I got a small wooden box from a local craft store and decorated it as a mini travel shrine to Sekhmet. I made the mini figure and glued all the glass vials down (the candle isn’t glued down). It closes up into a little box, all neat and tidy.
Fun, small, relatively cheap ideas for an alter to Sekhmet? I know the more traditional things (i.e., incense/certain flowers/cat imagery/etc), but I'm wondering if anyone has any more fun ideas. The smaller the better, as I am going to have to keep it in a box for the time being to keep it safe from my cute, big puppy who loves to jump and get into stuff. My alter is going to be serious, but I think making it more welcoming for both of us would help me get more comfortable with regular worship.
