The fire. As they tell us in school, the caveman needs a lightning that sets a tree on fire to acknowledge fire, that always existed anyway. After that he needs to learn how to keep it going, and eventually to start it by his own, not only by external events. I think people are like this, metaphorically. They need a spark, a sudden event, a lightning, that opens a new perspective, and it s on them to follow on that road, to learn how to keep the fire going after the spark set it on. Then, with time, one learns how to recreate it. The fire. The happy fire that makes lives better, it exists. But one must learn to acknowledge it first. To use it. One must evolve. who is your favorite character in 2? — A lot of the characters are near and dear to me but probably Stevie Budd <3

who is your least favorite character in 1? — This is gonna get me So much hate, but I did not agree with how Rose’s character was handled from series 2 and on. Also, I watched series 11 and unfortunately Chibs’ writing made it impossible for me to like 13, and how he handled the Master literally made me ragequit the show.

what is your favorite episode of 4? —  Season 2 Episode 7 "I Have No Room in My Heart For Hate". Between Lito’s and Sun’s stories in that episode, it’s one of the best the show ever did.

what is your favorite season of 5? — Season 4! That’s the first season I actually started with.

who is your favorite couple in 3? — Sherlock Holmes/John Watson 

what is your favorite episode of 1? — Because it’s Doctor Who, my favorite two-parter is World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls, but my favorite single episode is The Doctor’s Wife.

what is your favorite episode of 5? — Season 1 Episode 15 “Tuttle”, it’s a classic

what is your favorite season of 2? —  Hmm it’s a close call but season 5

how long have you watched 1? — 8 years 👀

how did you become interested in 3? — I started reading Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes short stories when I was 8 years old, then I became obsessed with Holmesian lore after the Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law came out. I’ve watched most versions of Holmes and Watson ever since. Granada Holmes/The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes might just be my favorite version though

who is your favorite actor in 4? — Freema Agyeman (I’ve loved her ever since DW)

which do you prefer: 1, 2, or 5? — There’s no aspect of M*A*S*H that I extremely dislike so I’m gonna pick that one. 

which show have you seen more episodes of: 1 or 3? — I definitely have seen more of Doctor Who at this point. 

if you could be anyone from 4, who would it be? — Probably Nomi Marks? She’s awesome with technology and sadly I’m not; plus she’s the activist I strive to be someday. Also having Amanita as a loving gf/wife?? Sign me the fuck up 

would a crossover between 3 and 4 work? — There’s a lot of murder in both, but, setting aside the issue that they’re set in completely different time periods, I honestly don’t think Holmes or Watson could handle the intensity of the Cluster or their problems lmao

pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple?  — I know the point of the Tenth Doctor and Donna is that they’re just best friends and m/f friendships Are So Important to represent don’t get me wrong but they’re basically Beatrice and Benedick from Much Ado About Nothing and they should’ve gotten married  

overall, which show has the best storyline: 3 or 5? — asjlkf these are literally the two shows on this list that were created before overarching storylines were really a thing in television, but, out of the two, M*A*S*H actually has their characters go through really meaningful arcs. I love The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes but part of its appeal is that it’s so cozy and never changes

which has better theme music: 2 or 4? — Schitt’s Creek doesn’t really have a soundtrack so I guess Sense8 wins by default?? Sense8 does have a really pretty soundtrack, I listen to it on the regular

Professionally? Never.

Celebrity crushes?

I mean, my magnum opus is the phrase "voice man hot," so I think that speaks for itself. I'm trying to think of a lesser-known crush, but I tend to be pretty vocal about who I like.

Sounds I hate/love?

Hate: If anyone uses a nail file in a five mile radius, I will know and it will bring me to the cusp of a breakdown. I can just barely stand using them myself.

Love: Rain on the roof, or really any kind of natural water noise - waterfalls, oceans, and such. Those sounds are so soothing.

Do you drive, and have you ever crashed?

I do drive, and I've never crashed, but once - in extreme emotional distress - I backed into an illegally parked car. It didn't damage it, but I still called the cops sobbing, because I was so scared that the owner would emerge out of nowhere and yell at me. That was... eight years ago?

Last book you read?

The last book I finished was Bad with Money: The Imperfect Art of Getting Your Financial Shit Together by Gaby Dunn. I'm currently reading Fierce Fairytales by Nikita Gill.

Do you believe in ghosts?

No, but I wish I did.

Do you believe in aliens?

Conceptually. Not a, as Patrick Rothfuss calls it, a "riding-crop belief."

Do you like the smell of gasoline?

I don't like it, but I find it familiar, and therefore not repellant.

Last movie you saw?

I think the last movie I watched was Withnail and I... but I can't remember anything beyond a few days ago, so who can really say? I don't watch a ton of movies. The last show I watched was Outlander, though. I can remember that far!

Do you have an obsession right now?

Doctor Who is an evergreen obsession, because you can channel it into so many outlets - the audios, the show, the extended universe, the actors, the memes, the community, the fanfiction, the generation of fanfiction... but yeah, I'd put that all under the umbrella of "I'm obsessed with Doctor Who."

Do you tend to hold grudges?

Depends on the severity of the situation, but yeah. I can happily resent someone forever if I need to.
