I've been thinking on and off about Dreamtale for months, the way it left off with the twins perpetually clashing and how it adds to their mythological vibe... and I guess my mind couldn't let it go until it came up with a way to offer their story closure.

And that's how I got stuck on the idea of Dream and Nightmare always being two halves of a whole, Dark Crystal style, until I came up with a fusion– the guardian of emotion.

Maybe Nightmare ripped the golden fruit from Dream, maybe Dream got desperate and tried to separate Nightmare's SOUL from the black fruit, but either way, after they were absorbed or absorbed by the apples, maybe their SOULs would also involuntarily absorb each other if given the chance. Like they were always meant to succeed their sacred tree.

I really like interpreting Nightmare's tentacles as roots, leaving Swap!Dream's feathered wings to be the leafy branches.

Their motif would be an eclipse to combine Dream and Nightmare's motifs, and as for a name... Wake? Dawn? Psyche? Psyche... Psyche.

Summary: A “stray” obliviate from a dissenting blood purist hits Hermione as she’s debating on the Wizengamot floor for Elf rights. As a result, she loses the last 5 years of her life. Her most recent memory is Fred coming back to life in the Battle of Hogwarts. She doesn’t remember marrying or falling in love with her husband. In fact, when the healer asks her if she’d like to see her husband, she thought Ron would walk through the door. Instead, it was George.

This story follows two, parallel timelines. In the first, Hermione struggles to find her place in a world built by a different version of herself. In the other, George traverses before, during, and after the Wizarding War, finding himself more and more drawn to the most dedicated witch he knows. Too bad she’s in love with his brother.

Nice to meet you both! And sure thing!

Despite their incredibly strong jaws, high mobility, and electric attacks, Vikavolt aren’t predatory. They mostly eat things like treesap and berries! All those adaptations were likely gained to protect them from any bug type Pokémon’s worst enemy: bird Pokémon. Alola has quite a few bird Pokémon who would love to make a quick meal of weaker bug types, so having the power to knock them out of the sky is really useful! Vikavolt (to some extent) have also been seen caring for previous stages in their line. There’s a few reasons for this, but it seems it’s mostly because Charjabug are able to restore a Vikavolt’s electrical charge quickly.

Mantine are wonderful! I’ve had the pleasure of trying Mantine surfing before, and that taught me they’re very intelligent! I know most people don’t think of fish pokemon as particularly smart, but Mantine are. I wiped out pretty bad the first time I tried Mantine surfing, and the next time I came to do it the Mantine remembered that I hurt myself and avoided the spot it happened in. Also they can fly. A lot of people are surprised about that. I don’t really know why they can fly (to escape predators maybe?) but they can.
