You know something's a problem when the Illuminati, Templars, and Dragon work together to deal with it. And yet, this unlikely scenario is exactly what's happening as Tristan d'Eagan (Illuminati), Alexandra Bishop (Templar), and Carlos Hernandez (Dragon) find themselves driving down a dark desert highway and pulling up to an infamous hotel...
Daunting as the prospect of dealing with the spectral glue trap that is the Hotel California is, however, Carlos packed a secret weapon.
(A short Secret World Legends comic that I've been meaning to do for a while, finally made real as a bit of gift art for @paint-lady , with a hefty cameo from her character, Maru. Done in Photoshop.)

The agents are divided in teams and usually they are always together to fight the paranormal.

The members include Senhor VerĂssimo (a NPC, the Order leader), Aaron (NPC, a mysterious sniper), Balu (Played by Calango, funny guy), Arnaldo Fritz (sometimes a npc, sometimes played by Rakin, a famous actor), Chizue Akechi (a NPC, uses Katanas) and some other unknow people, now inactive;
Equipe Veterana de Varredura: Balu, Arnaldo Fritz, Johnny Tabasco (played by Alanzoka, really impulsive) and Luciano Carvalho (played by LJoga, a former military), now inactive;
Equipe Brasa: Erin Parker (played by Kalera, heavy inspired by Jinx from League of Legends), Fernando Carvalho (also played by LJoga, Luciano's husband), Luciano Carvalho and Tristan Monteiro (NPC, funny flirty guy), now inactive;
Equipe Iniciante de Varredura: The first team to be presented in the series! Its members are Alexsander Kothe (played by LJoga, a history teacher), Daniel Hartmann (played by Luba, a writer), Elizabeth Webber (played by Bagi, a medical doctor and forensic scientist) and Thiago Fritz (played by Rakin, Arnaldo's son), now inactive;
Equipe Veterana: Arnaldo Fritz, Chizue Akechi, Cristopher Cohen (played by LJoga), Francisca Parker (NPC, Erin's grandmother) and Senhor VerĂssimo, now inactive;

About Covid-19 Recovery and Response Grant:Â Â Arte SonĂdo: Voz, Comunidad, and Performance is the 3rd and final installment of a three-part interdisciplinary art project that examines Under-represented Identities: Community-Engaged Arts to Pan-Ethnic Studies through cross-campus and community collaborations that emphasize Covid-19 awareness and recovery within disproportionately impacted populations of color through a series of exhibitions, panels, workshops, 1/1 mentorship, community outreach events, and performance.From spring 2022 through spring 2023, a series of exhibitions explored the intersection of ethnicity, race, gender, sexuality, and class through autobiographical stories about cultural identity, community-building practices, project-based learning, professional practices, and hands-on activities that included applied studio art practices and research focused on the importance of sustainable and accessible community art practices. Â Workshops dedicated to art-making practices about post-pandemic meaning through 1/1 mentorship with emerging tri-county artists of color, regional community partners, and collaborative curricular art projects included engagement with CSUMB students in VPA 209: Day of the Dead Workshop, VPA 302: Visiting Artist Series, VPA 337: Community Infrastructure Practices, and HCOM 328: Latina Life Stories, HCOM 371, Community Journalism Studies, and HCOM 434: Creative Publishing and Critical Storytelling.

This is going to come as a shock to all of you readers out there, but I fucking love beating the Yankees in the Bronx. Thereâs nothing quite like it in the universe (though Iâm hoping the start Betelgeuse goes supernova in my lifetime, because in terms of cool unique things in the universe, a visible supernova, though nothing to do with baseball, would be amazing to witness... if it were to happen and coincide with the Sox kicking the shit out of the Yankees in the Bronx, all the better). For it to come in the first game of a series that follows a string of incredibly âmehâ series from the Sox is that much better. There were some oddities - Masa Yoshida didnât have a hit and neither did Adam Duvall on his first game back from the IL (that o-fer night dropped his average to .417 and OPS to 1.432... LOL). Did we make an error? Yes (A rare Connor Wong error). One of those Yankees runs was unearned. Our fielding isnât the greatest in the world, tbh. Which makes me sad. I miss 2010, with Pedey at 2nd before he broke his foot, Youk at first and the mighty Adrian Beltre at third. We didnât have a whole bunch of errors that summer. But that was thirteen years ago and while I like a reminisce as much as the next guy, it doesnât really lend itself to, you know, moving forward. Letâs focus on the now. And right now I like to feel I totally called Raffyâs dinger last night in that I said he was due, and almost as though he heard me, he totally hit a dinger in the sixth. But Iâm getting ahead of myself. There are plenty of bright sides and though I am chuffed I predicted Raffy hitting a dinger sometime in the near future, itâs not really the point of all of us being here.
Whitlock had a solid start. He scattered 7 hits over six and a third, struck out six and walked one. He gave up a dinger. It happens. And another run scored on his watch but it wasnât his fault (and the other run was technically under Pivettaâs watch but because the runner was Whitlockâs... nevermind, you folks understand how baseball works). It wasnât a groundbreaking start but it was solid and to be honest, I want all the solid starts I can get.
The bullpen allowed one inherited runner to score but that was it. Jansen allowed two hits, giving Red Sox fans all over the world aneurysms, but he didnât let it get to him and got the save.Â
Raffy Devers went two for four with a dinger and two runs scored. Really hope this is the beginning of him doing this shit all the time like we all know heâs capable of.
