Sharing as part of the BuckTommy Tevan fandom spreading some love this Christmas Eve with @alliwantforchristmasislou

2024 brought us the return of LouFerrignoJr as #TommyKinard on The911onABC as a new Love interest for #EvanBuckBuckley.

This pairing was a pleasant surprise & the public response was beautiful! When a couple comes along, you know it's meant to be when they just make you smile. And for Buck to come out as Bi has inspired many to also be true to themselves.

Mr. LFJ has been a pure ray of sunshine & an amazing addition to the cast. In November, the couple parted ways, & the audience response was clear: Bring Tommy back. Seeing Buck happy was beautiful & this story elicited huge emotional responses.

Their parting left an impact because it felt sudden & very open-ended. Both characters clearly want each other. This can't be over .Let's see BuckTommy finally find their happily ever after & explore all the trials & tribulations that come with it.

As part of the AllIWantForChristmasIsLou event this Christmas Eve, donations are being made to the TrevorProject in honor of the happiness & inspiration this couple brought and brings to the LGBT community. TheTrevorProject

HEYA FOLKS!!! This isn’t a stardew post, but pride is coming up, so I want to reiterate some important things before we start celebrating

- if you can, stay away from corporate pride collaborations, unless they directly donate or support queer organizations!! (Ie trevorproject, transhealth, etc.)

- If you attend protests or marches, and are worried about self defense, do not bring pepper spray, bring a bright flashlight!! Don’t bring anything that can be turned into a weapon against you.

- Pride is, and always has been a month of rebellion, protest, and queer rage, and it’s important to remember the roots of pride, including the more hard to face parts, not just the celebration. we carry the message of our mothers, our fathers, our parents, and all those who have supported us in the past.

- Support queer owned businesses especially!!! (Don’t think this one needs explanation, this isn’t also pride specific, but especially during june :])

- if you live in a place in which it isn’t as safe to be queer, stay safe. it’s always important to prioritize your safety and the safety of others, and i can assure you, even if it’s not tomorrow, things will get better.

- We have a lot of eyes on us during pride, especially in protests, so take this opportunity to share other messages. it isn’t solely a month of just queer protest, but uplifting the voices of those less heard. If you feel the need to, with your pride pin, wear a palestinian or ukrainian as well!!

As always, stay safe, stay healthy, and make this world just a little bit gayer my friend :D

This Pride we were trying to figure out a way to give back to the community and what better way to do that than with my hair painting skills! So this month and beyond At @tomahawksalon you can get a rainbow or trans flag tape-in hair extension installed with a $25 minimum donation to an LGBTQI charity of your choice. Don’t know which one to choose? We have a list of 8 that we like. But feel free to pick one in your home town or a place that is really attacking the lgbt community. Ps. Dear family of Christ - we need to do better! The Christian church is literally causing the death of countless LGBTQIA+ teens with their messages of hate and intolerance. Yes, “not all churches”, but ENOUGH that it makes these teens want to end their life. We have to raise our voices louder! We need to speak up more! So that these kids know that they are loved and accepted EXACTLY as they are! That God created them and loves them! That they are not sinful just for existing. I'm going to be evaluating The Trevor Project and their vanity metrics on social media! It is a well known organization that provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth. It has a LARGE presence on various social media platforms including Instagram , X formally known as twitter, and TikTok.

Vanity evaluation:

Instagram @trevorproject: followers: 723k following: 3,428 comments (on average based on 10 most recent posts): 36 likes (also on average): 4,413.7

X/Twitter (now officially closed) @trevorproject: followers: 342.1k following: 6k posts: 34.7k likes (on average): 323

TikTok @trevorproject : followers: 82.2k following: 423 overall likes: 519.9k

Suggestions for improvement:

When it comes to Instagram your best bet for interactions/ engagement rate (likes + comments) and reach is story posts, reels, and sponsored content. They could host story take overs (essentially a person takes over the social media for a day) and posts affirmations or self care tips. I think they do a good job on making content that is "share" worthy aka people reposting their posts to their stories. Interactions via other individuals accounts is something they could really use to their advantage. With Instagram you can now see how often a post was shared this is important information and they can use it to see what the people share. This not only helps their social media platform but also spreads their message.

For twitter they have since taken down their account due to X not standing with their beliefs as a social media platform. They could instead try Threads or even Tumblr to reach similar audiences. Lets say they still used twitter they could increase responses/commenting. This also would work on threads and tumblr. Commenting is a huge way to spread your message or be found on social media.

When it comes to TikTok the key is trends and hashtag usage. A lot of their content on TikTok feels very Ad like and unpersonal. I think if they took a step in engaging in trends in an appropriate way they could reach more people. They could also reach out to TikTok and create a sponsored Hashtag, people could share their coming out stories or how they have benefited from the Trevor project in the past. TikTok uses channel metrics for watch time on videos, higher watch times boosts videos visibility so i think they could keep viewers engaged with story times.

Overall, I believe The Trevor project should prioritize engagement over vanity metrics. Since the younger generation is highly active on social media it is crucial for them to effectively utilize these platforms. They already have a substantial follower count and verification on these sites, but they need to improve interaction rate. If they implement the strategies i mentioned earlier especially on TikTok they can reach more teens and young people. Focusing on built in tools that the sites and apps provide can provide valuable insight for their marketing. Comparing shares on reels versus TikTok or the watch time on TikTok vs the tap throughs on their story posts will help improve what they post. They have a great start on Instagram I just think they could utilize TikTok more. Utilizing analytics will refine their continent strategy and share their impactful message.
