💢Ok, I've got a confession, I have been so wrong for years!💢 I see so many "Transformation Programs" out there these days. Transform your body, mind, soul, hair style, skin, habits, insert-current-fad. But how are you ever going to learn to love yourself and be comfortable in your own body if you are constantly being told you need to change? It's just NOT a healthy way to approach your health and fitness. 🤔 💥I'll be the first to admit that I was guilty of chasing these transformations both for myself in my own training as well as also trying to "transform" my students lives. This is such a counterintuitive approach to take.🤨 It took me a long time to realise that what I was doing was VERY WRONG. Deep down I knew that my approach was really not achieving what I wanted physically and mentally but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then I realised I DON'T NEED TO TRANSFORM! I already have all the tools I need to acheive my goals, I just needed to use the properly.🔥 ✔I needed to revive my way of thinking! ✔I needed to revive the tools i already had! ✔I NEEDED A BODY REVIVAL! 🙏Once I realised I already had all the tools I needed to reach my goals and I only needed to learn to use them effectively I saw massive changes in both my body and my mind. So after today's workout I was taking my post workout shots when I noticed something. #backgains. Lol. So I never really take back, side shots, or progress pics for that matter. Haha. Mainly because I'm bad at remembering to take pics but I was honestly shocked at my #Transformation and then I was like it's Tuesday and I am not really into the progress posts but I know it does help some so this is my #TransformstionTuesday post. Talking with @supaman_d and @blerdlife a couple weeks back and they ragging on me about working out so much and I really don't see it that way. I am having fun, I really am. Which is kinda the reason I don't do the progression posts and pics. I've always seen this as my journey and I have you guys along with me for the the giggles but the effort and hard work is all up to me but I realized that sometimes I have to look back and acknowledge where I am, where I have been to see my path ahead. #TransformstionTuesday from November 2016 to May 1st 2017. Six months difference. I can't say I'm pleased with my arms currently. I'm frustrated because I've had to take about 2 months off of working biceps directly at all because of my medical epicondylitis. But I'm finally getting back into very low weight without pain. I've lost a lot of bicep size from about 2 months ago and that's frustrating but I decided to go back and look at when I first started at this gym and I have to say, as unhappy as I am with how I look now, I'm really proud of the progress I made in six months. Proud... But never satisfied. All I see is room for improvement. (also I should add that there's about 35lbs between these two pix. Starving yourself does NOT allow for muscle growth my friends)

#TransformationTuesday #StoryTime 😌 • Well well, look at what my dad sent me🤔. When I was little a doctor recommended my mom cut my hair, due to its weight and my head being so small. The weight of my hair was causing headaches and back problems😭. My mom decided it would be a good idea to give me a boy cut😩(first and second picture). Eventually it grew into beautiful curls again ❤️ and my mom would trim it every 6-8 months(third picture) because my hair grew pretty fast😳. Forward to now, I suffer from migraines and back pain anyways 😂 but I have healthy natural hair😍. Am I allowed to make a #transformstiontuesday post about myself? Sure I am. Nothing drastic but it's still pretty cool that I reached my goal within our challenge group last month. My main measurable goal was to gain 5 lbs. with gaining a 1/2 inch or less in my waist and that is exactly what I did. I certainly could have done better though. Lost some in my left arm, undoubtedly because of my left shoulder problem and I lost some in my thighs, which supports my theory that I actually build more leg muscle with the Build phase vs the Bulk phase. I also can tell that I gained mass in my upper chest and traps, which is hard to measure. I have a bit of roll forming in my mid-section but that is all part of the process for me. Hope to cut that later. All in all, a victory but I look to achieve more in February. http://ift.tt/2jZDQvI

Meet: @brant_vee_fit I’ve lost 160lbs naturally through eating healthy / proper nutrition, whole foods and by eating multiple small meals a day. I started my fitness and lifestyle journey weighing in at 370 lbs that I can confirm. I was addicted to drugs, alcohol, partying and eating whatever I wanted. I hit rock bottom and realized it was time to make a change before I ended up dying from my lifestyle choices. The incredible changes that manifested both Physically and mentally were absolutely mind blowing. I’m sober and I’ve lost 160 lbs of body fat naturally! Meet @That.Sleeved.Texan My journey to this -161 lb weight loss began in the summer of 2017 at my highest recorded weight - a solid 295 lbs. Within the year prior, I had 3 painful miscarriages and was on a quick road to being diabetic. I lived most of my life in an obese depression, and hated to be that sideline mom to my son. With the encouragement of my immediate family, I’m so thankful to have made the decision to push forward to having VSG that Sept. I took control and refused to let processed food be my sole obsession. I’m now a healthy 134 lbs, and living the life I never knew was possible.
