Oh man.

It’s a nice story about the band accompanying Piché to the hospital and chipping in for her GFM… but yeah. She is within her rights to sue. And should!

The venue has an official no stage diving policy. Stage diving occurred. This is not a venue that says (as, say, the Electric Factory in Philly does) “we can’t encourage moshing or crowd surfing but it might happen, so you assume the risk of injury.”

I think her case against the venue and the promoter hold less water than against the band, but if anyone will be footing the bill, it’s the promoter, who has the thickest profit margins.
