Nya nearly stumbled down the stairs leading to the forge. It was so dark, how did Kai see where he was going? As she descended on the last step, a rush of sensation hit her in the face. Hot air blew her hair around her face, and a rhythmic bang, bang, bang made her want to cover her ears. How did Kai stand it down here?

She saw him in the far corner of the forge, bent over whatever he was working on. Sweat ran down the side of his face, and the orange-red glow of the fires made the scar on his right eye stand out. She approached him.

"Kai?" she asked tentatively. He wasn't always in a good mood when he came down here. When he glanced at her she could tell he was in a foul one today.

"What?" he replied sharply. Nya picked up the sword he had been working on. It was a spiral, like turtle nests in the sand. She chuckled.

"Looks like you were too hasty again." Kai's expression softened into a small smile.

"You're probably right." He wiped his hands on a cloth that was just as sooty as they were, doing next to nothing to remove the grime of the forge. "What did you want?"

"I just wanted to let you know that I'm leaving for the Diplomat's Meeting in the Isles," she explained, "And there's an old man up in the courtyard who wants to speak with you. Krux keeps giving him the evil eye."

"I'll go talk to him," he put the bent sword away and started heading towards the stairs, "Let's go, sis."

This will probably be part of the first chapter of a fic if I decide to turn the au into one. It will need a lot more world developing if that's going to happen. I decided that Krux would be a kind of constant in Kai and Nya's lives, him being the Shogun and them being the Emperor/Prince and Princess. I mostly wrote this because I wanted to try to get back into the swing of writing after taking a 6 month long break to try to recharge my creativity battery.

Ok now I'm just imagining Nya showing up to a diplomatic meeting in 50 layers of kimonos sweating like a dog and the other diplomats are just like "Are you ok? Do you need to change?" and she literallly can't change because Krux would have her head (/fig) if she didn't wear the appropriate attire

And then Kai shows up to a world leaders meeting and Cole is literally wearing a band t-shirt while he's over here wrapped in enough clothing to stop a bullet and Zane is the only other person dressed traditionally but it doesn't count because he's autistic lmao

Should the royals (ninja) in my au wear modern clothing or traditional clothing?

We either get Nya in a suit or Nya in a Jūnihitoe.

I think the best route is traditional clothing whenever they’re doing Politics, or interacting with courts and whatnot, and a mix of casual-traditional and modern clothing whenever they’re not. I think it pose an interesting comparison to their more casual/everyday lives to court politics and royal duties. Ofc this is my bias and love of large pretty clothes vs my need for practicality lol

I wanted to share some more information on TRN for those who are wondering!

TRN is very based on the religious as above so below. (Search up as above so below religion to find out more about the as above so below) but it is slightly different. Heaven in TRN is as above. Hell in TRN is so below. Our main character has a lot to do with this religion and it will create a lot of the plot.

TRN will contain gore and very disturbing scenes. I will make another post saying the trigger warnings for TRN.

TRN will most likely be a animated series with a pilot episode and a podcast. I will also be cosplaying a lot of the characters to on my TikTok account ace.0f.spades0. Our voice actors may not be 100 % accurate to the canon voices so please be kind to us we are really trying to put this together. We also use Gacha life 2 to make TRN stuff since animation is hard!

The official 1 year of TRN will be on May 23rd 2024!

I will make a post talking about the boundaries of TRN!

Me giving y'all tmi about my stupid Ninjgao AU

TR AU : Before Time Had A Name

Time in years:

0-100: The FSM exists in the void. After his whole family is destroyed (or is it??) in the Dragon-Oni wars of the First Realm, the FSM brought himself and the Golden Armour to the realm of Ninjago, which is currently a void of nothingness.

100-200: The FSM has the idea to create a world. A perfect world, unlike the one he came from. He uses the Golden Armour to create this perfect world, he spends a long time getting it ready.

200-300: The world is done. The FSM creates three different peoples: the Sky People, the Sea People, and the Snake people.

300-400: Time passes, and the FSM finds that he is lonely. Despite his people living in perfect harmony, he finds himself yearning for more. He uses the Golden Armour to create for himself a partner (Wu and Garm's mom, possibly the First Ninja Master). He turns the Golden Armour into the four golden weapons, each representing the four most powerful elements (fire, earth, lighting and ice).

400-500: The FSM and his wife have their first son, who is named Garmadon.

500-600: They have their second kid, Wu.

600-1100: Nothing happens. The kids are actually only 7 and 6 cause they age super slow.

1100-1200: Garm and Wu find the golden weapons and accidentally create humans :) The FSM isn't that mad.

1200-2000: Humans start waging war against each other and the FSM is like, nah this ain't happening and splits the continent into 5 pieces. He gives 4 people powers (fire, ice, earth, lightning) and they become rulers chosen by god or whatever. The 5th island is where the Snake People live. The Sky people choose to go live in the Earth Kingdom because they want to marry humans. Some humans develop elemental powers on their own.

2000-2100: Garm goes through his edgy teenage years and gives up his super slow aging as an act of rebellion because his parents won't let him marry the pretty human girl Misako. Wu does the same because he wants to be like his big bro. Misako and Garm elope and don't come back until Misako is 6 months pregnant with their kid. Misako is now immortal because she's having an immortal kid.

2100-2200: Time gets a name and humans create the calendar and start keeping track of the years so we're back to year 1 lol.

Welcome All! Here is where you will find some introductory information you may need to know about our universe and what lies beyond. This is Evermore.

"Founded in 1791, Nevermore Academy is an academic institution that nurtures outcasts, freaks, and monsters. Our mission is to help each student master their extraordinary abilities through world-class academics and unique extracurriculars."

Nevermore Academy is a school for the supernatural. The expansive campus is nestled in the secluded outskirts of Jericho, Vermont. Here, you will come across creatures and talents of all kinds. Our main focus is to teach young Arcane to master their abilities, learn new skills, and create a sense of community amongst the youth of our world. We currently teach ages 10-19 but are hoping to expand this range to include young adults and adults by introducing the upcoming Nevermore College Program.

First Year Class Schedules

As new students, in addition to the traditional math, science, language arts, and social studies, your class schedule may include the following courses:

Intro to More (MORE 001)

This course is for those new to the world that lies beneath the average. Some topics taught and discussed in this class include but are not limited to: Terminology, Supernatural Beings, Supernatural Activities, and Separating Truth from Myth. Instructor: Professor Gardnal Shaw

Intro to Transmutation (TRNS 101)

This course is for werecreatures that have either never transmuted or may have transmuted previously but have not done so willingly. In this introductory class, students will be taught the technicalities behind transmuting. Upon completion of the course, students will have mastered the ability to comfortably change form on command. Instructor: Professor Jenfifer Safierto

Intro to Occult Practices (OCCP 101)

This course is for Arcane interested in studying and practicing the art of magic. This course is available to all students. In this course, students will be introduced to beginner friendly spells and potions. Upon completion, students will have mastered the basics of occult studies. Instructor: Professor Darlene Oldek

Specializations (SPCL 001)

This course is for Arcane who have existing, specialized powers but have yet to master or control said power. This course is typically a one-on-one class. Students will be matched with a teacher who can best fit their needs. Upon completion of this class, students will have successfully passed the beginning stages of safely controlling and practicing their powers. Instructor: [Student Specific]

General Information for New Admissions

Upon arrival, all students will go through an initial orientation, be provided with a Nevermore Academy uniform, and will be assigned to a mentor. Mentors are long-time Nevermore students deemed fit by staff for the task of taking new students under their wing. They will be responsible for ensuring each new student is equipped with the proper learning tools and also carry the responsibility of walking new students through their schedule.

Along with getting a uniform and schedule, new students will also be provided with student housing. All students are expected to remain on campus in the supervised academy dorm rooms.

Quiet Hours are between 8:00PM - 7:30AM. Campus Curfew is 10:00PM with the exception of select school events, field trips, sporting events, and/or approved club events.

Glad the Imago stuff was of interest! Its fun to play with different Miraculous powers running wild. The Butterfly is best for it, but Trixx's illusions becoming real can be good too.

Speaking of the wily fox, an idea I had for like 1 AU that spread to many, especially those closer to the canon timeline but still distinct. Volpina, is a genuine Miraculous Holder,

So in anything with a revised Butterfly, there's room for another lost Miraculous or two if one wants.

& while I like 1 or more ending up with the Tsurugi's who claim to want to supersede Fu as Guardian & to respect the Kwami as deities, though how genuine Tomoe is can vary. They aren't the one that is becoming default, Lila is.

Long story short, Trixx was lost before the order even fell, possibly for the first time or one of many being a trickster. It was easy for them to slip the leash or find a new wielder. As a result they've been bouncing around for centuries in-between long naps; usually causing mischief and doing some good on the side.

In the modern day Trixx wakes up, so to speak, in a second hand store Lila is screwing for exotic looking items to sell her stories & masks for her collection.

She finds the greatest mask of all and Trixx finds a new wielder.

Being a concept first & person second, & a tricky one at that Trixx is not the most pearl clutching moralist, & Lila didn't get up to anything above mischief and petty crime. Thus any worries someone may have had, like say about her compulsive lying and identity issues were either not quite noticed or seen as long term problems.

Then Nooro starts being used to terrorize Paris & Trixx is loyal to family & Lila is not a horrible person, she likes Trixx, she thinks using the true names to command Kwami is vile & she sees how adored Ladybug & Chat Noir already are.

She wants that.

I like to picture them both eating fast food in a fancy hotel at the end of Origins, staring boggle eyed at the tv with food halfway to their opened mouths as the news reports on Stoneheart XD

Anyway, she eventually makes her way to Paris, has a good debut and actually joins the team for awhile. Fu is searching but finding them is not easy even with Lila's penchant to use Glamour and illusions for some petty fun on the side.

Things do trn bad though because:

Her desire to get more attention leads her to potentially staging some stuff to stop.

She prioritizes a personal matter (Saving Adrien) over the mission & they almost lose as Chat Noir is not there.

She neglects the plan in favor of trying to show off and makes things worse.

She gets careless with her identity so she can be a celebrity already.

She's 14, what can one expect XD

The result of this causes her to be found by Fu & her Miraculous taken back. He's not horrible about it, but he is stern and the reaction of Ladybug & Chat vary depending on context though at best/worst they grudgingly go along with it. If they know at all.

Cue Akumatized Volpina perhaps and her becoming one of Hawk Moth's prime targets for ongoing 'observation' like Chloe is. Where things go from there... Well who knows.

Honestly any kind of Lila being a hot mess of fun but like. In the realistic way of 'teenager with issues finds magic jewelry' is GREAT

hi hi! it is always flattering to hear one of my stories was someone's first AU. I know how long it took me to jump from canon to muggle AUs especially! 🥲 that all said, I am in the process of rewriting trn into two originals so I don't have any plans to republish the fic. here's a little glimpse into a new bit I've written

He would be lying if he said this was the first time he’d gotten half-hard at a bar. The beer in his system seems to be urging him on instead of slowing him down and the proof manifests in the uncomfortable bulge in his pants that he has to adjust discreetly before exiting the bathroom. Maybe if he were less drunk he’d be a bit more ashamed as he makes his way back to his friends.

When he spots the redhead across the bar, now talking animatedly with her friends, he doesn’t have an ounce of regret to show for it.

“Did you get lost, Chris?”

He can’t keep the grin off his face as he slides back into his seat. “Nah.” His eyes lock with crystal blue. “I actually might have found something.”
