got any sophitz headcanons????
[oops! sorry it took me so long to respond <3, I've been busy for a bit]
Trans!Femme Fitz first of all, she realized a little bit after she and Sophie got together
^ with the above, Fitz started to grow her hair out
They do each others hair
Fitz gets Sophie a bunch of clothes with pockets
They sneak out to the human world together sometimes
They both enjoy doing genealogy stuff
^ while doing so they discover that one of Fitz's ancestors was a human
They'll often sit under Calla's tree and just enjoy the others presence
Following them getting together their Cognate bond also grows
Sophie is the one who proposes to Fitz
Sophie loves to count the freckles on Fitz's face, that's her girlfriend y'all!
Sophie started to teach Fitz a bunch of different human games
They visit Amy sometimes when in the human world
Sophie got Fitz addicted to fantasy books, she loves pointing out inaccuracies about certain things and Sophie is happy to listen
[And that's all I've got for now! I don't often actually think abt my hcs regarding them, I usually just write and go with what feels right.]

okay okay but consider,,,, trans fitz?
Y E A H
Okay so I don't think Fitz would have chosen that name on his own so I'm just gonna go with Fitz and Biana are both trans and they traded names
Fitz pretty stubbornly refused to present femme as a kid, so when he started going to the forbidden cities he was almost always perceived as a boy
And he had the realization: "I like people thinking I'm a boy!"
Which led him to the conclusion "I am a boy."
He came out to Biana first, who then realized that if Fitz wanting to be a boy made him a boy, then her wanting to be a girl made her a girl
They came out to Della together, and she helped them come out to Alden
Alden was Not Happy about it but he mostly thought Fitz was just going through a tomboy phase and rolled with it
Fuck Alden, he didn't let Fitz get blockers either
Fitz learned about binding from Keefe (who learned about it from Elwin) so he did that a lot
Fitz and Biana have frequent discussions on how inconvenient it is that Fitz can't just. Donate his tiddies to her.
When Fitz first manifested as a telepath, he had a habit of reading Alden's mind until Alden misgendered him or Biana, and then transmitted the correct pronoun really loudly
Alden hated it. Della found it hilarious.
When Alden's mind broke in Exile, Fitz was upset but also kinda relieved because Alden was a shithead? But then he felt guilty for being relieved and yeah that was a fun time
He came out to Sophie when they started cognate training and Sophie was pretty chill about it.
Actually Dex calling Fitz "wonderboy" was incredibly validating
So the first time Dex called him wonderboy to his face, Fitz just got really happy
And Dex was like "what the fuck dude, that was supposed to be an insult."
"Yeah... but you called me a boy!!!"
"...okay weirdo."

Fitz is a trans man. Jemma is agender but prefers to use she/her pronouns bc its easier and dresses femme because she likes it and why the snickerdoodle not. Also they’re both bisexual and pansexual messes respectively.
Change my mind.

my personal kotlc gender/sexuality headcanons
why? because it’s 2 am and i wanted to make a post
sophie: THINKS she’s straight. is not. have you seen the way she talks about linh. sis is bi
fitz: dunno about him, but there’s something to be said about subtext here: this man is repressing next to every single emotion besides anger due to the soul crushing pressure of Society, so not-straightness would easily fall under this. i’ll go with bi for him.
biana: shes a lesbian no question. definitely faked having crushes on boys, and picked ones that were reasonable choices but would never like her back/be seriously open for a relationship. high femme. will kick your ass.
keefe: again with the subtext here- his dad is emotionally abusive and this can easily translate into familial homophobia. keefe acting out to purposely annoy him is equivalent to him flaunting his sexuality. i think he’s pan, gender is just not a factor for him, he will openly flirt with anyone
dex: bi legend but we all already know this. next
tam: TAM IS TRANS. in terms of sexuality i don’t think he particularly cares or wants to be labeled, he’d probably find it restricting. most likely not straight though.
linh: aro ace. so this one might be controversial but it’s true in my heart, she thinks romance between her friends is cute but has never been one for it in general. majorly against the matchmaking system.
wylie: aro. i’ve always felt a bit uncomfy shipping him with linh as seems to be popular, so i offer a solution: they’re best friends/QPPs who bond over having issues with the way elf society is ran especially in terms of relationships. (wylie also has gay dads prentice and tiergan)
marella: i’m not sure about her either but i can’t get butch lesbian marella out of my head so i’ve decided.
stina: i wasn’t originally planning on including stina but my brain gave me the following message: non-binary stina. and i agree wholeheartedly. they’re sick of your shit and cisnormativity!!

I'm not sure if you're taking prompts right now (sorry if you're not) but if you are, could you do a fic where Jemma figures out she's nonbinary? Thank you 💜
I technically am taking prompts, but tbh I probably won’t get to it for a million years or so *but* here are Some Fics I Prepared Earlier that you might appreciate.
the more things change - Simmons realises they’re trans/nonbinary. Features mild body dysphoria. Set in a ‘verse of mine in which Fitz is trans. (Relationships: FitzSimmons, romantic)
Desert Rose - Simmons deals with recovery after Maveth, features transfemme Simmons, can be read as a trans woman or femme-presenting nonbinary gender(s). (Relationships: Bus Kids, platonic)
and in case you’re interested I also have
Less Travelled By - At the Academy, Fitz comes out as nonbinary. (Relationships: FitzSimmons, romantic or platonic)
The Bridget!Verse - Trans masc/trans man Fitz, it’s not really a ‘verse per se, more of a collection / variations on a bc it entails a variety of settings, ships etc. but I thought I’d throw it out there in case you’re interested.
-
If you have any suggestions for other things you’d like to see around this theme, eg. different scenarios and ships etc., there’s no harm throwing them my way! I love sharing nb headcanons and if we’re both lucky I might just write something (but patience is a biiiiig must, sorry!)
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these!
