EMERGENCY! REPLACEMENT VAN BROKE DOWN - Homeless Family

If you've been keeping up with my story you would know that recently my homeless family had to replace the truck we've been staying in because it broke down just as winter was starting to come in. Welp, the van we had to rise money for is not as advertised and has also broke down, and now we have to either repair it or replace it too, obviously we don't have money for this sort of issue!

8 DAYS CHIMPANZEE SAFARI GOMBE STREAM AND MAHALE MOUNTAINS

This is a perfect safari combination to see chimpanzee up close in western Tanzania.

Ngombe stream National Park is the famous place where Jane Goodall did her research on chimpanzee populations. It is located on the western border of Tanzania and the Congo. and has 35 km² of protected land along the hills of the eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika. Mahale Mountains National Park is located close by, south of the city of Kigoma. It is the only place where chimpanzees and lions co-exist. This private safari offers you the flexibility to travel at your own pace, exactly the way you like it. You will have a private safari vehicle and guide. This itinerary is only available in one class.

Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN DAR ES SALAAM

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport, our friendly and knowledgeable guide will be eagerly waiting to warmly welcome you. He will be readily available to assist you and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel. Sit back, relax, and let us take care of all your travel needs, providing you with a memorable and unforgettable experience in Tanzania.

DAY 2: FLIGHT TO KIGOMA

Today you fly from Dar Es Salaam to Kigoma, on the western side of the country. When you arrive, a driver is waiting to bring you to your hotel, after which there is plenty of time to go for example on a city tour, visit a historial town or a nearby village, or go for boat ride on Lake Tanganyika. The next day it's all about the chimpanzees!

DAY 3-4: GOMBE STREAM NATIONAL PARK

Have you always dreamed of seeing chimps in their natural habitat? Then by all means visit the Gombe Stream National Park where Jane Goodall once did her behavioural research on chimpanzee populations. This small national park lies along the western border of Tanzania on the eastern shores of Lake Tanganyika, where it is only accessible by boat. Step into the footsteps of Jane Goodall as a guide takes you to watch groups of chimpanzees climb trees, play or nurse their babies!

DAY 5-6: MAHALE MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK

More chimpanzees await you in the Mahale Mountains National Park. At a 2.5-hour drive and a boat ride from Gombe National Park, this park is a bit larger and home to roughly 900 wild chimpanzees. The park is different from most since there are no roads and you have to go on foot. Experienced guides take you on a hike through the mountains in search of groups of chimpanzees. Once found, you get plenty of time to observe these beauties - a magical experience!

DAY 7: RETURN FROM MAHALE TO KIGOMA

After an amazing time with the chimpanzees, it is time to embark on your journey from Mahale back to Kigoma. This beautiful and adventurous journey by boat and car takes approximately eight hours.

DAY 8: FLIGHT TO DAR ES SALAAM AND FLIGHT HOME

This is your last day! Today you fly to Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar Es Salaam, from where you will catch your flight home. Having second thoughts? Then don't hesitate to extend your holiday to one of Tanzania's best destinations.

Hello. :) Lila is mistakenly identified as the person who committed a detention/suspension worthy offense. Her lies are revealed during the investigation. Marinette is the only person who believes Lila is innocent. Whether Lila is proven innocent is up to you. Redemption optional.

But now... blowing up the science lab?

Miss Mendeliev warned the class to be serious and pay attention to detail since they were experimenting with volatile chemicles.

She confiscated Rose’s perfume and pretty much all cell phones.

Lila even bragged about having done harder experiments. This blew up in her face quite literally. Everyone knew the explosion came from her desk.

Cameras proved it as well. It didn’t help Lila’s case that she was more focused on whispering stories than listening to Mendeliev.

Lila protested she did exactly what the instructions said. Do you think she would have wanted her looks to be ruined by an explosion? (Mostly everyone escaped unharmed but Lila’s face had minor burns and her hair was singed)

No matter. Lila will be suspended and her mother will have to pay for the damage to the lab.

Mrs Rossi was called over and told of the incident. She tried to appeal for a lighter punishment. Honestly, with the school being shut down for months, (online classes notwithstanding) is it really a good idea for Lila to miss more school?

Damocles: shut down?

Lila’s brain: oh crud

Bustier: what are you talking about? The school has never been shut down for more than a day. Ladybug and Chat Noir defeat the akuma within the hour. 2 at most.

Mrs Rossi: that’s not what Lila told me. It’s why she’s been at home for months now, with all these akumas around your school

Damocles: I do not deny Dupont is an akuma hotspot, but we have not been shut down for months!

Bustier: in fact, Lila told us the reason for her absence was because you were taking her to Achu on another diplomatic mission

Mrs Rossi turns to stare at her shrinking daughter. “I have never even been to Achu. Lila, have you been playing truant for months? Why?”

Knowing blaming Ladybug will get her nowhere, Lila claims to be afraid of being akumatized again after her Volpina incident. Or around akumas.

Mrs Rossi: that’s no reason to lie to me! I could have just tranferred you to a different school!

Bustier: out of curiosity, does Lila have tinnitus? Or even knows Jagged Stone?

Mrs Rossi: what does that have to with anything?

Bustier: Lila has been claiming numerous ailments in her efforts to help charities and from hanging out with her celebrity friends

Mrs Rossi: well, while I know Lila has mentioned being part of charity events, I can assure you she is perfectly healthy and all her friends, except her boyfriend Adrien, are not famous.

Bustier: Adrien is still single and is most assuredly not dating Lila.

Damocles: perhaps it’s her lying disease acting up. The one that makes her lie uncontrollably

Mrs Rossi: ...that’s called compulsive lying, you egghead!

Damocles: but...wouldn’t that mean she was lying about Miss Dupain-Cheng?

Bustier: I’m afraid so.

Damocles: I’m going to have to apologize to her again, aren’t I?

Both women: obviously

Needless to say Lila is expelled instead of suspended, though Mr Damocles decides to conduct a proper investigation before making it official

Lila is forced to confess in front of the whole class.

Kim: so the explosion was probably some attempt to make us feel sorry for you!

Lila: are you kidding me? If I wanted to make you feel sorry for me, I wouldn’t actually hurt myself to do it! I am telling you for the last time, I followed those lab instructions and no, I did not misread the chemical labels.

Alix: probably too busy bragging to bother checking

Marinette: i cannot believe i am saying this, but I think Lila is innocent about the lab explosion

No one misses the irony of the situation. After Lila herself framed Marinette, and the latter kept on calling her a liar, now Marinette is the only one defending Lila and insisting the latter was framed.

Alya: girl, I know you like to forgive bullies and all, but this is a bit much

Marinette: i haven’t forgiven Lila. I’m just being logical. Vain as she is, do you honestly think Lila would risk injuring her appearance? She favours fake injuries not real ones. Even if she can’t stop talking about herself, she knows when to pay attention.

Mendeliev: be that as it may, the proof is in the footage. Lila used the wrong chemicals and now the lab still smells of smoke

Marinette: maybe the labels were mixed up?

Pause. Ok, that could be true, except...

Mendeliev: impossible. It wasn’t only me who checked the lab preparations. It was double checked by lab assistants and triple checked by Caline.

Caline nodded. “It’s true. Everything had been labelled correctly. I am sorry but Lila has to take responsibility for her carelessness.”

Lila: oh for crying out loud, if I lie and said something glamorous, would you believe I am innocent then?

Lila was taken away. It would take time for her mother to find a new school that would accept such a troublesome student, but in the meantime, Lila would need to find a job. Her allowance has been cut off and the damage costs were paid out of her own funds.

Marinette talked to Tikki about this. The former still believed Lila was innocent. Tikki herself decides to give Lila the benefit of the doubt, but the evidence is hard to deny.

Marinette: we could see Lila reading the instructions and labels in the footage. I wonder what’s really going on.

That night, as Marinette slept, Tikki confronted Plagg.

Plagg: so I switched some labels. It’s not like anybody saw me.

Tikki: that was really dangerous

Plagg: please. You’re talking to the kwami of destruction. Like I don’t know how to mix chemicals. Pfft.

Tikki: but why now? After all the horrible things Lila has done, why now?

Plagg: after a couple of joint photo shoots, she complained that Adrien stinks of my cheese to his dad, and now I’m stuck with plastic-wrapped cheese sticks.

Tikki sighs. Of course.

Plagg: besides, think of the good it did. Liar girl is exposed and out of our lives. (True. Lila has decided to move on from Dupont)

Tikki: I still feel sorry for her mother having to pay for the damage you caused

Plagg: think of it as the cost for not properly raising her daughter.

Tikki: you could have caused an akuma.

Plagg: but i didn’t.

Tikki: actually why didn’t we see any butterflies? There should have been enough negative emotion for Hawkmoth to send one.

Plagg: gee, maybe because the riot across the city was angrier than a school issue? (Lately the akumas came from them)

Reverse CAIN AU

More parasitic Raava, the AU no one asked for? Yep. c:

-You know my fic CAIN, where Raava posseses Zuko, and Vaatu posseses Azula? Like that except Raava posseses Azula, and Vaatu posseses Zuko. Also, Lu Ten and Azulon live this time.

-And the dominoes just fall from there.

-During his campaign at Ba Sing Se, Iroh's son Lu Ten manages to deliver the killing blow on the Earth Kingdom's Avatar. Unfortunately, he is also gravely wounded.

-With his own son on the brink of death, Iroh eyes are finally opened to the true cost of war and conquest. He abandons his campaign and retreats back to the Fire Nation, a failure.

-On the way back, Lu Ten falls deathly ill. He's feverish and lethargic, pleading with some invisible force to leave him be.

-The medics assume that his wounds may be infected, despite showing no outward signs of infection. In fact, they seem to be healing cleanly.

-Iroh suspects that the illness may be spiritual in nature, and turns to the spirits himself, in the hopes that he may plead with them to spare his son. Although, he fears that it may be too late.

-It's not too long after that the other crew members of the ship start to become ill themselves. They suffer from chills, lethargy, shortness of breath, and general weakness. Another thing is that their firebending diminishes greatly.

-Many crewmen complain of seeing a strange glow-eyed figure stalking the halls at night, sucking the life out of everyone. However, no evidence of said being is found when morning rolls around. Another thing is that, when encountering the glow-eyed figure, the crewmen can't help but say that they were completely out of it during the encounter. And after the encounter is over, they wake up in their beds as if nothing had happened. Well, they feel sick and weak, but there's no physical evidence they were ever bothered.

-Some suspect that Lu Ten had actually perished and that the figure is him, stalking the halls stealing the breath of his shipmates. However, Lu Ten is clearly alive, and fighting for his life.

-Iroh suspects that angry spirits from Ba Sing Se had followed them. All he can do is pray to Agni for protection.

-As the problem worsens, and even the komodo rhinos start to fall ill, Iroh decides to stay up to investigate the figure. He leaves his door open and waits for darkness to fall. Sure enough he hears soft footsteps and labored breathing slowly approach. He exits his cabin, fire in hand to light the way. He has no intentions of attacking the spirit unless absolutely nessisary. Iroh hopes that maybe he can reason with it, maybe help it find peace. Or if worse comes to worse, sacrifice himself so that the others will be left alone.

-Iroh's sins are heavy, and he feels them weigh on him hardest when he spots the figure down the hall. Glowing white eyes gaze upon him hauntingly. There's a bright blue pattern shining on the figure's abdomen. His breath catches in his throat, he can feel a flood of alien energy overcome him, his mind going fuzzy and getting fuzzier as the figure grows closer. The fire in his palm weaknening gradually.

-Until eventually he starts to hear a quiet pleading. "No, not him... anyone but him... please..." The figure halts it's stilted gait, and gazes at Iroh, like it's considering something. Then it slowly turns around and shambles off into the dark.

-It isn't until long after the figure has gone that Iroh comes back to his senses. He searches the ship, and finds Lu Ten in his bed, fast sleep from his medication. Iroh sits by his son's side for the rest of the night. He isn't sure how or why, but he feels like Lu Ten may have saved his life somehow.

-When they reach port in the Fire Nation, Iroh is the only one that hasn't fallen ill. The crew are all taken away to recieve medical care and Iroh takes Lu Ten back with him to be cared for by the royal doctors.

-Once everyone is off the ship, Fire Sages come and bless every inch of it, as well as the beds of the sick crewmen.

-However, once they get off the ship, they all make speedy recoveries. Their chi balances quickly returning to normal.

-Meanwhile in the palace, Lu Ten remains bedridden, Iroh by his side like a broken man. Iroh prays to the spirits to spare his son.

-Soon enough, Azula falls mysteriously ill.

-This isn't what Iroh was hoping for. Ozai blames Iroh for his daughter's illness. Ursa tries the reassure him that it's not his fault. Iroh's guilt doubles anyway.

-Lu Ten slowly recovers, though he seems haunted. Much more sullen and withdrawn now. Iroh tries to get his son to open up. After much gentle prodding, in confidence he does.

-Lu Ten tells his father about his experiences after taking down the Avatar. He explains that he killed the Avatar in the avatar state and when he did, the dying Avatar looked him directly in the eyes. Their eerie glow meeting the gold of his own, and in the moment it was like a komodo rhino had struck him. At first he thought that he had just been injured, and that the heaviness in his soul was him dying. But as the darkness took over, the void gave into the innumerable voices all crying at him, most screaming about how much of a horrible person he was, some begging for him to change his ways if he survived. When the voices finally quieted down, he could hear a woman call out to him. She cooed soothing words into his ear, telling him to relax, take it easy. Telling him to give into her. Lu Ten recalled how miserable it was trying to fight her off, as soothing as she was, she set off so many alarms in his concious mind. He started to see the visages of the past Avatars looming over him as he laid in bed. They all glared at him, eyes ablaze with white light. He admitted to being the mysterious figure haunting the ship. Telling Iroh that the woman, whom he suspected was actually the Avatar Spirit, had taken over control of him and was using him as a conduit to drain the life of his crewmates. He was too weak from his wounds and illness to fight her off.

-Most damningly of all, he finally recovered now that she's left him be.

-Iroh doesn't know what to make of this. But he keeps the secret between him and Lu Ten.

-Of course Lu Ten still needs a lot more time to fully recover from his injuries, but he's a lot healther than he was. Also, eerily, his wounds are a lot more healed than they should be.

-Soon after falling ill, Azula notices she now has a voice in her head. Well, many voices, but the most dominant one is a female voice.

-At first she wonders if the voice is her mother, trying to turn her mind against her. However, the voice is nothing like her mother. In fact they don't even sound alike.

-The past Avatars go much easier on Azula than they did on Lu Ten, after all, Azula is a child. They figure that she hasn't played a role in the war. Unlike Lu Ten who directly killed the previous Avatar.

-Iroh tries to reason with the spirits, he offers himself in Azula's stead. He has his issues with the child, but he'd much rather she not suffer.

-Raava finds that Azula respects power. She slowly works with the past Avatars to draw Azula onto her side.

-Zuko, being the sweet little bean that he is does his best to help care for his ailling sister.

-While Lu Ten is still weak and recovering from his illness/wounds, Ozai makes his move. Claiming that Iroh is too weak for the throne. Azulon is pissed and tells Ozai that the spirits will make him feel the same pain.

-Seeing the full extent of his son's callousness, Azulon considers having both his children tranfered over to Iroh's care.

-But also because he wants to punish Ozai for being a shitty, worthless, second born.

-In her time of illness, Azula comes to genuinely appreciate Zuko. She grows closer to him, as Zuko is the one that's there for her when Father isn't.

-As the solstice gets closer, something starts to reach out to Zuko, claiming that it can help him save his sister. Zuko eagerly listens in and on the day of the solstice, he goes missing.

-The next morning he's found unconcious and feverish.

-A voice in Zuko's head whispers to him. Vaatu feeding his darker thoughts and impulses.

-While Vaatu makes Zuko act more like Book1!Zuko, he is unable to get the boy to do anything genuinely awful or twisted. He finds that Zuko would rather suffer than inflict needless suffering on others.

-Raava tells Azula that she's going to have to fight her own brother, to restrain him for his own good.

-The two spirits create a rift between their respective hosts.

-One that the siblings must work hard to overcome.

Have You Seen the Information About Pokémon Home?  Have You SEEN It?

Just going off on what I've read on Serebii.net. It's basically where I get all my Pokémon news from. So information has been released on Pokémon Home finally. It has a subscription model, but most of its features can still be used for free (just to a lesser extent). Unfortunately, one of the features that requires a subscription is transferring Pokémon from Bank to Home. Fortunately, you don't need a Nintendo Online subscription on top of that, which what I was worried most about. That sort of thing can really stack up. Lemme run down the features for you: The subscription (shared between platforms as long as they log into the same Nintendo Network ID) is $2.99 USD for one month, $4.99 for three months, or $15.99 for a year. I think that's cheaper than Nintendo Online, though more expensive than Bank (five dollars a year). I have wonder about the future of Bank, though. It could get more expensive to use as time goes on and fewer people use it. I mean, I don't know how much it costs to maintain that system or how seperate it is from Home. I'm concerned, as I have been bevore, that eventually they will find justification to shut down Bank entirely and evertything from Gen 7 on down will be stranded. You won't even be able to transfer to or from Gen 6 and 7 (and I guess Virtual Console versions of Gen 1 and 2), since Gen 3-5 could transfer directly using system hardware (as could Gen 1 and 2, but you can't transfer from two to three). Granted, homebrew enthusiasts will likely find a way (it's possible now using flashcarts and whatnot), but I don't know if any of that would be as reliable or trustworthy as Nintendo (say what you will, it can still be less). National Dex Pretty much all the features you could want in the National Dex, with data reflecting which games you've connected Home too. Screenshots show data including Let's Go and going back to X & Y (possibly further?). You get to see all Pokémon forms, including Dynamax, Mega Evolution, and Shiny, and the mobile version will even list Moves and Abilities. Pokémon Storage and Transfer You can store 30 Pokémon for free and 6000 with subscription. It doesn't say what happens when you subscription runs out, but I assume it works like Bank; It'll hold on to them until you retrieve them, but you can't but more in until there's less than 30. The Let's Go games can transfer Pokémon out for free, but as I stated above tranferring out of Bank requires a subscription. As with Bank and Gen 7, Pokémon and be transferred into and out of Sword and Shield as you please, but there's no transferring back to the other games or Bank. Home will be able to access Bank on both Switch and Mobile, however it will not be able to access Pokémon Go at launch. There appears to be two ways to transfer between Bank and Home. If both Bank and Home connect to a Nintendo Account with the same Nintendo Network ID, you can transfer everything at once. Otherwise, you will need to get a password from Home to input into Bank to connect the two, and then only one box at a time. I'm guessing Bank will receive an update, since I don't recall it being able to accept passwords before. Trading Only available for mobile users. You can trade with people on your Friend's List in Home for free. GTS is available for free. Like before, you can only have one Pokémon up for trade at a time. If you have a subscription, however, you can put up three. Wonder Box is just like Wonder Trade, except free users can deposit three at once. With a subscription, this rises to ten. ...These limits feel somewhat arbitrary to me, but I guess it's still more bang for your buck. Room Trade is available for free, but only subscribers can host a room. Each room can hold up to fifteen users, who will then trade at random. I don't understand this feature or why it exists when you already have all these other options. I guess it's like a white elephant party (white Donphan? Cufant? Copperaja?). Screenshots don't show chat features, just the avatars (protagonist sprites) and Pokémon of the users, and I doubt there'd be anything other than canned phrases if there was. This can't be for meeting random strangers, but if you're going through the trouble of organizing this kind of room what's the point of having it be random trades? I mean, white elephant, sure, but is this really a thing people want? Well, I guess we'll find out when it launches. Mystery Gift Available for free, mobile users can receive Gifts locally or by code. Pokémon go right into your storage, but items are still codes for mainline games so don't use your phone for items, I guess. Pokémon Pass is obsolete now, which is fine since it keeps crashing on me. Judge Premium users can view their Pokémon's IV's. Makes sense to me. Your Room Available for free, but only to mobile users. Not really a room, probably more of a home page. This is where you'll find news updates and the ability to edit your profile (which I assume others can see). There doesn't appear to be much to the profile but completing varoius "Challenges" (which seems to including transfering certain Pokémon) gets you stickers to decorate it with. In fact, I'd dare say most of your profile space will be devoted to stickers. Battle Data Available for free, mobile users can find information on Ranked Battles and Online Competitions. You can also check on the battle data of other users. Pokémon Home Points Like with PokéMiles in Bank, you can earn Home Points in Home somehow and exchange them for BP in Sword or Shield. Unlike in Bank (as far as I know) you can choose how many points to transfer to your game, which I think is great. I'd totally transfer my point from Bank if I could choose how much to put into which game. The exchange rate appears to be 30 HP for one BP.

This has been around so much and I think most my partners have already done this and tagged me in it XD

1 ) WHAT DOES YOUR MUSE SMELL LIKE ?   John smells like sage, chalk, and tobacco smoke. He tends to have an woodsy scent to him overall, like drift and sandal wood. He has a real weakness for Indian food so may smell strongly of coriander and cumin. John wears cologne rarely, though he gravitates toward citrusy scents. I feel like he’d really get into the trend of custom scents because they’re relatively inexpensive compared to the pricier scents he usually buys because he doesn’t like cheap to mid range perfume. It should be noted that he had no problem wearing women’s scents, though avoids some florals as a matter of taste (mostly the more delicate smells because they just don’t last). As it has been mentioned…probably too many times but hey, for even more posterity. John smells very different to any creature or person that has a preternaturally sensitive sense of smell. He smells like a witch’s alter, incense, candle wax, and dried flowers. A church so old that the smell of old flowers, wine, holy water, and incense is pervasive. 

2 ) HOW OFTEN DOES YOUR MUSE BATHE / SHOWER ? ANY HABITS ?     John showers at least every other day as a general rule. He always does before a date and frequently washes up before sex. He’s a fairly simple guy when it comes to his shampoo, conditioner, and soaps. He prefers to support independently run shops and franchises that aren’t affiliated with corporations, so he generally pays a bit more for his toiletries than most. John likes scented shampoos and conditioners to neutralize the scent of cigarette smoke that lingers throughout the day, He uses a glycerin soap, sandalwood scented.

3 ) DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS ?  One tattoo on his ass (a pictograph of an evergreen tree. Swamp Thing is a punk bitch), and at one point his entire torso was covered in ritual tattoos, home done by Clarice to prevent this particular type of demon from possessing him. The ink faded entirely away in time, leaving behind only the faint lines as scarification (note: This is head canon. In most comics they are never seen again. They were in the first Injustice, which, admittedly was nice to see, but I mean, at what fucking cost?)

4 ) ANY BODY MOVEMENT QUIRKS ( EX : LEG SHAKING ) ?   John is very disciplined with his gestures and movements. He’s very thoughtful and deliberate. If he ever seems impulsive, awkward, or clumsy, it’s because he’s around someone that he’s let his guard down considerably, he’s very drunk, or doing so on purpose.

5 ) WHAT DO THEY SLEEP IN ?  He sleeps naked as a general rule. In winter, he occasionally sleeps in socks and sweat pants.

6 ) WHAT’S THEIR FAVORITE PIECE OF CLOTHING ?   The coat is probably the easiest answer, but in truth, John doesn’t put a lot of meaning or gets attached to replacable objects.

7 ) WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY WAKE UP ?  John generally wakes up in the afternoon. He’s an insomniac and when he does finally get a solid night of sleep, he tends to sleep in. Of course, he also tends to be a light sleeper so if he goes to bed with a partner, he tend to wake with them, to varying degrees of grumpiness. John’s not really a morning person.

8 ) HOW DO THEY SLEEP ?  POSITION ?    John sleeps on his back and tends to sprawl. He is a big cuddler when he’s in bed with someone (presumably a lover, in this case). John’s not real picky when it comes to being the big or little spoon. He can be a restless sleeper and has frequent nightmares.

9 ) WHAT DO THEIR HANDS FEEL LIKE ?   His hands are soft but slightly scarred from being tattooed on his palms. John really hadn’t done a bit of hard work in his life so they’re not very calloused.

10 ) IF YOU KISSED THEM, WHAT WOULD THEY USUALLY TASTE LIKE ?  Smokey sweet with a hint of mint. He does take care of teeth and breath. A part of me wonders if there’s magic involved somehow. Like perhaps some kind of herbal concoction, but I digress. He tastes better than might be imagined. Often he also tastes of some kind of liquor, either gin or whiskey.
