Thinking about an AU where the entirety of Class B are traitors working for All for One 🤔
And the thing is, it works to cause All for One apparently had a huge following before he was arrested so it's possible that 1-B could be a part of that you know?
And it's also just really fun to imagine them as villains or someone from Class 1-A finding out their the tradior

i thought endeavours attempt at atonement arc was interesting… but GOD i regret liking it at all!!
because the whole of the todo-fam drama was shifted to be centric from him!!!
shoutos meeting w rei gets off-screeened but everything with endeavour gets shown.
instead of two brothers broken down by their abuser and his expectations in different ways coming to together to fight— but ultimately end up understanding each other, you get this mess 😭
you get a shouto that is now a side character, pretty much irrelevant to the story once endeavours redemption in s5 began….
honestly w enji, he just ruined both shouto and dabi’s potential imo
like il it might’ve just been wishful thinking… with the whole dabi-loving-his-siblings-and-not-being-COMPLETELY-awful- BUT they really should’ve had him be a lil kinder i think! but making him less evil, making him not murder 30 random innocents, then undos the “ever so necessary” endeavour atonement arc
but dabis fight shouldve then turned to being about shouto- the sibling he loved and canonically called for to join the sibs play, but also the sibling he almost killed in a jealous rage….
then with him surrendering and staying in hospital, with NO visitation for endeavour, but rather shouto being the one who visits him the most (natsuo being a close second but being busy living his best life as a family man to his mousefamily)… or just straight up dies but after surrendering, like saying he wants to be in peace and understands now… because his hatred for endeavour literally fuelled his will to live so him making his peace with it could make him die!
also the bakugo plot was completely awful as well!
endeavour and him are both arseholes tarnished by the privilege society offers them
MEETING endeavours family and seeing the consequences in his FACE for acting like that in the long-term should’ve made jim change
IN FACT BEFORE THAT… upon his discovery at the sports fest, he should’ve realised that Endeavour’s similarities with him could make him potentially go down that same path
AND why does his whole plot revolve around saving deku?? i get that their characters r integral to each other but he could’ve also grown to appreciate midoriya in a diff way.
heres my idea:
ok so tetsutetsu and kendo fight an irrelevant canon fodder villain… and mustard is the FIRST person to find bakugo— before anyone even knows that villains are there.
mustard: a blonde haired boy whose quirk is excreting an element with dangers consequences… just like bakugo
also mustard: a bullied kid, wearing a middle school uniform, teased for his quirk status… just like midoriya
hes the perfect combo of both characters and wuld be a good character for bakugo to initially confront
then when it comes to the actual war…. hes back and theyre fighting. mustard’s quirk cancels out bakugo’s nitroglycerin-like liquid and he can’t explode anymore yet neither can mustard make ppl sleep…. so they have to fight quirkless
BAKUGO FIGHTING QUIRKLESS! in doing so he can realise his faults towards midoriya— how he would’ve been capable without a quirk, and how he couldve driven him to snap! and he could realise that he could’ve been just like mustard and had a “useless” quirk— like his parents had non-heroic type quirk snd he could’ve too!
the other character how i hate was done…. hawks‼️
like we get his abused-child-turned-child-soldier story explained… and we get him spying on the villains
but what i really would’ve loved would be a moment where he’s like “at one point, i couldnt tell whether i was acting for the comissions will— to fake being a traitor, or if my heart wanted to be free and join the villains”
and like him becoming close w the villain and blurring the line between his perception of humantiy, good v evil, black v white etc… only the then kill twice, a good friend, for the “greater good” of society and choose his side officially…
only to then find out that twice had a point— that society and the commision were complicit in endeavours abuse
and then hawks breaks— the realisation that the man he idolised, the reason for him BECOMING a child soldier, the man who rescued him from his abusive father WAS an abusive father too and the villains had a point about everything and he was just too focused on the commisions will driven into him to see it.
then maybe tokoyami speaks to him, helps him the light— hells him see how society can evolve if they give it a chance to try and asks him to join jim together in changing it…. and then u get the fight w him vs afo
AND then him becoming the president of the commission would make a bit more sense!
[in my mind mera would be the president and hawks maybe a political activist and public speaker and philanthropist using both his— and endeavours (guilt-given) money from heroing to fund good lives for ppl so they never turn to villain]y
it would make sm sense if he had a talk w tokoyami about then wanting to strive to cause the changes he wants— so that there’s no new keigo takami’s, or touya todoroki’s, or himiko toga’s… or bubaigawa jin’s

I love Dabi/Touya but honestly your post about him had me nodding my head in agreement 😭 but hey Dabi had to be a disaster to someone because let's face it - at best he was a small thorn in his abusers path of "redemption" because well it's not like anyone even gave a shit about Enji being an abuser, the civilians were just pissed he did a poor job at stopping Shigaraki in the first war and about Dabi's kills but they don't give two shits about him being a domestic abuser, all the "heroes" don't give two hoots about it either because he cried a lil, changed and is good at his job 😒 like literally has his sidekicks still beside him and hawks is his little cheerleader and well hey he's apparently going to be "atoning" for the rest of his life but hey that falls flat when we learn kids STILL want to be like him in the future!
Real talk. Imagine a universe where Overhaul is a hero and was found to be experimenting on Eri. Let's say a young Kai Chisaki was found by All Might and raised as his son, but then All Might getting hurt by AFO drove him a bit mad. He heals All Might but gets obsessed about "solving" crime by removing people's powers and putting the tools in the hands of heroes to take quirks from villains at will. During a raid on a yakuza base, he finds Eri and The Boss' notes about her power, and he gets some ideas. He takes the kid in as his foster daughter and then her life becomes hell. To the people, he's a famous hero scientist and healer. But behind closed doors, he's an abuser.
The guy could have just done an apology and they'd have forgiven him. "Sorry, I needed to torture that girl because quirk erasing bullets would ensure a society of JUSTICE! But I realize now what I did was wrong and I'm trying to atone." Imagine if this also got leaked during the first war arc, so we've got Endeavor, Hawks and Overhaul all addressing the crowd's complaints at the press conference. But then the only thing people ask Overhaul is "Will you continue to use your quirk to heal us?" And "Will you fix the roads and the damaged buildings using your power?" And he says yes, and they're appeased. None of the good guy characters have an issue with what he did, suddenly, even if they really should. Oh, but it's fine because Eri forgave him, right? An extreme example, but given how no one even thought twice about forgiving Aoyama when he got outed as the traitor and the characters don't even discuss the controversy with Hawks and Endeavor's actions? We had what, a brief conversation when Tokoyami rescued Hawks where Tokoyami told him he did the right thing? And nothing else. The good guys just don't engage if another good guy does something morally dubious. I believe this is entirely on brand for this series. It was pure plot armor and dumb luck that no one ever died as a result of Aoyama leaking information. Imagine if Moonfish had successfully skewered Shoji's heart and then ate him. Imagine if Mustard had gunned down both Kendo and Tetsutetsu and they died from their injuries. What about if the League successfully kidnapped both Bakugo and Tokoyami, but Shigaraki decided he only wanted Bakugo, so he films himself turning Tokoyami to dust so he can send the video to the heroes and news stations to highlight their failures to protect kids? That was entirely outside of Aoyama's control but his classmates didn't care that they all only continue to exist because the villains were thankfully too incompetent to kill them. The crimes of heroes just don't matter. These people allegedly enforce the law but only when a villain is the one doing the law breaking. Heroes are allowed to make mistakes and get forgiven.

AU where students from the same middle school aren't placed in the same class at UA
I guess it's a good thing that no middle schools get more than two kids into the hero track then...
1- Sorry Bakugou and Mina, you're getting put in 1B to separate you from people you know. (This has got to be a weird social experiment for Nedzu, giving his students "fresher" starts maybe? He did that to poor Tamaki and Mirio too huh) In their place are Ibara and Awase. (It should probably be Ibara and Nirengeki but 💙 Awase is a favorite 💙)
2- Mina and Itsuka are the Big Sisters team of Class 1B, the vice and class representative respectively. Mina is the cool big sister who lends you makeup and cheers you up, and Itsuka is the big sister who fixes your haircut and covers for you from Mom. Anyone in class 1B would kill for either of them. The reverse is also true. Well...... Almost anyone in 1B would kill for them... Mina is also going to make sure that 1B has the most fabulous culture festival on record for UA, ever.
3- Bakugou considers his class a bunch of extras and dislikes how him being the entrance exam winner did not win him the class election automatically, nor how Monoma pivots to being open about disliking him after a few hours of knowing him. ("It's tragic, but better one bad member of a class than twenty of them, 1A. Well, one bad member and a TRAITOR, MINA, I SEE YOU HANGING OUT WITH DISCOUNT TETSUTETSU."). That said, he slowly begins to respect some of his classmates: Itsuka (for controlling Monoma), Shishida and Honenuki (raw power + composure), and Setsuna (good test of power.) He thinks Vlad is an ok teacher, and he does excell at increasing the raw damage his students deal on the battlefield.
4- Ibara, in contrast, gets more training from Aizawa about dext and using minimal vines for the max purpose, rather than as much as possible. She has tea with Tokoyami and Momo often, and Momo reports that she isn't sure if the other two are on the same page or not, because their speech is very dramatic and they're either portending doom or debating spiritualism. But either way they keep meeting so?? Friendship I guess?? She and Sato bake for the dorm every week, and Izuku goes to her for help with Black Whip (she only tries an exorcism once)
5- Awase is just so cool so everyone in 1A loves him too I think this is a very unbiased opinion for me to have. He's got a friendly rivalry with Sero, likes to spar with Ojiro, and has the most incomprehensible arguments with Kaminari when they should be going to bed. Izuku gets excited to work with him and his quirk in groups, (his sharp language is familiar, but warm, and there's something else about him that's familiar, at the back of Izuku's mind, where he can't quite reach... ) and Awase appreciates him.

I spend a lot of time harping on the disappointing and frustrating aspects of MHA, so I'd like to change gears and talk about some specific positives for me:
- Ida, Todoroki, and Izuku's friendship during and post Stain Arc. The way those three stuck together was just awesome, and we got the legitimately funny 'Hand Crusher' moment.
- Eri being 100% ride or die for Izuku. I'm not a fan of Eri (specifically her writing), but seeing her going so hard for Izuku in the light novels were the ONLY bearable moments for me.
- Kota becoming an Izuku fanboy and apologizing for how he acted towards him, specifically how he ran up to hug Izuku after the Dark Izuku Arc.
- All Might and Inko owning up to their mistakes and working to make up for them.
- The audience legitimately cheering for Sero after his match with Todoroki during the Sports Festival, seeing as how unfairly matched up they were.
- The OFA vestiges (for the most part) being genuinely kind and helpful towards Izuku, gently encouraging him to rest and not push himself during the Dark Izuku Arc
- Dark Shadow absolutely loving Izuku and being so gentle with him during 1A vs Izuku 🥺
- Aizawa FINALLY realizing how unfair and awful he'd been towards Izuku during the PLF War, specifically after hearing Izuku stand up for him
- AFO in Kamino Ward was badass. Enough said.
- Dadmight and Izuku. No other words needed.
- Ida comforting and reassuring Izuku that he'd always be there to help him during 1A vs Izuku.
- Endeavor actually realizing how awful he was towards his family, and Natsuo and Shoto being more or less allowed to feel conflicted/resentful of him.
Those are all very nice moments, I do have to say. I agree wholeheartedly with all of them.
Adding to that list, I love how the girls support each other. It’s such a good group dynamic and I love that despite their differences they all look out for each other and their friendship is strong.
I may criticize the plotline as a whole, but I do like that instead of turning on the Yuuei traitor they understood the traitor’s situation and promised to help the traitor with their issues. It was honestly really heartwarming.
I love Kaminari, Sero, and Kirishima’s adorkable friendship. They’re all so goofy together!
I love seeing Kirishima and Tetsutetsu’s bonding moment during the Sports Festival. Kiri definitely needed another friend and branching the gap between the (at the time) nebulous 1-B and our 1-A was really nice. (Plus the separated at birth theory makes me laugh. Too many coincidences! Get the string board!)
Eri SMILING and finally acting like a kid during 1-A’s musical number at the Culture Festival and making Mirio cry? That hit me right in the feels.
Speaking of Mirio, I love his friendship with Midoriya. He is the exact kind of friend he needed and he’s so goofy he makes me smile whenever we see him. The Big Three are honestly one of the better parts of the Academia part of the manga/anime.
This is a bit of a petty moment, but I’m petty and it makes me laugh: Overhaul’s whole cameo in the Lady Nagant arc. I personally despise him so seeing him so disheveled and bewildered all of the time gives me joy.
I LOVED Shuichi/Spinner’s loyalty/friendship with Shigaraki. He is such a ride or die friend and it made me smile every time he mentioned how much he was willing to do just to save him. It reminds me of how dedicated Iida/Todoroki were to save Midoriya from himself and it hits home that they’re effective foils of each other.
And of course, Uraraka and Midoriya’s bond is one of my favorite parts. Not only are they both super cute/adorkable, but they care about each other SO MUCH and it HEALS me to see them showing that.
There’s just so much good and while it frustrates me a lot due to the wasted potential I just can’t hate it, y’know? Not when there’s so many good parts to come back to.

Who knew your tormenters accidentally made you fall off of the school rooftop, which would lead to gaining a generational power? A power that so conveniently aligns with the copycat's very own quirk, its almost destiny. A boy who wants to be a hero inherits a great additional power.
Or; Monoma Neito inherits One for All, Izuku Midoryia has his very own special power, Yuga Aoyama is not the traitor and another character is pulling the strings.

I had a conversation with a commenter MrTicklesMMM over a year ago about how All for One seemed like the type to pull an Aizen. We had the exact same thought about the Uraraka construction company. It's been a while so I might not remember perfectly but here are some other ideas for AFO responsible for every evil ever:
-Katsuki was a very kind boy until AFO used a quirk to make him hate Izuku.
-AFO has been quietly stealing cookies Rikido Sato's bakery for years.
-AFO swapped out Denki Kaminari's quirk for LOLs and gave him one that fries his brain when he uses it.
-With subliminal messaging, AFO turned Minoru Mineta into a perver.
-He cyberbullied Momo to destroy her confidence.
-He separated Eijiro Kirishima from his twin brother, Tetsutetsu, at birth so that they were raised by different families.
-AFO shot Sero’s uncle, who then told Sero that with great power comes great responsibility. This was specifically a Spiderman tribute. He did it to Daigoro Banjo too, because he also seemed to have sorta weblike powers.
-AFO mutilated Mezo Shoji’s face.
-Somehow, he gave Koda Koji his bug phobia.
-He dumped estrogen into the Asui family water supply resulting in Tsuyu turning female (yeah, that's a thing that happens to frogs.) She's the only one who doesn't care.
-Yuga Aoyoma wasn’t born quirkless. AFO stole Yuga’s original quirk, Glitter, partly to use him as a traitor later but mostly because he wanted it.
-AFO swapped Dark Shadow and Fumikage Tokoyami: their personalities are at odds because the quirk was originally the human and vice versa. Fumikage realizes that he was always destined for the darkness and the now ironically named Dark Shadow is a being of the light.
-He’s the one who sent Gigantomachia after Mina’s friends.
-AFO was behind Enji and Rei's quirk marriage. When Shouto points out that this is technically a good thing from his perspective because he wouldn’t exist otherwise, AFO says that he also inflicted Dabi upon the world. Shouto sighs and nods.
-He's the reason Toru Hagakure can’t turn her power off. He obtained a quirk a long time ago that can alter the classification of other quirks. Toru’s ability was supposed to be an at will power, but he made it a mutant quirk.
-AFO was behind the music industry raising the price of online songs. He hoped to convince more people to pirate music. Kyouka Jiro nearly claws his eyes out.
-He gave fake info about Tensei to Stain, “proving” that Tensei is a corrupt hero. He hoped Tenya would become a murderer to take revenge and it almost worked.
-Ojiro Mashirao asks what AFO did to him, and AFO is startled. He admits he never even noticed Ojiro is in Class 1-A. Ojiro is much more upset than if AFO had ruined his life.
For the villains:
-AFO hired Muscular to eliminate the Water Hose duo.
-The Sludge Villain only went around committing crimes because AFO promised to swap out his awful quirk if he came up with enough money.
-AFO convinced Re-Destro to follow in the footsteps of his ancestor by saying he personally knew Destro and his last wish had been for his descendants to carry on his mission. Except with even more violence.
-For Dabi, the same except Dabi is upset AFO caused Shouto to exist.
-AFO cyberbullied Spinner as practice for Momo.
-He killed the real Twice and swapping him with a clone for LOLs.
-He tricked Compress into thinking his ancestor was more about randomly killing people and less about wealth redistribution.
-AFO told Toga's parents they should starve her of blood and that would cure her craving and cause her to switch over to craving fruit juice.
P.S. It's all a lie. AFO did not do most of those things, he just claims credit for everything that goes wrong ever.
AFO having a construction company, what are the chances he has something to do with the way Uraraka's parents are bankrupt?
... Headcanon accepted. That bitch is the source of all evil.

TetsuTetsu Traitor Theory!
So I wanted to make my first little contribution to the fandom with a little traitor theory. So here's what I was thinking so far:
TetsuTetsu is exactly like Kirishima.
Think about it, from what we know the two of them:
Have the same birthday.
Have the same personality.
Have practically the same quirk.
Bonus: both have shark teeth.
Tumblr media
Kirishima himself said how alike they were in the sports festival arc, how their quirk and intros were the same. That's gotta mean something, right.
Tumblr media
So what if TetsuTetsu is a clone created by the league, like a nomu type thing but so much smarter, to spy on UA. Of course they had to make slight differences to the clone, so that's why they're not exactly alike but still so similar.
Since they couldn't place someone exactly like Kirishima into 1-A, they would have to place him in 1-B. I've never seen anyone suspect someone from Class 1-B to be the traitor, always A or teachers. Class 1-B is still part of the hero course so could have just as much information as 1-A does.
So that's why I think TetsuTetsu TetsuTetsu is the traitor. As much as I love him, nobody suspects anything. That's what the league is going for, after all.

Since the students have apparently been cleared, I would like to propose a theory
Vlad King is the UA traitor
Of all the pro heroes present at the camp, he was the only one who wasn’t in the thick of the fighting. He did face off with a clone of Dabi, but he never went out to fight. This isn’t suspicious on its own, since he was protecting the students at the camp, but it is worth noting
It’s also worth noting that the press incident before the USJ attack that was used as a cover to steal information means that the traitor likely didn’t start leaking info until after that attack
Also, given that Aizawa had previously been nearly killed by the Noumu at USJ and has shown repeatedly that he will do anything to protect his students, there’s no way he’s the traitor. And I doubt any of the Pussycats were in on it, considering that Pixie-Bob was injured, Ragdoll was kidnapped and had her quirk stolen, and Mandalay’s nephew was present for the attack. So, of the pro heroes present at the camp, Vlad King is the only one I could see actually being the traitor
As far as why he’d do it? It’s a bit of a stretch, but we’ve seen him speaking against 1A’s supposed superiority to the point that he was called out by several students for being biased at the joint training. And what’s the one thing everyone has always said gave 1A their leg up?
The USJ attack

Why Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu is UA's Traitor
@tsukirou made a theory on this as well so you should check them out! )l
Okay, this used to be a joke I'd talk about with my schoolfriends. Overtime, I started to think. I actually feel like this should be considered up in the ranks with Hagakure and Kaminari being the traitor.
This is also going to be a "Tetsutetsu and Eijirou are twins" theory.
Tumblr media
Tetsutetsu and Eijirou could be twins
Now I know what you're thinking: "Kanny, don't be dumb they can't be related!" But that's where you're wrong!
Tumblr media
From their birthday to their Class Rank, these two are identical almost in every way. The only thing wrong here? Tetsutetsu's name.
Let's talk about that.
Have you ever stopped and wondered what Tetsutetsu's parents were smoking when they named him? Literally it's his surname also! It sounds, fake.
It has to be fake, no parent would do thisnto their kid.
What if it is fake? What if at birth, All for One decided to do the same he did with Shigaraki's parents. Instead of killing them, he stole one of their babies. Eijirou's parents could be connected to some villain buisness ( see: traitor kirishima theories. ) Which would help in this way. On the other hand, if All for One had a run in with Eijirou's parents, it could have been the same thing with Shigaraki 's parents. This could be a stretch, but what if Kirishima was raised by not his parents? What if All for One killed them and took his brother?
It's possible! A reach, but possible!
So why woukd Tetsutetsu be at UA if he was kidnapped at such a young age?
Tetsutetsu is a Sleeper Cell.
Tumblr media
It is highly possible that he's so far undercover for the Leauge, that Tetsutetsu doesn't even realize he's a traitor himself. I won't state the obvious of him knowing The Camp and easily able to help create a distraction to get the files for Shigiraki, but what about how one note he is?
Unlike Kirishima, Tetsutetsu normally has one goal. That one note personality was even expanded on by Kendou herself. That's Sleeper Cell personality, baby!
It would also make sense as to why the Vanguard Action Squad still attacked him; he's so undercover that they haven't even met him yet.
It would Hurt.
Tumblr media
Admit it, a lot of people love Tetsutetsu and the jokes we make about him and Kirishima. People — including Kirishima, would be devastated by this.
He's such a sweet and manly character, learning that he's the traitor would hurt like the Kirishima Traitor theories.
That's good writing there!
Tetsutetsu hasn't had an arc yet and I doubt he would considering he's 1-B. But, what if he did? What if this is his arc?
Note; this is all for fun and I'm not telling you to believe me ! I'll add to this the more I think up.

out of curiosity do you think that hatsume would have a chance of beating anyone in the sports festival if she didn’t intentionally throw her first match? for the sake of this argument, whether or not her opponent takes her support items depends on what you think the character would do (iirc i’ve seen the concept that shinsou would go along with her shenanigans in one of your posts, which i found very amusing to think about XD)
For the sake of this, I'm not going to consider her opponents taking her equipment. Because if she gave them some equipment with the explicit purpose of undermining them like that, I'm not sure if that would fly and could hurt her in the eyes of investors. Plus, that's a trick that can only work once, if at all.
Tumblr media
I think she would do well enough but not really have any chance to get near the top. Let's consider Mei's role and overall skills. As a support student, it is her job to understand other students and their Quirks to make equipment. In a brief period of time, she was able to make gear that was perfectly suited for Iida. Since she couldn't possibly know she was going to fight him, she couldn't have made that before the tournament. This is supported considering she was able to build up high grade equipment in a matter of moments while working with limited supplies during the UA Traitor Arc. In that regard, I think she could make some potential counters for some of the other students, namely those with obvious weaknesses to exploit in simple ways. This would be in addition to other equipment she brought with her, such as the flight boots, net gun, and electromagnetic bracers. So I think most of her strategy would be dodging until she could use her equipment.
The most obvious one is Denki. She could make some lighting rod or insulated blanket to protect herself and then capture him. Uraraka can't really get close enough to use her power, and Mei isn't destructive enough to change the terrain for Uraraka's advantage, making her an easy target. Tetsutetsu and Kirishima's straight-forward attack would be simple to avoid and plan around. She could get Kirishima in a net or with some other tool, and she could even repurpose the electromagnetic boots into some tool to help deal with Tetsutetsu. She can have items that can cut or burn through Sero's tape or Ibara's vines if they ever tie her up, though Ibara's cover might be an issue. Aoyama is hard to guess as well. Because I think his attacks are fast enough to break her equipment, but I think she could have some reflective material to stop them, like a mirror buckler. Mina could burn through her equipment, as I doubt she could get the same material Mina uses to acid proof her materials. Maybe if she made a hose to spray water at the acid?
That being said, there are a lot of students who could stop her. Mei's scatterbrained nature and love of talking would make her an easy target for Shinso to brainwash. Momo's creations are too unpredictable to plan around, and her own intelligence could let her out prepare Mei. Tokoyami is too quick and aggressive to really stop. Even with some light devices, I don't think she can do enough damage to stop Dark Shadow. She was able to work around Iida in canon, but that's only because the support equipment threw him off. If he wanted to, I'm certain he could Recipro Burst her out of the ring. Bakugou and Shoto have similar issues in that they are too strong to plan around in such a short time, Shoto with his overwhelming power and Bakugou with his amazing combat abilities. And while she could easily make something to stop a normal Izuku, I think his own ingenuity and raw power output could work around that if it came down to it. Overall, she has decent chances against half the students, but the rest of the competition is too stiff to work past. Not bad for a girl who can't even use her Quirk in this fight.

Slightly related to the last chapter of 'Oh No, A Child' but:
Izuku: "Okay. I'll forgive you for accusing me of being a villain and traitor trying to get my loved ones killed, and admit that you had good reason for thinking that, if you let me test out how well AfO interacts with Copy."
Monoma: "I really feel like I don't have anything to apologize for so why would I care about your forgiveness?"
Izuku: "Because if I'm dating Eijiro and you're dating Tetsutetsu that means we're going to end up at family events together and you don't want me hounding you for it every time."
Monoma: "............... I hate you so much."

KIRISHIMA IS THE TRAITOR
My sister hates me for this theory, but before you hate me too, hear me out, yeah? Kirishima is the traitor and I will die. On. this. Hill. Don’t get me wrong, I totally love the guy, he’s my second favorite character (first is Iida, love you bae) but through all the options, he makes the most sense, and here’s why:
(also spoilers ahead if you’re not caught up)
Bakugo
Now whether you ship Kiribaku or not, it is established that they have a very close relationship (romantic or platonic). Now when Bakugo was kidnapped by the League of Villains, Kirishima was one of the people to save him. This could be used as a counterpoint to my argument, HOWEVER, who’s to say you haven’t already fallen into his trap? Thinking what every other character thinks? It would only make sense that he would want to:
A- Stay close to the investigation to know how much his peers know, or to perhaps lead them in a certain direction.
B- Prove his innocence by playing a true hero
Also, during the rescue, Kirishima brought goggles and was the one to use them. Sure, this could be played off as plot convenience but I don’t believe that our master Horikoshi would be so lazy. Maybe Kirishima was playing guard, sure, but for which team? It could have been a signal that he gave to one of the villains to let them know they were there. I would say they were relatively compared to fight when the kids came.
It is also worth noting that while Midoriya was discussing his plan with Kiri, he said that he and Bakugo have had a close relationship ever since the year began. It would make sense that Deku and Kacchan would have a close relationship, as they grew up together, but Kirishima wouldn’t have known Bakugo. This sparky little bastard isn’t one to attract friends, especially people as sensitive as Kirishima, right? So why did he stay so close for so long? Why would Kirishima go through so much fighting to be his friend? What is in it for him? Perhaps, it was his mission. Get close to Bakugo, the powerful boy with emotional issues, and make him join our team. It all makes perfect sense! Horikoshi is the type of writer to give reason to every single action, and this is Kirishima’s deeper motivation.
TetsuTetsu
The comedic similarities between Kirishima and Tetsu is a recurring joke, but have you ever stopped to wonder why they’re so similar? Perhaps, Kirishima is using Tetsu as an example for what to act like, studying him to know how to fit in. Meryl Streep studied with classical musicians and even learned how to play the violin for her role in Music of the Heart. An actor follows who they want to imitate to learn how they react in situations. Sure, it could just be played off as comedy, but if we think he’s putting up an act, it would only make sense that there would be someone exactly like him, someone who he’s trying to be.
His Backstory:
One of my sister’s arguments is that he couldn’t possibly be the traitor because he has his own backstory. He has reason to be a hero, he imitates Crimson Riot, and his backstory is one of the first ones to get shared. However, the placement of his backstory seems incredibly convenient to me. After we learn that there is a traitor, we’d start to watch the people we want to be the most. Like characters that don’t get a lot of screen time or characters that we hate (cough cough, M*neta). But we know Horikoshi lives for the dramatics, it would only make sense that he would do as much as he could do to make the plot twist even sharper, such as giving Kirishima a backstory that seems to eliminate the possibility of him being the traitor right after the traitor was announced to exist.
Again with his backstory, it was pretty generic. I wasn’t there for someone when they needed me and now I swear to work as hard as I can to never let anyone down again. Every other member of Class 1-A had wanted to be a hero since the very beginning of their life, Kirishima had no interest until he saw Mina, so how was he so caught up in the training? Even if he’s twice as dedicated as anyone else, it wouldn’t make up for his lost physical training. The only other person that I can think of who didn’t have their whole life to prepare themself is Deku, who was trained by the World’s Best Hero, Allmight. It just wouldn’t make sense that he would not only get into the school but earn place 7 after the test?
Also, speaking of tests, his midterm came in 15th, how would he have dropped 8 places unless there was suddenly something else preoccupying his mind and time, such as a secret mission with Mr-20-hands.
Also with his backstory, we see him completely change himself. Now I love the headcanon that he is trans, I wholeheartedly believe in it for sure. But what if there was something else? What if Kirishima had to look different to avoid getting recognized. Dye his hair crazy red, Change his personality, his demeanor, completely change himself to avoid looking at all like old Kirishima, openly villain Kirishima. His whole look is altered after Crimson Riot, his personality after TetsuTetsu, both of which share his same quirk; which part of Kirishima is strictly Kirishima?
TO SUM UP:
Out of all the kiddos in class 1-A, Eijirou Kirishima is the one most likely to be the traitor. Not only would it be fantastic for Horikoshi’s narrative, but it would be great for the character’s motivations and feels too. It would give Kirishima a reason for everything he’s done in the series so far. It would give Bakugo not only more drive to be the world’s #1 hero, but to give him an emotional reason that holds him back from being a hero at all. It would give reason to Kirishima’s constant presence and lack of individuality. It clearly makes the best sense that Eijiuro Kirishima is the Class 1-A Traitor.
