officially back home in God’s country (#texasforever), but don’t worry y’all – I took plenty of New Zealand pics so I can keep the throwbacks coming at ya for the foreseeable future 😜 all joking aside, NZ was stunning and special, and an incredible place to behold over the last seven days. such a blessing this short little trip was. had a great time traveling with @pstennfeld and @divinastennfeld, and we met some fab new friends along the way. thankful for the experience, and safety along the journey, and can’t wait to go back again someday. ♥️ until next time, kia ora! . . . #newzealand #travelherco #finditliveit #trinitystravels #wanderlust #roadtrip #haheibeach #coromandelpeninsula #kiwiexperience (at Hahei, Coromandel)

The end of August 2017 brought the fulfillment of a longtime dream when a good friend and I met up in Scotland for a road trip through the Highlands. We spent a week driving all around the country in our rented Fiat 500, and were both awestruck the entire time by the majestic wildness of the place. The one word we kept coming back to was ‘vast’ – the Highlands are indescribably beautiful and overwhelmingly vast; expansive landscapes largely untouched by humanity, with a rugged aesthetic and muted brilliance that bewilders and enchants everyone who lays eyes on them. Needless to say, I fell in love with the Highlands, and with Scotland as a whole, and am eager to find my way back someday.
So, six months later, here is the video I made to document that trip. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️
