Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
You wouldn't want to butt heads with Bruno's casque-headed frog! This species is one of two known venomous species of amphibian, and just one gram of its venom is strong enough to kill 80 adult humans. The frog delivers its lethal toxins through tiny spines along the head and upper lip, and even one head-butt can result in severe pain that lasts hours.

Day 43 of posting cute creatures we found on our field trip:
European tree frog (Hyla arborea) is one of the world’s smallest tree frogs. The cuteness of this frog is astounding. They seemingly have a “favorite human” in every group and they stick to them and hang out, sometimes even jumping back on them after being taken off. I was chosen once and it is still one of my fondest memories.
