Concept of a transformers soul eater AU is very funny because like several of the characters already turn into guns in canon

Megatron as the weapon & Starscream as his meister lol i imagine them as already being death weapon status or near to it

You don't even have to change the names of the characters at all because of the stagename system especially because as shown with Eternal Feather you don't need someone's consent to give them a stage name just enough signatures

Soundwave would be a meister with the cassettes as his weapons

You could have Shockwave be a weapon that's constructed a golem/magic puppet he dubs Longarm to wield him

I feel like Optimus would be a meister with weapon blood so he can turn into the matrix at some point, what does it do? Who knows (it has a purifying wavelength that can counteract madness)

Since TFA is like the highschool dropout version of transformers that's the one im taking the most inspiration from in what is essentially a magical highschool AU

I have no clue who or what the rest of the meister/weapon teams should be

Could he cool to have jazz and prowl tied to the star clan tho

Or Sari being another meister with weapon blood who wields Bee as a stinger could have them temporarily teaming up with Bee's estranged twin Wasp

Grimlock should get to be a flaming sword

Optimus should be wielding an Axe as his weapon so who should turn into the axe is the real question here

Ofc i wanted tailgate to be their Meister, I love all of them so much. I’ll make some more designs soon but the basics of the au is that Meisters will still have their alt mode from idw comic canon but weapons will have just one alt mode, being their weapon form.

If anyone has suggestions please send them!! I really want to draw something for Chromedome and Rewind but I have no idea who should be what. And thank you @tech-obssessed-shark for helping me with ideas ^-^

Transformers one x Soul Eater (sorta? I haven’t seen soul eater in forever): where being able to have a weapon alt mode is considered uncommon and due to sentinels rule out right banned weapon transformation unless he himself or who he deems worthy can be their mister (aka: his most loyal followers)

- weapon alt modes are different from vehicle modes and have a separate transformation system. So Cogless bots can have a weapon transformation.

- while weapon alt modes are super powerful there just isn’t a need for the transformers. after all most already have built in weapons of their own. Main reason for some transformers having weapon alt modes to begin with was to encourage close bonds with one another.

- Cogless bots can transform into their weapon alt but doing so is setting yourself up for instant demotion to waste management… or even lower

- if a bot is caught using their weapon alt or allows someone without the authority to wield them they are forcefully suppressed into their weapon. In the words of sentinel prime “If they want to be in their weapon alt so bad who am I to judge? They get what they want and I get a new weapon of choice for my wall.”

- while any bot could be a mister War frames are more likely to have a weapon partner

Orion Pax: Hatchet - Orion of course makes sure his weapon alt is never found out. Only D-16 knows and has on the rare occasion practiced fighting with Orion on the rooftop (after Orion begs him) having a mister just feels so right to Orion especially if it’s D-16.

B-127: knife hands! - Bee is a rare duel weld weapon and many transformers belittle Bee cause he would have been an amazing weapon to weld. However due to Bee having Zero control over his weapon mode and the fact his weapon mode can cut through metal like butter… yeah it was just safer for everyone to keep him in sub-lvl 50

Cogged Orion Pax: Battle Axe - after getting his transformation cog and immediately falling into their first fight Orion calls out to D-16 who wastes no time in grabbing Orion and turning him into his new weapon alt form. The drone didn’t stand a chance as it’s cut cleanly in half. But even though the battles over D-16s servos tighten on Orions handle. Before he’s suddenly lifted back up and smashing the drones already split head in. Orion immediately forces himself out of his weapon mode and pulls away from D-16 in a panic.

When it finally comes time to battle sentinel Orion can feel the hands on his handle become possessive. There’s a moment where D-16 is looking at him in his alt form and Orion feels scared of his best friend.

When sentinel is defeated and begging for mercy D-16 raises the axe over his head ready cut the false Prime to pieces. But Orion falls out of his alt and tries to shove D-16 away.

“I will not be used like this D!”

The ending is pretty much the same as Orion gets blasted through the chest. But as D is holding onto Orions hand over the abyss he says something that shakes him to his core.

“I- it’s ok Orion I can fix you we can still be mister and weapon like you wanted remember? I took your weapon for granted and I never want to do that again. We can cleanse this planet together, tear everything down with you in my hands.”

Orion knew it was better to use the last of his strength to rip himself out of the mechs hand and fall into the abyss.

Optimus Prime: When he came back to life and looked at D-… Megatron. He could still see that obsession in his eyes even when he was prime now. When Megatron was banished the mech vowed that it wasn’t over and that when it was he would be Optimus’s mister. After that the idea of turning into his weapon alt made Optimus uneasy.

The thought of someone using him for anything even if it was to help someone felt wrong. All he could feel was Megatron gripping him tightly and using him to kill.

B-127 and Elita-1: on a happier note - Bee loves his new mister Elita she uses Bees weapon alt to its full potential and even indulges him in some needless destruction of property. He was giddy when Elita used him to cut the door to the broadcast station too bad she wouldn’t use him to tear the place apart though. But it’s ok she promises to destroy plenty of Sentinels property with him later.

Svsss au where Shen Yuan transmigrated as Xin Mo. Yes, that Xin Mo. Obviously Shen Yuan is pissed at this development and tried to kick up a storm but can't because sword so he is stuck waiting for Luo Binghe to show up.

After dealing with the occasional demon and mindless boredom of being just a sword, Binghe shows up. Shen Yuan is just ready to throw himself at him so they can finally get out of the abyss and the rest of the plot to happen. Binghe is surprised to learn the super powerful sword that can rip through time and space is a chill dude that wants Shen Qingqiu's castration a little too much.

Eventually through the power of the system, Soul Eater logic, or straight up complaining to God himself (sqh), Shen Yuan gets the ability to transform into a humanoid form and Luo Binghe officially needs him carnally. Shen Yuan is so happy to have hands again that he totally missed how Binghe was looking at him.

Rest the au goes on with Shen Yuan pushing Binghe to get the plot going, trying to get him to get his empire, revenge, and wives as Binghe is trying to figure out swordception.

Bella was on her way to being a death scythe, arthur was her meister. its the typical her and faroe die, arthur becomes a PI with weapon parker, and arthur opens the book that puts demon weapon john into his eyes. hes one of the first demon weapons to exist but with the portal shenanigans he can't turn into a weapon let alone his normal form, but he manages to transform into a ritual dagger to save arthur in the mines.

larson's a kishin meister, butcher's a weapon, noel's a witch meister, and oscar's oscar(he gets the death priest powers)

yellow's the same as john but he focuses all his time into learning how to manifest as the kiy and control powers over madness rather than turning into a weapon

john goes full scythe mode for the first time during the robed cultists fight. they soul resonance and fight like a well oiled machine. johns arm goes completely limp and he sees outside of arthurs eyes. manifesting still drains arthur but its semi delayed until soul resonance is dropped. its not as bad as when john full body manifests out of his scythe form while it held noel and athrur from falling off the balcony

arthur is a ridiculously skilled meister and wield just about any weapon, but has a hard time resonating with anyone. his ability to see souls was excellent but now that belongs to john, tho arthut can still sense souls if they get close enough. probably made the kings confrontation a bit harder.

arthur and johns are fused, to the average meister it looks like one soul but johns wrapped around and intertwined with his. beings on johns level can see a reflection of the lake in it.

if arthur john and noel do a 3 way resonance noel could wield john. he doesn't have much experience with scythe but he says it's pretty easy when john handles like a dream.

Noel and the Butcher are also compatible and they also get a cool team up in the order

I noticed in your soul eater au both Ingo and Emmet have weapon forms, does that mean they're like Liz and Patty and are just weapons that wield each other?

Yes! They switch up depending on which would be the best suited for a fight.

They are also able to fight by themselves tho by transforming halfway to fight!

Jimmy Solidarity works for the esteemed god of Death, reaping lost souls and taking care of unsavory characters. He's recently finished his training, and is determined to do well on his first solo mission. Perhaps this "Tango" would be a good start. Only, the god of Death disappeared years ago, and Necromancer Tango Tek's long since discovered a way around dying. He can't say he enjoys Jimmy swinging through and killing him where he stands, though.

Thank you to my team for being as feral about this AU as I am, and kicking everything about it up to 110. I had so much developing this world with them!

While Graveyard Shift is the amalgamation of many of my interests, the main premise for this AU is loosely inspired by the webcomic, I'm the Grim Reaper, in both its apocalypse themes and its aesthetics! Not a required read, but highly recommend if you enjoy this au, as well as the anime and manga, Soul Eater!

I came up with a lot of AUs for this event but necromancer!Tango and reaper!Jimmy have been rattling around in my brain in separate AUs since before I started brainstorming for aufest. So I smashed them together, naturally.

guys ive been watching Soul Eater and i have a yan!batfam idea

yan!batfam soul eater AU, BUT instead of the batfam being a part of it its the neglected MC

think about it, batman has his sidekicks who are there to support batman as hes seen as the "main hero/vigilante" while in soul eater there is no "me and he" its more like "we as one" in soul eater the weapon and meister have to work as ONE, yes the weapon is a supporter, but they have a mind of their own and can move on their own, the meister has to listen to their input in battle to see from their point of view of the fight, same thing with the weapon, they have to see and work as one in a fight, so imagine MC is part of the academy as a weapon or meister, and they have a weapon/meister who is their parental/sibling figure and yan!batfam sees how well a fighter they are and how well they are at taking a leader or support lead aswell as working as one with their partner.

i also have this idea where the academy is very private and mysterious to the point NOONE at all can find a way to enter, and the only way to become a student/teacher is to be PERSONALLY giver approved of being part of the academy, also the weapon transformation students came to be like how quirks in the MHA universe came? like they just spawned on kids and so people then try to train them to use that transformation safely and helpful and move them to the academy to train to fight along side other heros when theyre against monsters they (somehow?) need help with defeating, and once the weapon/meisters are done helping they go back to the academy never to be seen again until someone needs help again.

AAAA YES YES!!! That’s such a brilliant idea. I could definitely see Floyd as that sort of weapon. >w< the design truly does fit him.

Floyd who is just so difficult to handle and wield as a weapon. Everyone assumes there’s no one he could ever match wavelengths with because of how temperamental he is, so it’s a shock when you’re able to do so after much trial and error. You were an awkward duo at first, seemingly opposites who’d never be able to cooperate, but you were determined and Floyd insisted he’d only be your weapon. No one else’s. You’re both stubborn and refuse to give up.

So naturally you’re extremely ecstatic after you match wavelengths. Floyd who transforms back into his human form to celebrate with you, cheering loudly. You’ll get dinner and brag to your friends about it, both of you so eager to finally prove everyone who thought otherwise wrong.

Hehe and maybe Floyd finally starts to recognize that what he feels for you isn’t just friendly affection. :) crushing on you in silence aaaaaa!!!! <3

(warning: big spoiler for soul eater manga, and me nerding over soul eater)

for those who aren't familiar with soul eater, the series revolve around the story of meister and demon weapon (human who can transform into weapons). The students of of Shibusen, school build by 'shinigami' take on missions to collect souls and protect the city from the world's threats.

The school parted into 2 types of class, N.O.T (Normally Overcome Target, class for those who just want to control their powers, pretty much just like a normal class) and E.A.T (Especially Advantaged Talent, consist of the 10% students in shibusen, class for students/agents who use their powers to battle evil)

-this au sets years after soul eater manga ending, where human and witch can already living side by side

-Morfonia used to be in NOT class, but then she moved to EAT class after reunited in shibusen and being partners with rita (they're childhood friends)

-Suzume supposed to be gira's weapon partner, since the Hastie and Dybowski family been on some kind of..bound? relationship? for a long time. But racles don't want gira to be a meister, so he took both of the dybowski siblings as his weapon (welp, gira still finds jera anyway)

-Top 3 EAT class academical rank: Rita, Himeno, Yanma (it's quite a tie with jeramie sometimes), gira is somewhere in the middle, or below-

-Top 3 EAT class physical rank (as in like, PE class): Gira, Rita, Jeramie, (you know where yanma at right)

-yeah i use racs and himeno's p1 hair bcs i love them

-Rita can see someone's soul, while Gira can 'sense' someone's soul perfectly (like, what kind of people they are) and know kishin's soul before they turned into kishin egg (kishin egg: evil souls)

-Sebastian is not a student but he still go to shibusen to accompany himeno as her butler and demon weapon

-before met yanma, shiokara used to be Mayuta's demon weapon partners along with usuba (sniper rifle) and akka (brass knuckle ring)

-Jeramie is a child of demon weapon and witch, his mom run away from the witch realm because she possesses healing magic, which is unforgivable and hated by the witches

-and jera got his black blood from his mother, who didn't know that she was used to be medusa's (antagonist witch in SE) experiment object. Medusa thought she's a failed object, so she throw nephila out of her object list.

-before Jeramie met Gira, he wonder all over death city to find who killed and ate his parents' soul

-Gira don't really like to live in the Hastie's main mansion , so he rented apartments near shibusen together with Jera after decided to be his Meister. As a condition to allow gira living out of the Hastie household, Racles ask Duuga, the Hastie's butler, to visit gira's place from time to time

-Jeramie had this 'madness of hope' that triggered his black blood

-i'm thinking about 'madness of justice' for gira but 'justice' will suit rita more...

i don't think i'll elaborate more about this au, but who knows
