So I was editing this for a potential new pfp by putting pride flags behind each of them and

Right so I am literally talking about how when a trans woman says transmisogyny exists and that transmascs have privilege over transfems, she'll get bombarded with claims of how she, as a white transfem (it fully doesn't matter if she is white or not, but this typically works because all the vocal transfems with popular blogs are white cause y'all drove most of the POC transfems off the site years ago), has privilege over POC transmascs, a true statement, that has nothing to do with what she says but sounds like it does.

This is a strategy that relies on the fact that if she agrees with that, it makes her sound like her theory is incorrect, but if she denies it, she sounds racist and will be accused as such in the callouts and doxxing that follows. Meanwhile every POC transmasc I have met is tired of this shit and hates the fact that white boys use them as a tool to bully transfems off the website.

This is a strategy used by transandrophobia truthers and transmascs who deny the existence of transmisogyny, a venn diagram that is almost a circle. So yeah, my point stands.

I can in fact answer your question. Yes. In fact, I was talking to my parter, who is a transmasc POC, last night. And I talk about everything I post about trans rights in a group chat that is nearly entirely transmascs and transfems of color. He was telling me how annoyed he was at transandrophobia truthers who used tone deaf arguments that weaponized transmascs of color. You know, like I've been saying. Because he told me about it and I figured it was important to say.

I've also got white transmasc friends who understand that they hold the privilege of both men and white people, while still being targets of transphobia. Who understand that transfems do not hold a position of privilege of transmascs, and understand that they hold privilege over tranfems. Because intersectionality is a thing and not just something we yell at each other to win arguments.

I am assuming that like "a white woman" is to claim that I'm acting like a white woman, which I should probably make a whole different post on why that's an issue for men (i'm assuming you're a man here, apologies if not, but like, you're an anonymous person going up to bat for MRAs, the odds are good you're a dude) to say (tldr in advance, men used terms invented by minorities describing racism and entitlement and used it for misogyny; like karen)

Hey sorry if this is weird but I saw your three month old tag on a post about characters with popular transmasc headcanons often having kind of better arcs if you headcanon them as transfem where you said ‘no one is ready to hear this about naoto persona’ and I just wanted to give you a firm virtual handshake because oh my god I’ve been saying that for years. Your tag is genuinely the first crumb I’ve seen in literal actual years that anyone is in the same headcanon boat as me on this. It’s a more satisfying arc. It makes logical sense. And seeing some random stranger on the internet randomly agree with me was a nice reminder I wasn’t going insane about it. Sorry for being dramatic it’s just weirdly validating

YESS exactly what i mean about it being a more satisfying arc, like. obviously a trans headcanon here is going to necessitate taking some liberties either way because the intention is clearly "(cis) girl grows up in an environment where she is lead to believe that only men can accomplish anything and so she must force herself into that identity (!) and forsake her own to not live a miserable life, only to be shown that that's not the case and that she can be whoever she wants, at which point she starts to leave that mask behind and be herself thanks to a supportive friend group" but like. i don't know how you don't see a tranfem experience in that (beyond ignorance). i think a transmasc naoto reading (where this just becomes "trans guy detransitions because persona 4 le bad") is a conclusion you can only come to if you either didn't play the game or just have a narrow worldview so to speak. i don't know, i like this game a lot and i feel like a lot of people's perceptions of it are colored by these sorts of bad faith readings.

how does this look? i tried to make the colors work while also being a mix of orange/pink without being red and i think it looks decent

i also mixed those with the tranfem one and i like it but it may be a little too close to the transfem one

i had some ideas for @dr3amming's idea of honeybee transfem to be a non-agab version of afab transfem

i wanted to base them off of the other transfem flags and tried to base it off of the afab transfem flag but it didnt look very good

i personally like 2 with 4 coming in close second place

fem clothes are just so much nicer than masc clothes, as a tranfem gal. Like the colors and the softness are just better. Interested to hear what a transmasc would say about masc clothes.
