#PhillieLove #ChocolateBeauty #TransparentThursday Doctors say I’m overweight for my height...(I’m 5’10 mind you...and 6’2 in heels) People say I need to gain some weight and need a burger...(🙄but I eat EVERYTHING though lol) Truth is, I am losing weight. I’m not where I want to be but I’m not where I USE to be. I never been confident in my self appearance. I haven’t been this confident in my size since never (and I do mean NEVER). I would buy everything two sizes too big to hide what I look like but I’m embracing it now and I’m loving it!!! #TransparentThursday The picture on the left is where I started my prep in Feb 2017 & the picture on the right is from my check in last Saturday with my super🌟nutrition coach, @shaequeenifbbpro. 📸 I'm sharing this pic to be transparent and hopefully for those who may competed this year and plan to compete again next year yet may have gotten way off your reverse diet plan...and let last week take you over the edge!👀 Last year after, I was given a great plan by my coach that I followed at the beginning and then eventually got away from following...so that when I started my prep this year for a competition in July......even though I had a successful prep, it was tough as heck because I wasn't conditioned and has lots of fat to shed. Don't do like I did....get a handle on your meal plan now that will still support your building phase yet keep your body fat% under control. Big Takeaway: After competing, make sure have a reverse diet plan in plan ready once you step on stage (if you are gonna continue competing) that's set up according to your #offseason building/maintenance goals & keep yourself accountable by either hiring a coach (yes for off season too if you know you can't be trusted) or get a fellow #fitfriend or #fitsiSTAR so that you have regular check ins to stay on track. When it's #contestprep time, you are smooth sailing! If your plan is working well, keep it, if not, this is something to consider...especially if you have found yourself doing lots of extra cardio...just to get conditioned...#nobueno 😬😰. #TransparentThursday #TestimonyThursday For years, I didn't trust women. I never really "clinged" to women, hince why I hang around men and why my best friend and my close friends are men. I have been hurt by women who I called sisters since before my teenage years. Yes, I forgiven them but I didn't use the word "sis" or "friend" freely as I use to. I am still reserved when it comes down having sisterfriends and things of that nature but I know these women in this photo has really been there for me, no matter how big or small. Danai Gurira said it best: "You are the women that I have been able to be vulnerable with, to seek counsel from, to break ALL the way down with, to pray with, to pray for, to share frustrations, pains, fears, joys and praise reports with. You have spoken word into my life that have transformed and me, cleansed me, guided me, anointed me, reminding me of who I am and help me edge towards my destiny. Thank you for your sister girl Magic." Happy International Women's Day. Today, I celebrate and salute you.
