Hey sorry if this is weird but I saw your three month old tag on a post about characters with popular transmasc headcanons often having kind of better arcs if you headcanon them as transfem where you said ‘no one is ready to hear this about naoto persona’ and I just wanted to give you a firm virtual handshake because oh my god I’ve been saying that for years. Your tag is genuinely the first crumb I’ve seen in literal actual years that anyone is in the same headcanon boat as me on this. It’s a more satisfying arc. It makes logical sense. And seeing some random stranger on the internet randomly agree with me was a nice reminder I wasn’t going insane about it. Sorry for being dramatic it’s just weirdly validating

YESS exactly what i mean about it being a more satisfying arc, like. obviously a trans headcanon here is going to necessitate taking some liberties either way because the intention is clearly "(cis) girl grows up in an environment where she is lead to believe that only men can accomplish anything and so she must force herself into that identity (!) and forsake her own to not live a miserable life, only to be shown that that's not the case and that she can be whoever she wants, at which point she starts to leave that mask behind and be herself thanks to a supportive friend group" but like. i don't know how you don't see a tranfem experience in that (beyond ignorance). i think a transmasc naoto reading (where this just becomes "trans guy detransitions because persona 4 le bad") is a conclusion you can only come to if you either didn't play the game or just have a narrow worldview so to speak. i don't know, i like this game a lot and i feel like a lot of people's perceptions of it are colored by these sorts of bad faith readings.

fem clothes are just so much nicer than masc clothes, as a tranfem gal. Like the colors and the softness are just better. Interested to hear what a transmasc would say about masc clothes.

how does this look? i tried to make the colors work while also being a mix of orange/pink without being red and i think it looks decent

i also mixed those with the tranfem one and i like it but it may be a little too close to the transfem one

i had some ideas for @dr3amming's idea of honeybee transfem to be a non-agab version of afab transfem

i wanted to base them off of the other transfem flags and tried to base it off of the afab transfem flag but it didnt look very good

i personally like 2 with 4 coming in close second place
