Chain smoking was arguably one of the unhealthier things he could be doing, but then again, so was eavesdropping on his fellow LT. Not even a green to gold, LT L/N was just 26 and only a few years out of the academy. He knew he didn't really understand half of the phrases floating out of the opened window, but it was great white noise for his tired mind.

"Yeah, no, I'm so not even fucking kidding when I say he's-"

Over the last 45 minutes, Ghost had been tuning in and out as he sat at the smoke pit. His place of duty this week was at the Aid Station teaching combat life savers course. His brain was rotting with the mundanity of the info he was putting out because, aside from some brand new additions to the course, it was all decade old information to him. He tilted his head down as he put his butt out in the ash tray. Maybe he could have the newbies practice nasal intubations on each other... that would certainly be entertaining for everyone, even if it wasn't exactly necessary.

"His name? Uhhh.... well, he's called Ghost by everyone here." His hand froze in the ashtray. "He's a pretty big guy.... strong as fuck, too. Like 6'4, 250lbs type of big." People normally add in a bit about him being scary. He was waiting on it as he lit up another cigarette. "I have to be honest."

Here it comes...

"He's a little intimidating." The sheepish laughter mixed with the words was almost endearing. At least... it was put in a way he didn't normally hear. "But you know what, I have to be honest with you. The way I would fuck him-" He covered his mouth trying to silence his coughing as he began spluttering on smoke. "-it's not even funny."

"What the-"

"I'm a ride he wouldn't survive; the wheels would come right off."

Was his face hot from what he was hearing or from choking? Laughter could be heard through the window, "Bitch, I need him so bad, im not even kidding." No one had ever spoken about him like this. Not that he'd heard. God it was hot all of a sudden. Is he sweating? He wiped his hand over his face and then rubbed both hands on his pants before standing up. Cigarette out on the ground, he crushed it before walking out of the smoke pit and trying not to listen to anymore of the conversation coming through the window.

Angel Of The Morning (Howzer x Fem!Reader)

You'll never get tired of this. Waking up in your lover's arms, the sunlight streaming through the viewport of your apartment's bedroom. His hair is messy from your fingers tangling in it during last night's activities. Little strands of gray run through the dark locks, but he’s so damn pretty that you could care less. If anything it adds to your attraction.

The prettiest of all, his scars are highlighted by the glow of the early morning. His beautiful scars, a testament to his determination and ability.

You’ve fallen hard.

His hum, which comes out more like a groan, pulls you from your thoughts. You smile and press a feather light kiss to his face.

“Good morning my love.”

He smiles, tilting his head up to catch your lips.

“Mornin’ Mesh’la.” He rasps, voice hoarse from sleep. “Rest well?”

You smile softly. “Very. You?”

He lifts himself onto his forearms beside you. “Never better.”

His lips rest on your collarbone for a moment, and press a tender kiss to the lightly bruised flesh, where he’d previously marked you for his own.

You’d never been more enamored with a man quite like him before. Anything he did with you was solely in love.

Howzer moves so that his legs rest on either side of you, hands holding your shoulders as he continues his kisses from your neck to your chest, gently nipping the soft flesh. The kisses trail down your torso, where he rests his head for a while, looking up at you with such love thy you might pass away right here and now.

“My perfect Cyar’ika.” He hums with a lovesick grin, causing a deep blush to creep up your neck.

You dip your head and cup his cheek. “I’m not perfect, love. But thanks anyway.”

His brows furrow. "You're perfect to me. No one else can tell you otherwise, got it?"

Maker, this man is about to reduce you to a bawling mess. "Yes sir, captain." You laugh, and you don't miss the smirk that crawls over his features.

“How ‘bout we make sure of that, hm?”

Doesn't talk about you much unless someone else brings you up first. Celestia save them if they do... Once she's started, she won't stop.

Always asking Mane 6 + Trixie for advice, who have said the same thing ("Just TELL THEM ALREADY.") a million times. She's nervous though :(

Starlight gets worried her past will affect her relationship with you. She overthinks a lot about her actions and although she may have forgiven herself, she's afraid you haven't. (Especially if you were at one point a resident of her village.)

Trixie hypes her up a lot to go tell you how she feels, only for her to slowly crawl back with whines of chickening out... ["Just wanted to say I have a massive crush on you." "Oh... Who's the other person?" "I added her for moral support." "I'm here for you girl, do your thing." (/ref)]

Kite flying dates. So many times, she's appeared at your door with kites asking you go with her because the weather and wind are just perfect. (Most of them may or may not be failed confession attempts.)

Bro is so nervous and blushy. Poor guy can hardly function.

He's already clumsy and nervous as is, but when you're around it's dialed up to 11.

Parallel play to the max, he really enjoys sitting in the same room as you and reading while you do your own things. (He may glance over every now and then and may end up staring at you until you notice and make eye contact...)

Avoids you sometimes, but not maliciously! Just because you're so cool and he always ends up stuttering or blushing too much and embarrassing himself when he's around you... :(

Cracks open a book to get some reading done but two hours later finds himself on the same page daydreaming about you.

CBS with an S/o who has a kid

It's better for his S/o to tell Christian that they have a kid a bit later into the relationship when they're both sure they can take it further.

Once his S/o does tell him though, he is surprised. He's like: "You're dating me and you have a kid??", but he also really thinks over if he wants to meet their kid because he isn't sure he's ready to be a parental figure.

He realizes the foundation of his relationship of his S/o and him depends on his connection to the life of their child, so he decides it's worth a shot.

When they do meet, the kid might get scared of him and it's up to his S/o to bond them. Christian legit gets stalked by the kid, he catches them looking at him around corners and watching him through nearly closed doors.

If the kid starts to open up and starts hugging him when he shows up at the door, there's a good chance he won't be opened up yet and lifts up his arms when the kid hugs his waist or leg, not wanting to touch them as if they're sick.

His S/o suggests he brings a gift to their kid when he comes over, so they start to trust him. So he does just that, gifting the kid candy, toys and money when they meet. He also starts kneeling down to their level to seem less intimidating.

Eventually, his S/o asks Christian to babysit their kid. He's a mix of a bad babysitter and a cool one. The kid might have to survive on only snacks and cereal but Christian will allow the kid to do things his S/o doesn't allow like jumping on the couch and he will take them anywhere they want to go.

Every once in a while Christian shares a wholesome moment with the kid. Like them playing together, him letting them sit on his shoulders, the kid falling asleep watching cartoons and him carrying them to bed, him telling them stories from his life and the outback, giving them his hat or sunglasses, dropping them off and picking them up from school, y'know all that good stuff.

Gives them nicknames like: little bugger, anklebiter, etc.

If the kid gets bullied then the bully better have a bodyguard because Christian will either take care of the bully himself or teach his S/o's kid to fight.

He might teach the kid to swear though and his S/o would immediately know whose fault it is.
