8 i just answered in my previous ask but to sum it up, truearth cleaners is the closest i could get to ‘swearing by’ a cleaner and it’s because it’s eco friendly

Any groceries you've been getting into lately?

I am not the cook of the family so mostly i get what my husband says he needs to make meals, but i do have an endless love for cinniman apple tea that has made its way into my grocery cart XD

I mostly thrive off of fruits and vegetables and was really happy to find some persimmon the other day that was actually ripe and delicious!

I was #gifted these packs of @truearthmovement laundry strips, and I was skeptical at first because I see ads for them all over my Facebook page and always thought they were too good to be true. But I’ve tried a few loads of laundry with them, and let me just say that they are legit. These tiny strips works so well!

There are many benefits to them:

🧺 They are vegan, and not tested on animals.

🧺 They do not contain harsh chemicals that are often found in normal laundry detergents, which makes them safer for your skin.

🧺 They are low waste! The only “waste” that they have is the paper packaging they come in, which is much more eco friendly than those giant plastic tubs of laundry detergent. And they creates less transportation pollution due to how lite weight they are.

🧺 They are so easy to use because there is no mess that comes along with pouring laundry detergent. You simply just throw a strip into your machine and you’re good to go.

🧺 They’re packaging is small, which makes them very easy to store, (especially if you’re into that minimalist aesthetic).

So ya, there’s so many benefits to using this product that I never even considered before getting them. If you currently use a plastic jug of laundry detergent, I recommend trying these ones instead, because you won’t be disappointed. My personal favourite is the fragrance free strips, because I prefer less fragrancy detergent.

I purchased a #moyu washer for the sailboat. It is a nice small washer for the kids clothes, wash rags/hand towels and bathing suits. Right now I'm washing 2 sets of 3t clothes with a pair of adult socks and 5 wash rags. Its holding up pretty well. Lets see how long this last me. An lets see how well this truearth ecostrips work.

What cleaning product do you swear by?

Honestly, none? I prefer to use eco friendly cleaners where i can but i don’t really care if the cleaner is super great and does all the work for me, or if i have to do most of the work

My main concern is making sure i’m putting less crap chemicals into the world when i can.

The main cleaner i buy is truearth which makes laundry detergent strips and toilet cleaner strips that i love.

Do you keep a daily journal or agenda?

No. I have tried in the past but i always end up forgetting it, and i don’t feel i need an agenda as i remember everything i have to do. (I used to freak some of my co-workers out because i’d read the weeks schedule once and know every shift i had XD)

Today I want to talk about Tru Earth Eco-strips Laundry detergent. I’ve been using this in place of liquid and pod detergents in an attempt to avoid using those big plastic jugs. So far, they’re pretty amazing. The sheets come in a biodegradable paper/cardboard envelope. You just toss a sheet in with your laundry like you would a pod and start it as normal. 1 sheet = 1 load and each envelope carries 32-64 strips. The strips come in a fresh linen scent, fragrance-less, and baby safe variants. Personally I’ve used the “fresh linen” scented version. My laundry always comes out clean just as it had with the liquid and pods. The only concern is making sure your envelope of unused sheets stay dry as water can damage them when not in use. Just make sure to store in a dry place and they should be fine. If you’re looking for plastic free alternatives to laundry jugs this is it! 5/5 highly recommended.
