On Friday Adam took me to Sprinkles. It's been a weekend of treats and time together, relaxing with video games, movies and good conversation. Adam has had a few days on annual leave which has been really nice, I miss him in the evenings. Tonight is the last night so we are going to spend it with food, tasty food and an episode of the walking dead. I think this is a great shot of Evie and I walking together across the causeway to St Michaels Mount down in Cornwall. It's the last full day of our holiday today. It's raining but that's okay. We are going to head out in a few hours to enjoy it anyway. We are also having a meal out this evening and will be getting our things packed for an early leave tomorrow morning. Cornwall has so many wonderful things to see. This time of year is always a bit of a weird one and reminds me how far I've come. Five years ago I was packing up my home to leave the West Midlands and come home to Hampshire as a single parent. I lived in a women's refuge sharing a small room with my two year old for ten long months. My life is SO different now. I am a working mum, I am healthier - mentally and getting there physically and in a loving, happy relationship. Oh I am so ill. I've had a horrid cough for two weeks and it seems to now be turning into an infection. I was so unwell for all of January and now have been suffering since the beginning of march.
