Salut à toi qui a sans doute aussi la tête dans les étoiles.

Dans cette vidéo, on traverse tant les ans que les médias, passant du livre au film pour enfin arriver à la série actuellement en cours de diffusion sur AMC.

Et on se demande si, malgré (ou grâce à) ses libertés, la série ne rend pas un encore meilleur hommage que le film à la romance macabre et éternelle entre Louis de la Pointe du Lac et Lestat de Lioncourt. ... nan mais sans dec, foncez voir cette série.

On se retrouve très vite pour de nouvelles aventures.

Gui Porto - Marin studied under Leonard Bernstein. She was the director of the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (where I live) and I got to see her conduct a few times. She’s just brilliant.

TheHunterGracchus - Interesting. In Seiji Ozawa's memoirs, he said that Bernstein was, in his opinion, overly egalitarian in his approach. Unlike European conductors who would just assert their authority, Bernstein would waste a lot of rehearsal time asking the musicians what they thought. Still, as I get older and listen to more and more of Bernstein's recordings, the results speak for themselves.

Jabberwockyface F Murray Abraham exclaimed "I don't understand!" and "You go too fast!" because Tom Hulce was deliberately skipping lines in order to get a true reaction of confusion and bewilderment out of him. It was not a mistake of the script.

Archange Camilien 4:19 you know, I always thought "I don't understand" meant "I don't think that sounds good, what are you thinking?", haha...whether because it sounded too simple, not good enough, etc, he doesn't understand why a genius would want to do whatever Mozart asked him to do...and then when he ponders it internally he suddenly "gets it", he sees why Mozart wanted it the way he wanted...I never thought of it as a matter of Salieri not understanding what musical instructions Mozart was giving him...

Rachel E - This was wonderful! I loved the diversity of films and shows she analyzed. That Mr. Bean bit will always be a delight to watch.
