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner can be a key factor in its market acceptance.

Cocoa Butter and Equivalents Market Growth, Trends, and Forecast 2028
Introduction:
Cocoa butter is a natural fat derived from cocoa beans, which are the seeds of the cocoa tree. It has a unique melting point, around 34-38°C (93-100°F), which gives it a solid texture at room temperature but a smooth, creamy consistency when melted. Cocoa butter is widely used in the food and cosmetics industries for its desirable properties, such as its high stability, low melting point, and smooth texture. In recent years, the cocoa butter and equivalents market has witnessed significant growth due to increasing consumer demand for chocolate and other cocoa-based products, as well as the rising awareness of the health benefits associated with cocoa butter. In this blog post, we will explore the trends, applications, and future prospects of the cocoa butter and equivalents market.
Trends in the Cocoa Butter and Equivalents Market:
1. Growing Demand for Premium and Specialty Chocolates: The demand for premium and specialty chocolates made from high-quality cocoa beans and cocoa butter has been steadily increasing. Consumers are willing to pay a premium for chocolate products that offer unique flavors, textures, and origin stories. This trend has led to the emergence of artisanal and craft chocolate makers who source cocoa butter from specific regions or single-estate farms, resulting in a niche market for premium cocoa butter.
2. Rising Awareness of the Health Benefits of Cocoa Butter: Cocoa butter is known for its potential health benefits, including its high content of antioxidants, healthy fats, and vitamins. It is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties, improve skin health, and promote heart health. As consumers become more health-conscious and seek natural and functional ingredients in their food and cosmetic products, cocoa butter has gained popularity as a desirable ingredient, driving demand in the market.
3. Increasing Use of Cocoa Butter Equivalents: Cocoa butter equivalents are fats that are used as substitutes for cocoa butter in various applications. They are often used in confectionery, bakery, and cosmetic products to reduce costs or improve functional properties. Some common cocoa butter equivalents include vegetable fats, palm oil fractions, and shea butter. The use of cocoa butter equivalents has been on the rise due to their lower cost compared to cocoa butter and the increasing demand for sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives to cocoa butter.
Applications of Cocoa Butter and Equivalents:
1. Confectionery: The confectionery industry is the largest consumer of cocoa butter and equivalents. Cocoa butter is used in the production of chocolate bars, truffles, bonbons, and other confectionery products due to its unique melting properties, which give chocolate its characteristic smooth texture and glossy appearance. Cocoa butter equivalents are also used in confectionery to adjust the melting characteristics of chocolate, improve the shelf life of products, and reduce costs.
2. Bakery: Cocoa butter is used in the bakery industry for a variety of applications, including as an ingredient in cakes, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods. It is used for its flavor, texture, and stability properties, which can enhance the taste, mouthfeel, and shelf life of baked products. Cocoa butter equivalents are sometimes used in bakery applications as a substitute for cocoa butter to achieve similar functional properties at a lower cost.
3. Cosmetics: Cocoa butter is a popular ingredient in cosmetics and personal care products due to its moisturizing, emollient, and antioxidant properties. It is used in a wide range of cosmetic products, including skin creams, lotions, lip balms, and soaps, for its ability to nourish and hydrate the skin, improve skin elasticity, and protect against environmental damage. Cocoa butter equivalents, such as shea butter, are also used in cosmetics for similar purposes.
Future Prospects of the Cocoa Butter and Equivalents Market:
The cocoa butter and equivalents market is expected to witness significant growth in the coming years, driven by several factors:
1. Increasing Chocolate Consumption: Chocolate consumption continues to rise globally, with emerging markets such as Asia and Latin America showing a growing appetite for chocolate products. As consumers become more discerning about the quality and origin of chocolate, there is a growing demand for premium and specialty chocolates made with high-quality cocoa butter. This trend is expected to drive the demand for cocoa butter in the confectionery industry, especially in the premium and artisanal chocolate segments.
2. Growing Awareness of Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing: There is a growing awareness among consumers about the environmental and social impacts of cocoa production, including deforestation, child labor, and poor working conditions. As a result, there is a growing demand for sustainably and ethically sourced cocoa butter and equivalents. Many companies in the cocoa industry are now investing in sustainable sourcing practices, such as certifications like Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance, to meet consumer demands and ensure the long-term sustainability of cocoa production. This trend is expected to continue driving the demand for sustainably sourced cocoa butter and equivalents in the market.
3. Innovation in Cocoa Butter Equivalents: With the increasing demand for cocoa butter equivalents as a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to cocoa butter, there is ongoing research and innovation in developing new cocoa butter equivalents with improved functional properties. For example, there are efforts to develop cocoa butter equivalents using non-hydrogenated vegetable fats or other sustainable plant-based fats to address concerns related to trans fats and environmental sustainability. As these innovations continue to progress, it is expected to create new opportunities and expand the application areas for cocoa butter equivalents in the food and cosmetic industries.
4. Growing Awareness of Health and Wellness: As consumers continue to prioritize health and wellness, there is an increasing demand for natural and functional ingredients in food and cosmetic products. Cocoa butter, with its potential health benefits and natural properties, is well-positioned to meet this demand. As the awareness of the health benefits of cocoa butter continues to grow, it is expected to drive its demand in various applications, including functional foods, nutraceuticals, and natural cosmetics.
Conclusion:
The cocoa butter and equivalents market is witnessing a significant growth driven by changing consumer preferences, increasing awareness of sustainability and health, and innovation in cocoa butter equivalents. The demand for premium and specialty chocolates, sustainably sourced cocoa butter, and functional ingredients in food and cosmetics is expected to continue driving the growth of the cocoa butter and equivalents market in the coming years. As the industry continues to evolve and innovate, it presents opportunities for stakeholders to capitalize on the growing demand for cocoa butter and its sustainable alternatives in various applications.

How Is Cocoa Butter Made?
Cocoa butter is no newcomer to the beauty and health care realms. It’s actually been around for centuries! According to some historical sources, the ancient Aztecs and Mayans were among the first to consume and utilize cocoa as early as 460 AD.
More recently, cocoa butter has made its presence known in mainstream skin products. Further solidifying the legacy of this ingredient was the discovery of phytochemicals in cocoa butter, which help keep skin healthy and smooth.
Cocoa butter is a type of vegetable fat that comes from raw cocoa beans. Manufacturers extract cocoa butter by roasting, stripping, and then pressing cocoa beans to separate the fat. The remaining portion is turned into cocoa powder – one of our favorite bronzer ingredients! Both forms are ideal for not only consumption in chocolate truffles but in skin care, too.
4 Pure Cocoa Butter Benefits for Your Skin
So almost everyone has eaten cocoa butter at some point, and a lot of people rub it all over their skin, too. But what makes this decadent ingredient so great for skin?
Whether it’s the bean, butter, or powder form of cocoa, all of these ingredients are rich in essential nutrients and antioxidants. This makes them instantly beneficial for the skin, helping to protect the skin from sun damage and premature signs of aging. Cocoa butter also has excellent anti-inflammatory properties for soothing dry patches and irritation.
Let’s explore a few pure cocoa butter benefits!
Antioxidant powerhouse Cocoa butter contains high amounts of polyphenols. Studies have shown that polyphenols can help diminish signs of aging, while soothing sensitive or inflamed skin that might be suffering from dermatitis.
As a form of antioxidants, polyphenols neutralize the free radicals that contribute to early signs of aging like fine lines, dark spots, dullness, and loss of elasticity. Dark chocolate is literally packed with polyphenols!
Essential vitamins abound Numerous nutrients and vitamins can be found in pure cocoa butter: vitamin E and vitamin K, choline, magnesium, copper, and iron. Iron is usually found in green leafy foods like spinach and broccoli, and is a great resource for a glowy complexion. Copper is a popular skin care ingredient for supporting healthy collagen and elastin levels for supple, bouncy skin.
Excellent skin moisturizer Pure cocoa butter is high in fatty acids and deeply hydrates the skin, as the fats in cocoa butter form a protective barrier to hold in moisture. It also contains oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids, all of which nourish the skin. This makes cocoa butter a wonderful addition to moisturizers, body lotions, and lip balms.
Reduces stretch marks and scars There are many anecdotal claims by women – and scientific studies – that praise the regular use of cocoa butter for stretch marks. When used during pregnancy and postpartum, it can help to lessen the severity of stretch marks. Many mamas believe that cocoa butter can ease the stretch marks struggle by boosting elasticity and replenishing essential hydration.
Curalene cocoa butter cream is a best cocoa butter cream . Because it's made from simple, natural ingredients it's healthy and affordable, and great for your skin!

Swan Princess Party
A magical black and white swan princess party with pink, of course!
The idea of a swan party was inspired by the swan pool float we have had for a few years. It just so happened my daughter was into Barbie’s Swan Princess movie when I started planning her 4th birthday.
So, the swan idea came to life around swans and princesses - feathers, ballet shoes (as an ode to Swan Lake), swans, and black and white accented with pink. Cake by Wink by Erika with added “4″ candle, photos by Johnny Than.
Black linens on the table with our white charivari chairs pulled in the colors perfectly! And, the cute swan plates looked great on the black linens. To turn the swan plates into swan princess plates, I found gold crowns and added them to the plates. Ta-da! Swan princess plates. We added the gold crowns to the swan masks, as well.
Behind the kids’s table, we hung silk wisteria on fishing line to have a hanging floral accent. It took way more pieces than I imagined (and I still wish I’d done more of them), but it was a fun photo spot.
The centerpieces were one of my all time favorites! I found the set of three swans in different sizes and ordered 2. My mom arranged the fresh flowers for the party and put them in the swan planters.
The food even reflected the black, white, and pink theme! Black licorice, chocolates, and chocolate goldfish were spread with yogurt covered pretzels, vanilla sugar wafers, iced animal cookies, vanilla ding dongs, white M&Ms, mini white chocolate Oreos, white chocolate covered mini Rice Krispie treats, white swirl suckers, white chocolate truffles, and pink M&Ms on my favorite melamine platter.
Another tray had the almost black colored grapes and an assortment of white cheeses, marcona almonds, macadamia nuts, and Pirate’s Booty.
We also used black rock candy in a container with more of the white chocolate pearls. And, I found a great jewelry stand to display powdered donuts and chocolate donuts. Now the jewelry stand holds my daughter’s headbands.
White feather boas were great for draping around platters and decorations. And, we used the same flowers from our daughter’s Garden Party first birthday to add pink accents to the feathers (seriously the best faux peonies I’ve ever found).
For decorated cookies, I chose a “4″ for the 4 year old along with a feather and swans. These were done by Sweets by Shey and were tasty and on theme. She even added a little sparkle to the 4s.
The tiered serving piece has become my go-to piece for the decorated cookies at the parties, so I’m linking it here.
Another tray of food included White Cheddar Cheez-its, Pirates Booty, white cheddar popcorn, Chicken-in-a-Biscuit, Wheat Thins, and pink Goldfish to continue the white and pink foods.
I really enjoy carrying a theme all throughout the party, if you can’t tell.
I found the cutest swan cups for all of the kids that we kept on the beverage table alongside “Swan Lake Lemonade” (pink, of course!) and the cutest swan mugs from Manor used for additional florals.
The floral swan printable sign was perfectly on theme and is linked here.
In addition to the feather and floral decor, we used swan stuffed animals like the ballerina swan pictured below from Manor.
Isn’t she a beauty with her crown and ballet slippers?!?
Now to discuss my sweet girl’s dress!
Every year Cuteheads makes a custom piece for the birthday girl to wear. This year, Esther must have read my mind because she created this piece that was perfect for a Swan Princess Ballerina party - light pink tulle with swans all over accessorized with ballet flats and a peony hair piece.
Our swan princess ballerina was overjoyed when Rapunzel showed up to let her know Odette from Swan Lake sends birthday wishes! Fairest of All Parties has the BEST princesses in the Houston area. They worked with me tirelessly to try to have Odette from Swan Lake, but the costume was nowhere to be found and there was not enough time to create one.
My daughter’s favorite princess at the time was Rapunzel, so it was a welcome surprise for her. Rapunzel sang (beautifully) with the kids, told stories, and shared a treasure chest of treasures. She even did face painting on the kids.
We loved her so much, we used Fairest of All Parties for the 5th birthday (post coming soon) and are now planning number 6 with another Fairest of All Parties princess.
Favors for the kids included a swan princess holder, swan princess “Thank You” sticker, princess crown full of candy, princess lip balm, princess rings, princess bracelets, and stickers tied with tulle.
Here’s a complete source list of all of the party things:
