March 13, 2025 Trip Reflection

ok so i think i got a bit too shroomy n need to chill for a minute. i remember telling myself i didn't really want to trip the last time but I did anyway, and it brought up verily complex units within me. i was a divine being within my body, in the fucking shower like a human soaked in ego. I was a beast, a fearful and deranged thing, with shame, guilt, frustration, despair, trapped and bubbling in my chest and throat, suffocating me. I'm out of balance. the darkness festers like a dark ball of ooze restricting me from being able to neutralizing my being. I'm struggling with cleansing it, I know I need to change again but this change seems scarier. it seems I have found my way out of an extremely low frequency through mindfulness and education of the laws of the universe, one trip at a time. I change everyday. ive learned to live with my emotions, to truly just observe them. I think now I've got to interact with them, comfort them. ritualize this. I need to trust my gut way more rather than genuinely ignore it because I'm scared. literally the reality we live in is fabricated by our frequency, moldable to our will. A reflection, a dream, a mirage. I understand that, I exist in a desperate attempt to overcome myself and thrive in that understanding but there is a blockage that prohibits me from moving forward in a spiritual journey. I must worship myself as the complex reflection of yin and yang, of "The All" or God. this darkness is human, it must prevail in tandem with divinity and light. it must be balanced.

mostly just posting for the sake of cataloging but here’s pics I took on my trip last week

i went on an day trip with my uni to kyoto (哲学の道 area) for an international-domestic students event and had okonomiyaki for the first time(1-3)! my group also went to 平安神宮 and the garden right next to it. i ended up using this excursion as an excuse to do another trip with a friend, so afterwards i went to nara via the kintetsu-kyoto line. it was surprisingly cheap for the distance (no more than 1200円, iirc).

spent the sunday in nara (4-6) and went inside 東大寺 for the first time with my friend! he already had been to nara (as had i, last semester) so he took me there to show me since he liked it so much. i showed him 二月堂 too, since he didn’t know about it. we also fed some deer and i almost got pushed into a drain by one, it was pretty funny. he also got his first 御朱印 and 御朱印帳 from there, which made me smile a lot because collecting 御朱印 is a major hobby of mine at the moment.

monday was spent in kobe (7-9), we went and had ramen and i showed him my favourite shrines. he actually got me an お守り from 北野天満神社 too! i’ve been keeping it on my bag since it has a cute design and is associated with my birth month 🥲🥲. we mostly just spent the day in sannomiya before we went back to nagoya, but we’re planning to go back and see the port sometime next month depending on how busy we are. also i want a uniqlo shoulder bag with kobe-limited designs embroidered on em, they’re cute…

Visited Okazaki in Aichi prefecture today after literal months of meaning to go here. It was genuinely so lovely and I’m kicking myself for not coming sooner! Did 御朱印巡り again and now I’m four pages closer to completing my first book while my friend is just starting his off 😵‍💫 the ones we visited today are (LTR) Iga Hachimangu, Tatsuki Jinjya and Rokusho Jinjya + Sugou Jinjya (not pictured). Also bought two new お守り!

I’m doing more 神社巡り again tomorrow in the local area so I hope I can get more nice pics hehe
