I've never done an annual fic roundup before, and I'm not sure I will again, but I wanted to celebrate the truly crazy amount of things I managed to write this year. 13 fandoms and 52 characters in 12 months! Honestly, I don't know how I managed to pull this off - thank you to everybody who sent me requests or reblogged or commented on any of my fics! The support is seriously, seriously appreciated! Questa notte è un pò sacra e speciale per me. Saluto uno spettacolo che non farò più. Esco di scena da questa storia. Perchè questo 2020 non passa per nulla. O almeno così voglio per me. Lascio “Storia d'amore e alberi”. Lo lascio, lo lasciamo, a Simona Gambaro. Lo racconterà lei d'ora in poi. E domani, o meglio, oggi domenica 27, lo farà per la prima volta e online per Teatro Argentina - Teatro di Roma prima di poterlo fare finalmente dal vivo. “Storia d'amore e alberi” è un pezzo della mia vita. E non solo per le oltre 500 repliche, ma perchè ci ho messo l'anima, le mani, il corpo e tutta la mia terra dentro. Ha debuttato, nella versione arrivata tra le mie mani, in una casa sperduta nelle campagne a sud di Brindisi. Era dicembre 2009. Tutto quello che accade prima e dopo quella replica ho ancora pudore a raccontarlo. Resta con me. Ma lo spettacolo lo lascio andar via. Perchè tutto cambia. Come un vestito che ad un certo punto va troppo largo, o come due scarpette rosse molto belle ma troppo troppo strette, come direbbero Simona e Francesco. Tutto cambia, il mondo, gli spettacoli, le storie e nel frattempo noi non siamo più gli stessi. E va così. Mi arrivò tra le mani come un dono da Francesco Niccolini che l'aveva scritto e in quest’ anno così difficile per il teatro e grazie al sostegno di amici preziosi (Vania, Emilia, Renzo, …) abbiamo lavorato Simona, Francesco e io per una nuova versione, solo per Simona. Quello che accadrà è storia di Simona alla quale voglio un mondo di bene. Crescono ancora due boschi da questo spettacolo, due boschi veri generati dal progetto di forestazione che ho fatto nascere dalla messa in scena. Per me erano importanti i boschi, forse più dello spettacolo. Ma questo è troppo lungo da raccontare ora e pure per il 26 dicembre. Esci di scena Luigi. So something crazy happened this week - I hit 1.5k followers! 🥳

Genuinely thank you all so much for following me and supporting my writing. When I first joined Tumblr, I truly never could've dreamed how wonderful the community, friends, and fandom I've found would be. I love you all so much!

I've never done a follower celebration before, but I really wanted to do one for this milestone, so here we are! It's D&D themed, but no knowledge of D&D is required to join in the fun.

Our 1.5k follower campaign is going to be running from today, May 29th, to Wednesday, June 6th. During that time, feel free to send me as many things off the list below as you like! Interacting with people on here is one of my absolute favorite parts of Tumblr, so feel free to come into my ask box as many times as you like 😄

I'll be tagging all posts for this celebration as #Sophie's 1.5k Follower Campaign. You don't have to follow me to participate, but it would be greatly appreciated. Without further ado, here are the actions you can take during this campaign:

Fictober 2024!

The prompts are officially out! Woohoo!!!

I've picked up quite a few new followers since last year, so here's how this works! Below the cut is a list of the Fictober prompts, and until each of them has been claimed/assigned to a character, requests are open! Send me the number corresponding to one prompt and the name of the character you want to see it with, and I'll add it to the list! My goal, as always, is to write a fic for every day in Fictober, and October 1st is super close, so come help me fill out the prompts with some ideas!
