Brudsporre (Gymnadenia conopsea)

Familj: Orchidaceae, orkideer

Brudsporre är en flerårig, medelstor ört som blir 10–70 cm hög. Stjälken är upprätt, ogrenig, trind och grön. Den har ingen bladrosett. Stjälkbladen är minst 5 st, strödda, långsmalt spetsiga, ca 10 cm långa och 1–2 cm breda. Knoppen har en lång sporre. Fruktställningen består av ett långsmalt ax med rundade kapslar. Som vissen står fruktställningen kvar som en ljusbrun vinterståndare.

Brudsporrens långa, mycket smala och ofläckade blad är bra kännetecken. Överblommade exemplar med långa, täta och rundade kapslar är ett annat. Blommorna är rosa, ibland vita, och utan mönster, väldoftande.
