Crazy Fic Crossover idea
I am thinking about it a lot, and i know i won't finish to write it so i am sharing my idea.
Imagine a crossover with Winx & W.I.T.C.H & Avatar : The Last Airbender & Disney Fairies :
Almost every main characters have elements as power (like water, fire...).
Because a villain tried to stop one of them (maybe in the Winx universe) some characters switched their place with other from other universes.
By Example :
Katara went to the winx's universe, Aisha/Layla went to the W.I.T.C.H.'s universe, Irma went to the Disney Fairies' universe, and Silvermist was transported in ATLA universe.
Toph went to the W.IT.C.H.'s universe, Cornelia was transported in the Winx's one, Flora went to the Disney Fairies Universe and Rosetta stayed in hers (because I want interactions between her and Irma idk why but i want it)
So to complete the ATLA Universe, Vidia went there too.
We know for sure that the Winx can go to earth (Gardenia by exemple) , the Disney Fairies too, and the W.I.T.C.H live on earth (Heatherfield). So that can make sense. For ATLA charcters it's more complicated, but we can say they live in another galaxy which is part of the magical dimension but never talked about because it's the farthest planet.
They would fight side by side and help each other. And at one point they would all be on the same planet and bound quickly with each other. Tinkerbell and Tecna, Stella and Iridessa, Trill and Musa, Bloom and Zuko. Katara and Aïsha....
(English is not my first language, sorry for my mistakes)

hello Disney Fairies/pixie hollow fandom
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1rMUxQGvUeBHujjnLHimz0bhxfrHW-aiS
someone *may* have been uploading as many of the chapter books as they could get their hands on for others to be able to read since these books are kinda hard to get a hold of.
sidenote this is not every book available this person is still working on getting everything they own scanned but...life, y'know. Hopefully everything will be uploaded by the end of this month.
(i am also on the lookout for Iridessa and the Legend of the Nevermine if ANYONE has access to that book. internet says it was only released in australia and japan but i can't find it on any resale site)
if anyone DOES have a copy of the nevermine book especially one in decent condition, would you be willing to sell it to me, or simply let me borrow it sisterhood-of-the-traveling-pants-style? or scanning it yourself?
i am also currently working on a "compendium" of sorts of information on the disney fairies universe from the books, that i'm reading through all the books to finish.

Found this in my drafts from literal years ago, so I decided to publish it because why not? I read back my original plans for it and I actually kinda like it so I might even continue it later.
Summary: When Queen Clarion requests a concert for her Arrival Day, panpipist Trill gets asked by the head of the Music talents, conductor Cleff, to perform a solo with the orchestra. Where before the last Oceanside Symphony the two had been at odds, now they respect each other deeply as musicians. Or is there more?
Because Music talents deserve more love really <3

Cinderswift (Unexpected Musical) — PattyCake Productions music video
youtube
When the PattyCake fellas set out to retell the classic rags-to-riches fairy tale of Cinderella, they turned to the music of Taylor Swift. Her songs' themes of overcoming detractors and self-doubt, learning from painful situations, and striving for a better life were a perfect fit for the story's narrative.
Details:
title: Unexpected Musicals – Cinderswift
performers: Leah Lowman (Cinderella); Matthew "Bucky" Buckner (Prince Charming / additional vocals); Andrea Stack (Lady Tremaine / additional vocals); Olivia Adkins (Anastasia Tremaine); Melanie Stringer (Drizella Tremaine); Rachel Copeland (fairy godmother); Michael Navarro (royal crier / coachman); Hannah Laird, Hannah Juliano, Layne Stein, & Tony Wakim (additional vocals)
original songs / performer: all songs by Taylor Swift — "Mean"; [0:32] "Style"; [0:55] "Shake It Off"; [1:30] "Bad Blood", feat. Kendrick Lamar; [1:50] "22"; [2:47] "Wildest Dreams"; [3:40] "I Knew You Were Trouble"; [3:55] "Love Story"
written by: "Mean" by Taylor Swift; "Style" by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, Karl "Shellback" Schuster, & Ali Payami; "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, & Karl "Shellback" Schuster; "Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, Karl "Shellback" Schuster, & Kendrick Lamar; "22" by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, & Karl "Shellback" Schuster; "Wildest Dreams" by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, & Karl "Shellback" Schuster; "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, & Karl "Shellback" Schuster; "Love Story" by Taylor Swift
arranged by: Layne Stein & Tony Wakim
release date: 14 January 2017
My favorite bits:
Leah singing ♫ "You can take me do-o-own" ♫ on a descending run as she crouches to reach the tea set
Andrea's absolute poise and stillness as Lady Tremaine
the tiny mouse chorus 🐁 (Ah, so those are the additional vocals.)
all the ladies' 90s-tastic ballgowns
those crunchy minor chords during "Bad Blood"
Rachel's bouncy, trilling vibratto throughout "22"
combining the 1950 animated dance sequence with some of the Regency-era steps from Taylor's "Love Story" video during "Wildest Dreams"
transforming "I Knew You Were Trouble" from a rueful reflection into a sinister threat
Bucky and Leah's lovely harmonies in the final song

Trivia:
The opening dedication "For Dori" refers to Layne's youngest daughter, Doris, who was about six months old at the time of this video's publication.
This video was filmed at the Luxemore Grande Estate in Winter Park, which is primarily used for weddings and other large events. The venue coordination was handled by Jaimz Dillman, who had played Sarah Sanderson in PattyCake's "Hocus Heathens" Halloween video, and has continued to feature in their projects.
Leah has reprised her role as Cinderella in several episodes of PattyCake's "Princess Academy" series, as well as their "Disney Girls Like You" video in 2019, and their original piece "If the Shoe Fits" in 2023.
According to Bucky, there were many outtakes during the dance sequence because "the boots were big on me and that dress was ginormous".
The guys had known Bucky for many years prior to casting him in this project. He'd played the Wolfman opposite Tony's Dracula in the "Beetlejuice Revue" show at Universal Studios, and joined 4:2:Five as their new baritone when Layne switched over to vocal percussion in 2004.
A fan combined the audio from this project with footage from the 1950 Disney animated film to create a fantastic fanvid.
Many of the songs in this video were also later included in PattyCake's villainous Halloween offering for the year, "Look What You Made Me Brew".
Layne and Tony had previously sung a portion of "Bad Blood" in VoicePlay's "Aca Top 10 — Summer Hits 2015" countdown.
"I Knew You Were Trouble" was the foundation for VoicePlay's 2013 "Trouble" mashup music video with Rachel Potter, which led to them competing on The Sing-Off.
The dancers in the original "Shake It Off" music video include several of their fellow reality show veterans from So You Think You Can Dance — Phillip "PacMan" Chbeeb (s.5), Du-Shaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall (s.10 winner), Jonathan "Legacy" Perez (s.6), & Melissa Sandvig (s.5).

Here we are again at the end of this magical Feybruary! Thank you everyone for following along on this magical journey for the second year! These fairies have such a special place in my heart and every time I revisit them I’m reminded of how much I loved reading the books when I was a kid. I hope this series brought back a little of that magical nostalgia for you as well! Until next year! Fly with you!

Tales of Arcadia Disney Fairies!AU
Book 25: Disney Fairies: Trill Changes Her Tune by Gail Herman
Tumblr media
👀👀👀 ooohhhhh 25! @honeyxmonkey
This is an old one from when I was a kid. I remember always wanting to read every single one of these. I have another on my shelf, but I don't know where the others went. Anyway, AU time.
Douxie is tall and shy and awkward. Only music makes him feel at ease.
He's a music-talent fairy.
Most other music-talent fairies use traditional instruments, seeing that as the only way to make music.
Douxie hears music everywhere in the world around him and wants to use anything and everything to make music.
The instrument he usually uses is a lyre made of sticks and vines.
Ngl I had to reread this book to make an AU, but here’s the idea:
Merlin takes the place of Cliff, the sparrow man who is essentially conductor of the music talents. He’s much more stiff and “traditional,” but also much more confident than Douxie.
There's an upcoming concert but something goes wrong.
There's a divide in the group and Douxie basically leads half of the music talents to create their own instruments to produce "better music", while Merlin leads the others.
The concert comes around and though it starts off like a music battle, both sides come together and learn to appreciate both music styles.
Douxie learns to have more confidence in himself and his ideas, though he also has to try and not to be too reckless. Merlin learns to appreciate other forms of music and respect Douxie a bit more.
Now these next bits aren't necessarily pertaining to the book, but I think they'd be neat to include in this AU
I'll be following the book series canon so we'll have Mother Dove, or as we're called her in the AU the Animata Rupes, or "the animated stone." Animata was once an ordinary bird, but after a great fire swept through Neverland, her feathers turned into crystals and she was given magic and wisdom.
To the fairies, Animata feels like home. She is all that is good, and she loves all of the fairies.
The fairies use her crystalline feathers (which grow back rather quickly) to create pixie dust.
Jim is a kitchen talent. He works in the tearoom kitchens with Dulce, preparing great food for all of Pixie Hollow.
Toby is a tale-telling-talent. He comes up with a lot of productions to put on the theatre and is a real showman.
Claire is a light talent. She loves what she does, but funnily enough, loves making shadows by shaping light. It's like how an artist uses negative and positive space.
She and Toby team up a lot to tell stories. Jim cooks the food for the parties and shows the three of them put on.
Aja and Krel were born from the same baby's laugh. Aja is a fast-flying talent and Krel is a tinker talent.
Krel often has to build safety equipment for Aja because she's always getting into trouble
Aja tends to run out of dust quickly and walks around most places similar to Zarina (yes she's a movie fairy, hush). Even though she gets more dust as a fast-flying fairy, she just zooms everywhere.
If you send me an ask with a number between 1-36, I'll respond with a TOA AU based on the corresponding book on my shelf.

*walks on in, faceplants tiredly, leaves after awkwardly getting up and waving, leaving a note behind* Hi, a simple very awkward anon here, how ya doing? Hopefully you're having a nice day!
Pretty sure Cadence of Hyrule Link (or as I call him in my mind Lora, after Coloratura, like the Opera term?) is his own thing, much like how Warriors is, he didn't get melded in with any of the Link's from what I can see in Jojo's lore and much like Warriors he's not in the timeline (and I've got the books with me to double check), so I'm pretty sure his adventure is his own thing, another thing I use a lot to see if there Hyrule's are in the same branch of the timeline is lay out, like is Castle Town named Castle Town or Hyrule Town, how big is Hyrule Field, where is Link's House and where is it relative to another games, does this Hyrule have things that another game has like certain songs and items etc, it helps though that's a me thing for the most part cause I'm an overthinker, Cadence of Hyrule's Link layout doesn't match Legend's or Rulie's from what I remember of his game, besides I think Legend would probably remember the time a stranger from another world wielding a shovel that's actually a bit of a grave robber and literally missing a heart broke into his place through a magic portal to wake him up for music shenanigans with a fairy called Trill, which is Cadence of Hyrule's main fairy like Proxy, Tatl and Navi because she's trying to get back to her own place and drag even more Theater Kid Vaati with her back in one go. I personally headcanon that if he's anywhere in the timeline, he's probably the inflection point between Legend and Hyrule, after Legend's time, but most likely a few hundred years before Rulie give or take, making him one of Legend's descendants but Rulie's grandfather in spirit, or he and Warriors share an era or he's on that gray area with Warriors, Calamity and Wild, though I could be wrong. It would make sense though since I headcanon he gets the Triforce of Power back from Cadence after she leaves, so that would be almost a full Triforce which could lead to the events in Rulie's era.
All I can think now is that Cadence of Hyrule Link would definitely be a theater kid with Player, like he just gets introduces them to musicals from their world and they go absolutely nuts reenacting them when they can, I can definitely see him reenacting something like Helpless from Hamilton with Player just to mess with the Chain members who outwardly simp (because, not only is he more well prepared to deal with Player's unhinged vibes because of Cadence, whom I'm pretty sure has no chill given her main weapon is a shovel, but he also probably gets not so hidden gremlin vibes from her before she's gone), or any song with those romantic and yearning vibes, and I feel like he would really love the game Bad End Theater too, it's a great game if you ask me and shockingly cheap to get.
(...Now this makes me want to have the Chain react to it, maybe I'll write that one day... Maybe)
Basically shy at the start but very determined and with the classic Link will to help people, but an absolute band or theather kid once someone pulls out an instrument or mentions music, you wouldn't get him to sing normally but once he gets going he goes full on Disney Prince, probably a great dancer too and incorporates it into his fighting style, just, draws Player into an impromptu tango dance mid battle, spins and dips them to simultaneously get them away from a stray Bokoblin and deal with it in one go (Wild and Hyrule are chugging vinegar, Warriors could never- boy is unintentionally smooth and everyone is punching the air). His Zelda is also likely very spunky, like Artemis or Flora (she literally gets on his case for breaking pots and it's hilarious, can fight like Artemis which is very rare and I bet Cadence influenced her too) and she'd probably delight in knowing Player, her, Cadence and Player would be besties through energy alone, and Cadence for having another person that knows what it's like to be impromptu isekaied and she would absolutely hit Legend with a shovel if he started anything. She's out of chills to give after Octavo's shenanigans, probably teaches Player how to effectively make a shovel a weapon too.
All I'm saying is that if Nintendo won't give Warriors, First, the Link before Wild (whom I personally call Fia, after the Celtic word for hunter, though hero of seraph sounds so metal and I just- have Many Thoughts but I wouldn't wish to bother ya with my crazy theorizing and rambling even more than I likely do XD) and him some respect and content, but they'll make the Four Swords dress up spin off apparently canon, then I guess I'll just have to do it myself even while sleep deprived.
Speaking of musicals, any favorites you have or think the Chain would have?
Also, Songstress Reader, again maybe they have an Azura from Fire Emblem deal? They can use any of the vocalized songs from the boys era and their various effects, but the more they sing the more it harms their body or it could be specific songs that harm it (Like how Azura gets harmed by Lost in Thoughts All Alone because of the curse placed on the song and on the people whose kingdom they come from), like say the Song of Time, Song of Healing, maybe their own spin on Lost in Thoughts All Alone which can purify Malice like energy and even calm down dragons out of rages, The Ballad of the Wind Fish etc, the problem is when the Chain sees the side effects (I can imagine Wild paling and outright panicking if we're going the Azura route, like, Malice like energy crawling up their body, attacking it for daring to drive it away, Player trying to muffle their pain but inevitably screaming like a Redead under the sun, it crawling up Player's body until they fade into water or wind if they over do it), though it could also be that they spit blood if they over do it, I don't know, just a thought and an excuse for the Chain to watch Player be a good singer and dance, completely at ease as the fairies relax while listening to them, or the Loftwings trying to accompany Player by chirping along or Wolfie joining in, or maybe a full blow songstress au which is niggling at the back of my head (basically it boils down to Songstress knowing Fierce Deity from way back when, and it has quite a few bad endings for each of the Songstress' till we reach LU Modern Player Songstress). Maybe I'll go more in depth into it one day when I have more energy and time.
Anyway, hope you're having a nice day today, maybe I'll come back, maybe I'll ramble about theories about the hero before Wild, who knows, certainly not me.
-A Very Awkward and Sleep Deprived Anon
Thank you for specifying! And honestly the dynamic between him and Player would sound amazing, musical shenanigans all the way!
ALSO MUSICAL FIGHT SCENE I FUCKING LOVE IT- Player's definitely enjoying it too I mean this is really main character behaviour and they love it. (The boys are salty on the sidelines as he dips Player and somehow ends up with a rose in his mouth)
Listen, idk much about Cadence but if she's truly a gremlin she's gonna do just fine with Player, besties one might say and chaos will cover the land of Hyrule within seconds.
I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to Fire Emblem so forgive me but this sounds cool! Honestly Player with musical magic just makes me really happy it's my favourite genre of magic.
(Also I would love to hear your thoughts on Seraph! Love the name Fia though ngl)

This is gonna be a pinned post of the stuff I’m currently working on lol
StEx Dinahboose series
StEx Electraboose series (that I might rebrand as more OLC). I have a lot of future parts mapped out for this that I might not write in chronological order.
StEx Dinahboose military!AU (also featuring Greased Lightning and background Krupp/Purse). Next up is the fourth chapter in which C.B. meets Elias and supports him and Greg in their secret relationship
StEx military!AU from GL perspective
StEx Dinahboose OLC-inspired one-shot: what if C.B. had been in love with her long before the championship already?
StEx Dinahboose What If? series: a series of short micro-AUs based on my main Dinahboose series, exploring what would happen if one thing went differently from how it went in the main story. Next up: what if C.B. had run away to avoid having to deal with his feelings for Dinah?
StEx Gravity Falls crack fic
LEGO BIONICLE Kopatu fic
Disney Fairies Rumble & Glimmer series. I have published a couple finished and unfinished arcs that I might continue later.
Disney Fairies Trill/Cleff thingy
Disney Fairies Chase origin story
Star Wars shit
Miel Monteur fic
And music of course. Especially the music box lullaby series, but pretty much anything.
Other projects that I haven’t started yet or don’t have any active plans of continuing but could start:
StEx Greased Lightning/Dinahboose cop!AU: in which C.B. and Greaseball (or, well, Graham) are buddy cops who go undercover in a drugs gang
StEx Greased Lightning/Dinahboose lifeguard AU
Cats Jennyanydots origin story
LEGO BIONICLE Matau trying to set up Kopaka and Lewa
StEx crack fics: sometimes a dumb idea is enough to set me off
Some StEx Spagratti (OLC Electraboose) ficlets)
H2O Rikki/Zane oneshot
Tanz Der Vampire Krolock Is A Dad series
I am literally always willing and enthusiastic to talk or get asks about any of these projects, and suggestions are also welcome! For the existing stores, for future stories or crack fics, music that I could make into a (music box) arrangement… 👀👀👀👀
Oh and also I have a very dumb RedBubble!

That one time Deceit played hero in the mindscape
Fandom: Thomas Sanders, Sanders Sides
Pairings: none
Summary: Deceit goes to the common rooms to find that everyone...is acting too much like themselves.
Notes: This was written when I was very drunk. I wasn’t sure whether to post it or not, but I went back to reread it and laughed hysterically, so here ya go. I’ve corrected the typos for readability’s sake, but left the content as a whole untouched.
Deceit needed to go to the common rooms to grab some cucumber slices for his face mask. He walked in and had the startle of a lifetime.
Roman assaulted his ears with the choir of Disney. His voice reached highs and lows of majestic content the likes of which could never be seen anywhere outside of the whole Thomasfere. Dee wasn’t even down the last of the stairs when Roman threw a bunch of roses at him.
“insert Spanish here,” Roman said suavely, an acoustic trill accompanying his every word, like as if there was a Spanish guitar dude following him everywhere just for the aesthetic.
“I understand that you’re flirting with me but not much else,” Dee said honestly, because even he had to be honest at least two times out of the whole year.
Roman, unbothered, tangoed away. That’s when Dee could really take in the rest of what was happening.
The others were there, but they were in varying phases of manic frenzy. Patton was standing on the couch, bouncing on the cushions and crying as he angrily recited that Kant dude. Yeah, he was smart. And Logan was standing in his usual spot between the couch and stairs, but he had like, futuristic holographic computer screens in front of him, like in some fanart shit, and he was gleefully going through all the tabs. Like, he probably was the sort of nerd who had fifty tabs open. His eyes were wide to take in all the screens, and despite the giant ass grin on his face, he was also crying like Patton.
“But where art Virgil?” Dee wondered aloud, scanning the vicinity until his snake eyes rolled onto the shadowed figure huddled by the wall near the entertainment center. He too cried tears of great sadness, but he was doing a funky shake that let Dee know that anxious behavior was really overwhelming. Dude.
“Is he okay?” Dee asked. Roman was still dancing, so Patton had to answer for him.
“My son is fine if you only squint at him.”
Dee looked with eyes wide open.
Virgil gave a sob of despair and shoved his head through the wall.
“That looks serious,” Dee commented.
“It’s a phase,” Patton shrugged off and began doing jumping jacks. With hoola hoops. It was a whole competitive sport by this point.
Logan snickered evilly from the side. Not used to this much emotion, Dee turned to him next. Before he could ask, Logan told him, “We’re all half banana.”
Logan was Logic, a being of truth that denied all falsehoods. He knew his stuff, and because he spoke the absolute truth, Dee screamed in horror. He didn’t want to be a banana, half or otherwise. He just wanted to be his snakey self, do a slither, smell the air with his forked tongue, bedazzle his cape maybe. Oh, and like his bowler hat. His bowler hat is really cool. It’s hat shaped.
“What has gotten into everybody?” Dee screamed in confused frustration. By now, Patton had bounced so strongly on the couch that his body had tried to breech the atmosphere itself. Sadly, a ceiling was in the way and he was currently stuck.
“Patton, mi amor, are you Gucci?” the prince asked.
“Just hanging out,” Patton said, hanging there, legs the only thing they could see.
“I don’t know how to fix this,” Logan admitted. His manic despair increased. He broke his glasses he was crying so hard. Holy crap, there’s a lampshade on my floor. It’s just sitting there, next to a santa hat? I just wanted y’all to know this. My sister used to eat lampshades too. Anyway, that has nothing to do with the story. Here we go.
“It looks like I’ll have to be the one to clean up this mess,” Dee observed. “Not that I want to,” he lied. He actually really cared for them a whole lot, and seeing them like this, losing their minds to their inner insanity, kinda made him mildly disturbed.
Dee left them where they were and went in search for a solution. He went to Patton’s room. Not because he thought there’d actually be a solution there, but because he wanted to steal some of the moral side’s clothes in case he wanted to masquerade as him again. But inside, he saw that the lights were flaring red, like if it’s world war two and you’re on a submarine and the hull has been breached and you’re not gonna make it back to that gal you swore you’d marry when the war was over. Sad face.
“This is perfectly normal,” he mused. He looked around the moral’s side’s room, thinking back to how all the sides were acting like downstairs.
They were themselves, but like . . . more so. Themselves times ten, as stereotypical as they could be. And like they wanted to damage the infrastructure. Seriously, what were they going to do about the holes in the walls afterwards?
If Patton’s room looked like this, then perhaps the problem originated from here? Each room did influence the other sides whenever they were in there. So what if . . . what if the influence had spread outside of the room? And everyone was experiencing the intensity of it?
“But why aren’t I affected then?” Dee wondered. He didn’t know that he had plot immunity. At any rate, he carried on to find a solution.
Almost too easily he found a giant lever on the wall. To the side of it was a bar reading ‘high’ up at the top and ‘low’ at the bottom. Currently the lever sat at the ‘high’ position.
Dee tutted ruefully and pulled the lever back down to a mediocre level. The red light stopped blaring and the usual fairy lights came back on. It was nice.
“That should do it,” Dee nodded to himself and went back downstairs.
Everything was back to normal except Virgil was still in the wall. Patton was out of the ceiling like normal, but Virgil was just unlucky like that.
“Sometimes I can still hear his voice,” Patton mourned his dark strange son, as if nobody could see him desperately slapping the wall where his head was embedded.
Dee sighed and went to help Virgil out like old times.

Do you know some good narusaku fics that don't shit on sasuke or ship him with anyone else? I used to be a huge NS fan but kind of got out of touch with it. Plus I adore Sasuke and personally don't want him with anyone. Unless it's me of course 😏
I sure do! To me the ones without Sasuke in them at all are the best since I just try to avoid his existence altogether, LOL.
Summaries are by their respective authors.

Watch as young Shinachiku Uzumaki, son of Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno, embarks on his first real adventure, all the while his parents find themselves unearthing a plot that could spell disaster for the Hidden Leaf Village and the world as they know it. Will their love survive? NaruSaku. [Complete]

In a classical music mood at the moment. So, this isn’t a comprehensive list but here’s some classical UT.
If i had to recommend a classical song for Undyne, it would HAVE to be 1812 Overture. For people who don’t understand... the guy literally included FULL ARTILLERY CANNONS TO BE BLOWN IN THE FINALE HE WANTED IT TO BE THAT PASSIONATELY LOUD AND AGGRESSIVE (Most versions have these annoying bells playing over the finale aswell but meh)
Papyrus is all i think of listening to a good upbeat version of Swan Lake’s Danse de cygnes Allegro moderato It’s even got the Nyeh heh heh quality about it (wow typing out the long title makes me sound like such a music nerd which i’m not lol)
Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy is pretty good at creating that tense feeling even though the thing sounds light and innocent. Which I think works well for Flowey. At the same time i like thinking about it as the background music of the forest area in Snowdin because of the wintery feel it gives off.
Waltz of the Flowers is a pleasant fit for Toriel’s character when you first meet and just the Ruins entirely. You can hear the regality in it, but it’s subtle. The whole thing’s just so pleasant to experience, just like at the start of the game. You’re curious. The ruins is this fun and interesting place and there aren’t really any stakes just yet.
Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu Op. 66 sums up some pretty immense emotional conflict, which interestingly enough I think goes well with how Frisk must feel with those first times facing Toriel. Like, imagine the moments where it suddenly calms down in the middle being when they’ve had to reload after dying/killing Toriel and just waking up in this contrastingly loving environment. Then they thrust straight back into it again going down those stairs.
In the Hall of the Mountain King I like to think as all the running away from Undyne you do in Waterfall. Like, you have to try and sneak away from her and once she catches sight of you it’s dammit dammit dammit RUNNNNN. ...The amount of bass going on there combined with the high stakes of the finale bit also gives off some Megalovania vibes but it’s a bit of a stretch in my opinion.
So this one’s not perfect (I might be projecting a lot) but the whole play with Alphys and Mettaton I’d associate with Can Can from Orpheus in the Underworld. Let me explain... see, the upbeat-ness and trill i think of not as enthusiasm but anxiety from Alphys. And the loud trumpets and everything become Mettaton’s flamboyancy out-shining her inputs with his shows. I mean, reflecting on the experience, the whole game Alphys put you through just to be part of your story was a pandemonium of nonsense.
So I can picture how Flowey’s trick at the end of a true pacifist, capturing everyone at their most vulnerable and becoming the Absolute God Of Hyperdeath then Frisk overcoming him by reaching out into the depths of his soul and trying to SAVE your friends tying in really well with the Swan Lake Finale. The only problem with it is that i don’t think it includes what I’d want for Asriel’s speech at the end with Frisk after he’s been saved himself. Those softer references to Asriel I’d link with the start of Swan theme instead.
For the Frisk uncovering the amalgamates, Aquarium (from Carnival of the Animals) is just the right levels of creepy. Or... if you’re feeling in the mood for it... Gaster references would be pretty cool with it aswell.
Chopin’s Ballade Op. 23 No. 1 (the sad one you might know Shigatsu Wa Kimi no Uso aka Your Lie in April ) I simply have to add on this list because it’s still pretty high up there as one of my fav piano pieces of all time. So this is the one I’m going to use for Sans coming to terms with the fact that Papyrus is dead in genocide runs. But in all honesty, I think that Ballade Op. 38 No. 2 is actually a better fit for the whole thing. So I’ll suggest this one as how Sans would deal with it in a neutral run, where he’s just left to reflect on how everything played out with bitter hindsight, now being unable to do anything about it. (I really think that the feels for Sans losing his bro in neutral runs must be so much different than genocide for him. Watching the human bother to act kindly with other people... so why not him??? Still keeping an eye out, still remaining passive. Just mourning his brother left feeling empty without any explanation of why)
Night on Bald Mountain gave me serious nightmares as a kid (it’s the music in the freaky demon scene from Disney Fantasia). This one has to be given to truly the scariest character in the game. You. Here’s an ode to all those players that partnered up with Chara and gave those monsters a bad time.
And mannn I wish i could go on. But I’m falling asleep right now as i type. So I’ll stop. Maybe i’ll make some part 2 some day. Also, i wanted to add music reference links but the problem with classical music is that each version’s different which makes picking one really annoying

Hello! I really like your blog, I've loved the Disney fairies franchise since I was a kid! I actually own the three original novels written by Gail Carson Levine, and 2 of the chapter books starring Tink. Have you read any of the books? Do you have a favorite?
Thank you so much! I’ve read all the books (have some of them physically and all of them digitally), but only after I’d seen most of the movies because the books were never big where I live, I only became a fan as a teen.
I love Quest For The Wand and Tink, North Of Neverland a lot, and of course Trill Changes Her Tune because it’s about musicians lmaooo
But honestly I love all of them, I love the world building they offer

Snow Spears and the Seven Dwarves (Unexpected Musicals) — PattyCake Productions music video
youtube
There's an element of fantasy and fairy tales in modern pop culture stardom. Celebrities can be plucked out of obscurity and thrust into positions of power they're unprepared for, or toppled from their pedestals for superficial reasons.
When the guys of PattyCake Productions were considering how to make their debut / proof of concept to the world, they leaned into their greatest strengths — music and visual storytelling. Layne and Tony built on their experience with VoicePlay's musical medleys and expanded that idea into a full story arc. Blending the music of one of the biggest singers of the late 90s with a timeless childhood narrative (not to mention incredible costumes, sets, and a wealth of talent from among their theme park friends) resulted in this incredibly fun reimagining of a Disney classic.
Details:
title: Unexpected Musicals – Snow Spears and the Seven Dwarves
performers: Olivia Adkins (Snow White); Michelle Knight (Queen); Layne Stein (magic mirror); Tony Wakim (huntsman); Jason Tibbs (Prince); Jen Vargas, Tymisha Harris, Robin Buda, Kathy Castellucci, Jose Rodriguez, Tina Fleming, & Charlie Crook (dwarves)
original songs / performer: all songs by Britney Spears — "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman"; [1:20] "I'm A Slave 4 U"; [1:45] "Boys"; [2:12] "Till the World Ends"; [2:45] "Toxic"; [3:45] "Hold It Against Me"
written by: "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" by Max Martin, Rami Yacoub, & Dido Armstrong; "I'm A Slave 4 U" by Chad Hugo & Pharrell Williams; "Boys" by Chad Hugo & Pharrell Williams; "Till the World Ends" by Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Alexander Kronlund, Max Martin, & Kesha Sebert; "Toxic" by Cathy Dennis, Christian Karlsson, Pontus Winnberg, & Henrik Jonback; "Hold It Against Me" by Max Martin, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, & Bonnie McKee
arranged by: Layne Stein & Tony Wakim
release date: 29 August 2016
My favorite bits:
the flute trills in the "Not A Girl" orchestration to emulate Snow's songbird friends so that they didn't have to show them on screen
Snow harmonizing with the echo in the well
bassy Layne as the magic mirror & Tony's cameo as the huntsman
the dwarves' jaunty whistling à la "Heigh Ho" during "Boys" (and the fact that most of them are women)
using "Toxic" to underscore the Evil Queen's poisoned apple machinations 🍎
Michelle switching between two different timbres for the Queen and the Hag
the slightly spicier tone of the Prince's introduction due to the choice of "Hold It Against Me"
also, the screen-accurate costuming — Holy moly, Tony.

Trivia:
The final scene had to be filmed over the course of four days in order to get consistent lighting in the outdoor location.
Olivia later reprised her role as Snow White in several other Unexpected Musical videos, and in the Princess Academy series.
Michelle has reprised her role as the Evil Queen for many episodes of their Villains Lair series. When she appears, the visual effect of Layne's face as the magic mirror is often reused in the background.
Michelle has also played Snow White in a satirical musical called Disenchanted! that began at the 2011 Orlando Fringe Festival and had an off-Broadway run a few years later.

If you're still taking fic requests... SorMik in any Disney AU? Idk I'm a sucker for Disney AUs ^^;
THIS GOT FUCKING LONG I’M SORRY
--
As was custom when talk of marriage came up, Mikleo set offfrom the palace and into the forest. As prince, he was aware that it was hisfate to be married off to secure a trading alliance or some such banality – he wasunder no such illusions that he had the option to pursue some sort of courtlyromance, but the idea that he was expected to be eager, or even excited, whenthe topic came up? That was theridiculous part, far more ridiculous than the concept of him plucking at a luteunderneath some garden window.
He would cooperate – no more and no less – and would takeevery opportunity to abscond from overhearing the constant gossip of the noblesand staff about his upcoming match. And so, he was here, settling himself intoa forest clearing with his notebooks and sketch paper. He might as well getsome work done on his book and not waste an afternoon.
It was then that a breeze picked up, sweeping up his notesand carrying them away into the trees. Mikleo despaired, but leapt to his feetto doggedly chase down months of work. It took him the better part of an hourto track down the scattered pages, and was still missing the better half of hissketches. He expected to find them muddied in a soggy ditch, or torn to shredsby an enterprising partridge for its nest.
He did not expect to find them being admired by a youngpeasant boy.
The boy seemed to finally take notice of Mikleo’s staring, and looked up, blinking, from the pages; with eyes green as the canopy above.
“Are these Elysialarks?” the boy asked, pointing to theavian sketches. “They’re great, but the pinion feathers are just slightly offin shape, and the notes on nesting patterns…”
--
They had talked in the forest for hours, and Sorey could notbe more in love.
He wandered back home as if in a dream, clenching andunclenching his hand – he could almost still feel Mikleo’s hand in his, but hewouldn’t have to wait long, no, he’d promised to come for him tomorrow eve, forSorey’s birthday, to compare more notes on flora and fauna and talk about histravels. Mikleo was a scholar and an artist, and Sorey had never met someone sogentlemanly…well, he’d never met another human period, really, but Sorey wasquite certain that Mikleo was the picture of a storybook prince. He might notknow the tailfeathers of an Elysialark from the butt of a sparrow, but his eyessparkled with intelligence, and his laugh was like music, and the sheer warmthof his presence sparked within Sorey an easy familiarity. Surely it was justMikleo’s charm – Sorey was sure he’d never forget meeting someone like himbefore.
Sorey sighed happily as he swung open the door, eyes dartingaround eagerly for his grandfather.
“Gramps! I met someone in the forest, he’ll be here for mybirthday dinner tomorrow night; we were talking about his book, he writes books, and even draws for them, and he wants to travel all over the world to write and draw and I--”
“—will be leaving tonight for the palace,” Gramps said, firmly. He rose from his armchair. Sorey’s face went blank at the sight of thewings on his back. “Sorey. I’m so sorry, but we have much to discuss about yourupcoming birthday.”
--
Sorey had begged, and pleaded, and even had the wild thoughtthat he might be able to run, run away after where Mikleo had rode back home onhis white horse. Gramps simply stood there, his mouth drawn into a thin, firmline.
He had been confined to this tiny forest grove his wholelife. When he tried to sneak outside the limits of where Gramps allowed him togo, he always found himself turned around, disoriented, and mysteriously on thepath back home. Sorey had always chalked it up to a bad sense of direction, andthe confirmation of fairy magic turning him roundabout was cold comfort.
He’d been a prisoner, lied to his whole life. And now, whenhe had just seen a light from the outside world, when he’d just found someonehe couldn’t bear never to see again…he was being ripped away, spirited offagain, being sent off to marry a stranger because of some agreement his parentshe never knew came to. He’d happily live his whole life in his forest birdcageif it meant he could see Mikleo again.
Sorey laid his head on the ornate desk in the palace room, his eyes staring at nothing. His favorite feather hair tie had been cast awayby the royal dressers, and his long hair had been yanked into an ornate twistof braids, pinned and secured to the crown atop his head. Gramps had left himto his own devices after failing to convince Sorey of the necessity of thiseighteen-year-long charade, and the stone room felt cold and empty despite itsrich furnishings.
He thought of Mikleo knocking on the door to an emptycottage, and squeezed his eyes shut.
It’s simply unfair.
The voice murmured in Sorey’s ear, though the room was empty.
Treating you as just apawn in this political power play. Not caring about their charge’s happinessone whit.
An eerie purple mist began to gather in the room’s center, and Sorey slowly drew himself up to look at it, as if in a trance.
The mist became corporeal in the form of a spinning wheel. Araven with glinting purple feathers perched upon the wooden wheel, and spreadits wings, cawing sharply at the point of the spindle.
Why not throw a wrenchin their plans? Sleep, young prince, sleep until this whole wretched kingdom isdust.
--
Mikleo had been there, at that christening. He had been soyoung, and could recall little but a few flashes of memory. The tiny foreign princein his cradle, giggling and reaching for Mikleo as he peered over the sidesuspiciously. His mother’s voice in his ear, teasing him about sneaking a peekat his future fiancé. Then the horrible stench of darkness, the terrifiedshouts of the nobles, and the impossibly tall figure looming over the prince’scradle; tainting the gifts of the fairies with his awful curse. The lightning strikesstreaking through the air, chasing the terrible creature from the hall, but toolate, too late, too late.
When he was older, he learned more of the events of thatnight by eavesdropping on his uncle’s meetings with his advisors. A death curseon a baby, all because of a jilted party invitation. Mikleo had known fairieswere petty, but as far as he was concerned, this was a new low.
He’d known that his infant fiancé had been taken into hiding. He could surmise that the ones harboring him would have to be powerful –powerful indeed to keep the dark fairy lord at bay. Mikleo considered himself afairly intelligent lad, and well able to keep up with shrewd politicalmovements, whether they were inter-human or inter-fairy. He was perfectlycapable of putting two and two together regarding the mysterious boy in thewoods, with the same sparkling eyes that had gazed at him from that cradle.
So why he hadn’t anticipated being ambushed by the darkforces on his way back to Sorey’s cottage…well, he could only blame himself.
It was a mystery why the dark forces hadn’t killed him onthe spot, but the morals of the fairies were beyond human comprehension – as ifMikleo cared to understand at this point, chained as he was to a wall in somedark dungeon. Perhaps they were keeping him as a plaything, content to sit backand watch him stew and quiver in impotent rage, anxiety, and despair.
What had they done to Sorey and his grandfather? The cottagewas empty when Mikleo came by; empty save for a squad of cackling littlegoblins that leapt upon him before he could reach for his knife or bow. IfMikleo could just loosen his chains, he would turn his miserable wreck of acastle upside-down looking for him, if he could just—
“Sup.”
Mikleo looked up, startled. The door to his cell opened, anda young-looking fairy girl strolled in, twirling her umbrella idly. She lookedMikleo up and down, and raised an unimpressed-looking eyebrow.
“A scrawny little nerd chained to a wall. This is where wehave pinned our hopes.”
Mikleo was too baffled to respond. An older-looking fairywoman tapped in behind her. Her red dress stood out starkly against the darkdungeon walls, and the jingle-jangle of the keyring she dangled in front of herface was a beautiful sound indeed. She smiled warmly.
“We’ve come to rescue you!” she trilled. “Come now, you’vegot a prince to save.”
The young fairy girl wandered out the door as the womanunchained him. “Mind the goblin corpses on your way out.”
--
Mikleo staggered up the stairs, taking step after painfulstep. The dark fairy lord made a fiercesome opponent indeed, even without thewhole dragon business at the end. But an enchanted arrow to the heart had finallyspelled his undoing, allowing Mikleo to make his way through the forest ofthorns that surrounded the once-lively palace. All its people slept like thedead, dreaming where they stood, frozen in time.
He had made his way through the streets, slow under theweight of his wounds and exhaustion. He made his way into the palace proper, tothe stairs leading to the highest tower. And here he stood, at the door leadingto the room where the fairies had laid the sleeping body of the prince.
Mikleo pressed his forehead to the door, and took a momentto catch his breath. He couldn’t imagine how Sorey was feeling right now -- hewondered, was he dreaming of his forest cottage, dreaming of a time beforeMikleo stumbled into his life? Mikleo couldn’t help but feel as though he wasthe walking catalyst for something Sorey would never want…shackled into amarriage he never chose for himself, chained to serve a kingdom he never knew.
Perhaps it would be kinder to let him dream a better life.
Mikleo opened the door, and limped into the tiny tower room.Sorey lay on a plush bed; the stained glass window overhead casting colors ontohis sleeping face. Wrapped in velvet robes and sporting a crown of braids andgold, he looked the picture of royalty – so different from the sunshine-facedforest boy that Mikleo had spent an unforgettable afternoon with.
They had talked of so many things. Mikleo told him about histravels to the oceans, and the mountains – of great canyons carved out overthousands of years by a single river’s flow. He told him of great cities withmassive libraries, of ancient temples and ruins, all but lost to man- andfairy-kind. Sorey drank in every word – it seemed like his heart was filled tobursting with the very thought of such amazing things out there in the world.Things that Sorey could never see, locked into an endless dreaming sleep.
A kiss would break the sleeping spell, the fairies hadexplained to him. It was all Sorey’s adoptive grandfather, a venerable elder ofthe fairies, could do to soften the deadly curse the dark fairy had placed uponhim. Just a simple kiss. Then, he’d explain everything to Sorey. Apologize fornot immediately voicing his suspicions on Sorey’s lineage when they met, acknowledge that Sorey might never forgive him. Promise him that he wouldrefuse this whole ridiculous marriage foisted on them by their parents andallow Sorey to be free to explore the world, with or without him.
Just a simple kiss. Mikleo knelt by Sorey’s bedside, andleaned in to gently press his lips to Sorey’s.
After a long moment, he felt Sorey sigh in contentmentagainst his mouth. Mikleo drew back just enough to see Sorey’s eyes flutteropen.
Sorey’s lips curved into a smile.
“Good morning, my prince.”
