When you think of the word hero, Optimus Prime quickly comes to mind. Once the trouble-making and laid back Energon miner, Orion Pax, is now the courageous, intelligent, and inspirational Autobot leader that everyone respects. He is one of the most caring and selfless cybertronian you could ever meet. He would easily sacrifice himself for his team and for the universe in a sparkbeat, though the other Autobots have had to stop him from doing so several times. His mind is as strong as his body. His strength and his iconic axe frightens any Decepticons in his path, causing them to quickly retreat back to their base. Despite his kind and powerful character, beneath the surface is a bot that weighs a heavy burden on his shoulders. Every Autobot casualty he had to witness, the failure to save Cybertron, the weight of his reputation, and unintentionally putting Earth in danger of the Decepticons has blended together into a damaged, exhausted mech that simply wants a moment of peace for him and his kind.

The second in command of the Autobots, Elita-One. One of Optimus’s oldest friends, she’s one of the most reliable and bravest bots he knows. She’s a competent but strict leader, even stricter than Optimus, but still just as fair as his leadership style. Despite her tough exterior and tough demeanor, she’s still compassionate towards her others. Though she’s not perfect. She’s willing to cross lines that Optimus wouldn’t to get the job done and protect her kind. This has put them at odds with each other and put a strain on their friendship. Despite this, they ultimately still care for and respect each other. Though she secretly resents him for not killing Megatron earlier.

The military strategist and twin brother of Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus. At first glance, he is a stone faced soldier that is just as dependable, courageous, and selfless as his sibling and just as respected. Though he is not as emotionless as his teammates may think. He just has a hard time expressing them, and his flat monotone voice doesn’t help at all. He is haunted by the feeling of not belonging in the world. Even when others try to convince him otherwise, he still feels out of place in the universe. But when he became the military strategist of the Autobots, he finally felt like he had a place in the world. No longer was he forced to work as an energon miner. Now he had a genuine purpose that he was happy with. But now that the war was over, he had lost that purpose. He didn’t want to go back to being the socially awkward bot that felt out of place with everyone around him. But what can he do now?
