incubator idea:

lydia decides to help her sister and brother in law jack out in a big way, a huge favor that's nine plus months in the making. a baby because they couldn't have one on their own. at some point in time she runs into trevor at a function. after realizing were they know each other from ... sparks more or less fly. trevor notices lydia is acting differently, almost as tho she's. she would have told him if something was going on, right?

possible insert #1:

"you guys wouldn't mind if i date anyone?" lydia bit the bottom of her lip, looking back and forth between the two expectant parents. "i may have met someone before we started this process."

"you met someone?" jack's jaw dropped and eyes went wide. cece hit her husbands chest with the back of her hand at her husband's response.

sure it may not have been the greatest of timings on her part. but you can't help when you meet the certain person. or rather that person re-enters your life.

"its fine lyds. as long as they're okay with the circumstances and what your doing for us." that was something lydia had yet to do. it actually scared her to think of his reaction.

"do we know him?" jack questioned, he wanted to meet this person and if he already knew him all the better. by the way lydia was looking down at her hands in her lap it was a big fat yes.

who was it. he couldn't have been either of jack's brothers, they were both happily in relationships of their own. it could be any one of his friends. or maybe an enemy?

"does he play hockey?" his eyes narrowed, his brain going into overdrive trying to think of anyone he knew was not committed to a significant other. a few names came to mind, one in particular.

"jack. stop." cece stopped jack before he could question lydia more. he just wanted to make sure she was safe and the precious cargo she was carrying would make it to the deadline.

possible insert #2:

"what's going on with you?" trevor let go of her frizzy golden hair. this was not the first time this week he had caught her running to the bathroom.

"nothing. everything is just fine trev." using her fingers Lydia wiped away any remnants of her snack that had just found it way back to the outside world.

she didn't know how much longer she could keep the ruse of nothing is wrong with me. because the longer she went into the lie, the harder it was going to be telling trevor the truth.

"that's bullshit."

"im having a baby." she threw her head in hands. who said ripping the bandaid off was easy, because it hurt like hell. and she didn't want to lose him.

"what?" trevor's ears couldn't quite register the incoherent mumbles. she needed to speak up if he was ever going to find out what she was saying.

"im pregnant." trevor never moved so fast to get away from her, standing up to lean against the bathroom sink. so many terrible thoughts were running through his mind.

"is it jack's? are you guys?" he had to refrain himself from saying some of those harsh things. was she cheating? was jack cheating?

"yes and no." lydia could see by the look on his he was confused by her reply. she explained further how her sister and jack weren't able to have children and they asked her to be their surrogate.

"im just an incubator."

possible insert #3:

"why are you still here trevor?" lydia rubbed over the bump. she could feel another contraction starting.

"this is not a choice." trevor really didn't want to be there, still being upset with her over the events from months before he was doing this as a favor, since he may have been with lydia when she initially went into labor.

"you can leave at any time." she ground her teeth together, the intense pain sweeping over her.

"i promised jack i would be here since they're still in the air because you refused to go back to new jersey when you were supposed to." he bit at the peeling skin on his bottom lip, watching something on his phone.

trevor looked up when there was some snarky response from her. he got up, and offered his hand for her to squeeze. "hey hey. breathe. breathe." any thought of anger he had towards her was instantly washed away when he saw the pain in her face. he still loved her. he would always love her.

i have yet to decide if it will be an oc or a reader insert type thing. for the sake of garnering thoughts i chose an oc. i hope you guys enjoy this idea, cuz i kinda like it.

please please please tell me what you guys think of this idea. also please note that this is just an idea, and based off if people like the idea i will write more of story around it.

Considering that trevor is stated in game to not exercise regularly, and basically started his escape without preperation while already being not well rested, AND that he proceded to run from the police for days straight with little to no breaks, the fact that trevor was able to make it to the end still standing genuinely amazes me like holy shit.

That being said i imagine that once trevor leaves arcadia with angela and makes it back to her apartment. He goes to bed and wakes up with the absolute worse cramps in every part of his body. Angela tries to help him stand up but his back just cracks like a glowstick.

Checkmatch fic where Garraka successfully pulled Phoebe’s spirit from her body before being defeated in the Firehouse, leaving Phoebe’s spirit removed from her body whilst her physical body remains ‘alive’, but not indefinitely.

Melody now can’t move on, not until she gets Phoebe back in her body. She feels like she owes it to her and the family, but as the two grow closer, they both can’t help but wish it didn’t have to end and when Lars finally comes up with a way to rejoin Phoebe’s spirit to her body, she has to make a choice.

Remain a ghost and let her body die so she can be with Melody forever, or return to the living and say goodbye to the girl she loves.

I’ve seen some people add Officer Bailey into the Jon Matteson character family tree as one of Richie’s uncles and I love it so much. But why stop there? If we really wanna joke about how big this family is why not add more Curt Mega characters into it?

Curt’s shopper from Black Friday? Yeah he’s one of Richie’s uncles and he and Gary talked about who was gonna get a Wiggly doll for which kid.

Eddie Chiplucky is a very distant relative from the south and he actually looks out for Daniel in the ring (shhh I don’t care if it’s accurate to the show we’re having fun here).

Hell even President Howard Goodman is distantly related to these people! I know because I saw pictures of him as a little kid in the huge family photo album Paul keeps on a random bookshelf in his living room.

Is Duke Keane related to them? Who knows! Definitely not him!

I’m just saying that like half of the adults in hatchetfeild are Richie’s (also Trever’s and Daniel’s) uncles and I love that for him (them).

its the night before trevor has to leave for almost a week. the ducks had a series of away games, so he would be spending the next few days traveling. you and trevor were on the couch cuddling your three year old son, who is sitting between the two of you with his little arms wrapped around trevor. the three of you are watching hockey because theo wanted to watch uncle jack and uncle luke beat uncle cole. your boys have so many uncles...

there were four minutes left in the third period and the devils were up by two when trevor decided to get up and do some packing for his trip. as he tried to get up from the couch, theo tightened his hold on trevor. theo always took it the hardest when trevor had to leave. he was a daddy's boy through and through.

"theo buddy daddy has to pack"

"no daddy, stay"

"i cant buddy, i have to pack for my hockey trip"

"you care more about hockey than me"

that absolutely broke trevors heart. what made it worse was when little theo burst into tears, heart wrenching sobs wracking his small body as he let go of trevor and clung to you instead. you let out a soft awe as you consoled your son and tried to calm him. trevor just watched with a sad frown. he hated seeing theo cry and he never wanted to be the reason for his little boys tears. trevor knew theo was upset about him having to leave again.

you ran your hands through your sons light brown curls that are identical to his dads. his little sniffles filled the now quiet living room. trevor let out a soft sigh as he reached out and gently started stroking theo's tear stained cheek. theo turned his head to look at trevor, his big blue eyes still full of unshed tears. you let go of theo as he launched himself into trevors arms. theo loved hugs from his daddy.

"you know you are way more important to me than hockey, right buddy?"

"i know, i just sad. I don't want you to leave, daddy"

"I know theo, daddy doesn't want to leave either. but you remember what we talked about?"

trevor had a very important conversation with theo a couple weeks ago before his last long roadtrip. lately, trevor worried about you whenever he had to leave for long roadtrips. he sat his son down and told him to protect you and look after you for him.

"when daddy's playing hockey, you gotta take care of mama for me, alright?"

"right daddy, i take care of mommy for you"

Theo was crazy like his daddy, but he also had the kindest soul and the biggest heart. he wanted to make trevor proud and stepping up to look after you was just how he'd do that. trevor reached out and put his hand on your tummy and theo did the same.

"i protect mama and baby brother just like you do daddy"

"atta boy."

so trevor leaving for roadtrips wasn't so bad after theo realized he'd get to protect you and his baby brother, just like his daddy does.
