So, after years without another Trory story, I’ve resurfaced!! I’ll be updating every two weeks until complete! Hope everyone enjoys!! 

Love, Zombies, and Shakespeare -   You don’t get to choose who you’re with when the end of the world strikes. But Rory and Tristan were always meant to be together. Not even zombies could stop that.  Begins 2x09 “Run Away Little Boy.” AU.

Excerpt: 

Her eyes expressed frustration, so Tristan paused. Her eyes were sapphires that always seemed to glitter, and he was transfixed. He didn’t know why he let himself look at her–nothing good ever came from staring into Rory Gilmore’s eyes. He pushed away from the lockers. “I won’t say a word to bag boy about us, but he’s going to be able to tell that something’s off.”

“What? Why?” Rory started to panic a bit because Tristan didn’t have to explain. Just being this close to him did something strange to her, and she felt like gravity was constantly playing a tug-of-war with her body. She wanted to step closer, but she wanted to be as far away from him as possible. 

“C’mon, Mary,” Tristan smirked. “It won’t take a genius to figure out that it’s not our first kiss–hell I’m sure even someone who’s deaf, dumb, and blind can figure out that we’re…”

“That we’re what?” Rory whispered, ashamed for reasons unknown. 

“That we’re not over,” he spoke his truth, and he was okay with that. 

She could take it as swagger and arrogance, but he was acutely aware of her reactions around him. It didn’t matter that they hadn’t spoken to each other once this semester–he saw her. He always saw her, and she always saw him. Even if she didn’t want to admit it.
