"The one you know as Blumiere died long ago.. now.. there is only Bleck!"
Sad man Blumiere because that's how I imagine he is when he isn't out and about with his evil plans.. stewing in the bowels of Castle Bleck with the Prognosticus at his hands.

Super Paper Mario Timeline:
This has actually been done for quite some time, I just forgot to post it, but here is a decently comprehensive timeline of the important events of the 1500 years preceding Super Paper Mario. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1w_sWU5LxkszlbWLoqTJRhTvuYY9AAU8pUnMbHtCNxCc/edit?pli=1
I may eventually get around to the rest, but the periods of 3000 and 2000 years ago are more unclear and contentious than the era of the Sages, as well as having less concrete information to draw from, so those probably won't be done for a while. Feel free to leave any feedback and ask any questions, I'm always happy to respond!

Wanted to try my hand at character design for Blumiere / Bleck, especially in how he changes as time passes and he turns his back on his heritage and culture. -Shaves his hair to resemble his father less -Abandons Tribe of Darkness garb in favor of clothes from Timpani's culture -Abandons the Star Point Brooch after turning against The Ancients -Wore glasses when his perspective of the world was better, wears a monocle when it's out of focus -Covers his hands because he's closed himself off from truly interacting with the worlds around him -The blue light he's named for is replaced with a hateful flame -Wears a big hat because he's a dramatic ass bitch (Also I imagine Blumiere in his early-mid 20s and Bleck in his late 50s.)

I was very curious of the handwriting in the dark prognosticus. At the beginning of SPM, you see the dark prognosticus open up and quickly flip through pages. Usually it’s too blurry to see, but I went ahead and enhanced the image and I am now in love with the ancient handwriting. So swirly and decretive. It’s fitting of them. Enjoy the enhanced images. I will just sit here amazed at the details.

I was working on a my version of Blumiere's Father: i think i will call him Noirebert because his son's name has french origins (Blumiere = Blue + Lumiere. "Lumiere"means "light" in French. So his father's name is Noirebert (Noir + Robert/ Albert?)

I don't think so. The Tribe of Darkness often eliminated mixed entities to avoid "tainting the bloodline", and Dimentio looks like he's one of those mixed beings, since he has the lower body of a human but the floating hands of whatever the hell Blelck is, so the Tribe would absolutely try to kill him.
Has anyone else noticed the similarities between Dimentio and Count Bleck? Their designs are pretty similar. The cloak with a head and a hat look is only shared by them. They both have one glowing eye for Grambi's sake! But what does this mean? Was Dimentio a member of the tribe of darkness?

Cracking the Bone
This comic was created to introduce people to the pathos of Werewolf: the Apocalypse so as to introduce the upcoming reference guide for it: Werewolf: the Essentials. A team of dedicated fans and scholars on the setting have amalgamated all the best of WtA into an easy to parse format, coming to Storytellers Vault this November 30th! At long last, all the deep lore on Garou Society and the denizens of the tellurian are coming together into a single series of references that span the entirety of their lore, condensing thousands of pages into a single series.
Enjoy, and don't forget to share with your friends and follow this account and @werewolfessentials to stay up to date on news!
A very special thank you to @mekanikaltrifle for illustrating the comic, and to @wolfgirlbites @excelgarou @redratt @balthazarslostlibrary and @bekandrew for their contributions to writing this!

Most of the information you talk about here is accurate, but I think the theory has a few issues. By "impure", I assume you're meaning those whose bloodlines are a mixture of the families that comprised the Tribe of Darkness and those they consider "human". But the reason that the Tribe of Darkness avoided mixing with people outside of those families was because they wanted to maintain their own magical power. They didn't fear the danger or power of "impure bloodlines", in fact it was the exact opposite. They thought it would dilute their power if they did so. Also we know at least Nolrem (who, based on what Carson says, is one of many) is a descendant of the Tribe of Darkness and also Ancients outside of it. This would make him a perfect example if there were a hidden power that "impure" bloodlines possessed that neither regular Ancients nor members of the Tribe of Darkness had. But he isn't really ever hinted to be especially powerful compared to Merlon or the other Ancients. Granted, we never see him actually use his power, but still, you'd think it'd be mentioned. Also the Tribe of Darkness split off either 1500, or as some argue, 2000, years ago. So for Dimentio to have been the origin of the Tribe of Darkness's fear of mixing bloodlines, and for Timpani to have seen Dimentio being thrown out of the tribe, that would make Timpani many hundreds of years old, and also easily hundreds of years older than Blumiere. Which... doesn't seem especially likely.
Dimentio
A more deep investigation about this emblematic character.
Tumblr media
His name is a pun on "dementia" and "dimension". Like Mario and Mimi, he can flip between dimensions, but he can also manipulate them (an ability he shares with Merloo).
A theory says that the surviving son of the pixl inventor is his ancestor.
In the english version, Tippi seems to inmediatly recognize Dimentio upon encountering first. However, in the original Japanese script, her reaction is more ambiguous, afirmaning that Dimentio is one of the Count's minions.
Dimentio originally intended for Dimension D to multiply his power by 256. Upon winning the battle against him, the player character claims that the dimension made them more powerful as well, leaving everyone's stats unchanged relative to each other. This may be a homage to 8-bit storage capacity: 8-bit integers have 256 possible values, so adding 256 (although not multiplying by it) will overflow the integer and result in no net change.
The void is absent from the background of this dimension.
According to Carson, Dimentio approached the Count on his own, wishing to join him. While he was turned down once, he was hired after Bleck read about someone having a similar role in the Dark Prognosticus...
My theory: Dimentio is impure. But not the son of Blumiere or Timapni. The tribe of darkness knew the power and monstrosity of the impures thanks to him. As the tribe saw how dangerous it was and the consequences it would bring, he was left forgotten along with his parents. Maybe that's why he's an impure. For this reason, Timpani, in one of his many visits, was able to see him and his family being thrown out of the tribe. Since he has floating hands and teleportation powers, just like the Count Bleck.
But his mask doesn't let us see how he really is...
Aditional information:
Catch Card: 195
HP Max: 80
Attack: 4
Defense:
Score: 8000
Card Description: Dimentio is Count Bleck's dimension-bending mercenary. The question is, do psycho jesters get good benefits?
Tattle: That's Dimentio... A magician who works for Count Bleck... He's like an evil clown... He'll use many magic tricks, including making doubles of himself... It's hard to get a read on this suspicious character...

Quotes:
"And so I arrive, like a sudden windstorm at a kindergarten picnic!"
"Ah ha ha. Finally, you arrive!"
"Yes, yes, no one likes the icky stuff... Yessss... A perfect world... Sounds magical!..."
"It would be so very DULL if your journey ended so easily... Instead, it ends with...magic!"
"It is truly enchanting to finally meet my hapless victims."
"You must be Bowser. I knew the moment I saw the flailing nubbins you call arms."
"Well met, lady. Your beauty is as refreshing as a slap to the face on a crisp winter day!"
"At last, the hero... I know of you from the festival of hair that dances upon your lip!"
"Now we must duel, like two gleaming banjos on a moonlit stoop!"
"Can you pierce this...illusion?"
"Your blows are like miniature jackhammers wielded by tiny, angry road workers!"
"The next time we meet, you will feast on a deadly eight-course meal!"
"I am not violent by nature, you know. I'd prefer to settle this peacefully, in fact."
"Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Again, for dramatic effect! AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA."
"You've proven to be worthy foes in the past, so I'm not going to make it easy."
"I'm saying that you no longer have value to me, so I'm ending your games."
"And so I strike, like an unseen dodgeball at an echoing gymnasium!"
"Ciao!"

Every slenderverse series eventually reaches a point where you have to ask yourself “Is this even about slender man anymore or is it about the real horror that is the irrevocable actions of mankind”

Hi I saw a post of yours where you mentioned that Dimentio was likely Merloo and I just want you to know that I am going to be unwell about it Forever thank you
Happy to hear it, that means a lot! I have a more in-depth reply, but as usual, it's too long for Tumblr, so I put it all into a doc instead. (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AEI6m4hou1A6ME9K_NoVkFBopxowN9Ql4XuEuMt8cc8/edit)

Another big one and the first that really branches out into the other clans
I know Warrior Cats isn't known for genetic accuracy (as should be clear from these trees) but I did laugh when the two grey tabbies ended up with tortoiseshell and brown kits
On that note, I was going to make Bumblestripe silver to get darker stripes, but neither Millie or Graystripe are silver so that was a no go. Briarlight's now dark grey and Blossomfall has marbling white to give her a petal effect
Blossomfall's children are all black-based now instead of having any ginger, then Pine and Breeze are cinnamon and fawn because I was feeling generous after changing so many cats
