Undoubtedly the most famous of the Czechoslovakian / East German fairy tale film cooperations, it is often hailed as a European fairy tale classic and a feminist iteration of the age old story of Cinderella. Though most of the cast were Czech, the film also became a cult classic in the GDR and later reunified Germany.

Libuše Šafránková (1953-2021) plays the part of the abused orphaned stepdaughter who goes on to marry the prince after setting him a riddle.

Karel Svoboda (1938-2007) was a beloved Czech composer who created the famous soundtrack for this film as well as other children's classics.

Hailed by critics as “a modern feminist take on the classic fairy tale” and “a European cult classic”, Tri orísky pro Popelku is a beloved wintry Czechoslovak/East German fairy-tale film that continues to be a popular Christmas classic in several European countries. The plot is based on a Czech variation of the classic Cinderella fairy-tale, written by the 19th century female writer Božena Němcová.

In the movie, a young woman, forced by her stepmother and stepsister into unpaid servitude, is gifted with three magical hazelnuts that can grant wishes. With their help, the girl’s life is changed dramatically as she manages to attend a ball forbidden to her, there catching the eye of a royal prince.

There’s also a recent Norwegian remake of the film, Tre nøtter til Askepott (2021; Three Wishes For Cinderella).

Absolutely! On some days it might take a bit thanks to work, but I get so hyped for every comment and will definitely reply to each! <3

Have you ever received hate on a fic? 

I once had someone tell me my English wasn’t good enough and another time someone saying a story was too boring and stereotypical, but that was years ago and I guess I got lucky till now ^^° *fingers crossed*

Do you write smut? If so what kind? 

Yes I do. Started late but now I do, sometimes and depending on the story. I try to shake things up a bit, but mostly I use smut to portray the relationship of the characters. Or to finally do something about the sexual tension XD I rarely write pwps tho, since I usually write more action-driven.

Have you ever had a fic stolen? 

Not that I know of *fingers crossed*

Have you ever had a fic translated? 

Yessssss! *_* Some amazing people translated a few of my ramking fics into russian and another awsome person translated a cherry magic fic into Vietnamese <3

What’s your all time favorite ship? 

Shin/Neo/Miw. Can’t get away from them, no matter how small the fandom is by now.

Whats a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will? 

Another Asgardian Tragedy (Thor). I had PLANS™ but I won’t go back into the right mood and fandom for that one.

I also have a few RamKing ideas which I started but which I probably won’t continue bc I’m at another place now.

What are your writing strengths? 

Apparently I’m good at breaking hearts?? And definitely the bickering :P

What are your writing weaknesses? 

not getting lost in the thoughts of the characters and I am fighting a lot with endings. Also keeping sentences shorter v.v

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? 

If it fits the scene and the characters, why not? Just make sure to research if it’s not a language you speak yourself. And don’t overdo it.

Unser modernisiertes Aschenbrödel arbeitet im Dienstleistungsgewerbe, der Prinz ist Student. Sie haben Namen und die Geschichte ist nur grob nach der filmischen Vorlage von 1973 erzählt. Auch andere Charaktere, die zu nennen angesichts des Kult-Nischendaseins dieses Films wohl nicht notwendig sein dürfte. Sie enthält außerdem Elemente des Films "Coming Out" (1989) von Heiner Carow. Alles in allem ist es wohl eine an der Romantik im Allgemeinen und E.T.A. Hoffmanns "Der goldene Topf" im Speziellen orientierte Gesellschaftskritik.

Es empfiehlt sich eventuell, die Filme zu schauen. Letzterer ist auf YouTube mit Spanischen Untertiteln zu finden:
